Redheads are an endangered species.
The Oxford Hair Foundation predicts that by the year 2100 the gene that causes red hair will be extinct... and redheads are not taking their impending annihilation lightly. In "R.R.R.E.D, the Musical" Victoria O'Hara, played by Katie Thompson of Scott Alan's "Piece" (NAMT0, "Broadway Idol" (NYMF), and "The Lighthouse Project" with Duncan Sheik and Keith Powell; and GJ Crocket, played by co-writer Patrick Livingston, hold a secret meeting with "Instructional Tutorial Musical Lessons" (songs) in an effort mobilize and nip this problem in the bud. With a script born from improvisation, and music that is Blues meets Pop on Broadway; this show is funny, emotional, and destined for world domination. And that, ladies and gentleman... is exactly the point.

NEXT GATHERING: September 7th, 2008

The expected number of natural redheads to attend in 2008 is 1500. A group picture will be taken, and there will be exhibitions of a number of artists (painters, photographers, movie director) who are using red hair as their major theme. There is also a very large program filled with other activities. Foreign redheads are especially welcome. The meeting is free. Leave your email addres at www.roodharigen.nl for a formal invitation.

Improv Everywhere Stages Hilarious Protest of Wendy's Logo
Over 50 redheads rode the subway together ("What would it be like if you got onto a subway car and slowly realized that everyone on the car but you had red hair?") and protested a Manhattan Wendy's for their "racist logo". Watch the full video here.
