If you could choose any place in the world to live, where would it be?

Hawaii---definitely!! I cannot live where there is no ocean, I hate cold weather and I love tropical plants and flowers. And if the island was sparsely populated---even better!!! Plus, it is just a hop, skip and a jump to LA!!

When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?

It was a toss-up between a teacher (I love to read and adore children) and a detective (I was a huge fan of Nancy Drew)

Your occupation now?

I am a stay-at-home mom

What are some of your interests and hobbies?

NASCAR, gardening, reading, movies, music. We have a standing Saturday night poker game. I love camping and going to the beach. And I love to cook and throw the best parties----esp. kids birthday parties.

What would you say are your character strengths?

I can handle literally anything you throw at me. I am willing to help everyone and always try to see the bright side of things. I do 'whatever it takes'

Weaknesses?

Procrastination and fear of the unknown.

Do you have any quirks you think are strange or amusing?

LOL I am a control freak. OK, maybe not freak, but I do like to control my surroundings. Also, I am most likely a closet nudist.

Who is/was the most influential person/role model in your life?

I can't say there was really one---I try to take away the best of everyone I meet

What are your achievements/accomplishments that you are the most proud of?

My two beautiful, smart, healthy daughters are my crowning achievement. I am also proud of my marriage---so many people consider them to be 'disposable' and temporary.

Are you currently single, involved, or married?

Happily married!

What qualities do you find the most attractive in other people?

That they are straightforward, honest and fun to be around.

What is one thing you would change about the world?

Less hatred and more people who are concerned about the environment and what we are doing to our planet.

What is your favorite food?

That is a tough one---there are so many. OK, chocolate is not really a food......artichokes, most fruits (allergic to apples and peaches), steak, veal piccata, rice, most desserts. Salad. Coffee. I just love food PERIOD Surprised I am not the size of a house

If you could meet anyone, dead or alive, who would you choose?

My ancestors----now that I am older there is so much I want to know about living during the Depression, my father's and Grandfather's war experiences. So much. Of course I would like to meet Jesus (Catholic upbringing you know.....) And my personal idol, Princess Diana.

If you won the lottery tomorrow, what would you do with the money?

Ok, I think about this one every week when I play. Help family and friends, get complete physicals for me and my hubby, go home to NJ for awhile, travel, follow the NASCAR circuit, go to all my favorite concerts, go on safari, get my kids the best education possible, give to charity, SHOP!!

Do you consider yourself a spiritual person?

Yes, I have a firm belief in God and know he is watching over me.

Is there any particular historical era that you feel drawn to?

So many----I excelled at history in H.S. Different periods in different parts of the world---Medieval in England, Renaissance in Italy, late 1800's in US, Czarist Russia.

What are your favorite books and authors?

Stephen King, Anne Rice, Patricia Cornwell, Terry Brooks, Tolkien, the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, Harry Potter series

What are your favorite movies?

Lord of the Rings, Gone with the Wind, Titanic, Braveheart, Legends of the Fall (OK, anything with Brad Pitt) Geez, I could go on and on and on.... I love movies.

What is your most prized possession?

We had a house fire and lost nearly everything-----so everything that was saved or salvaged I am grateful for and hold dear to my heart. Things from my childhood, pics of my children----not material things but ones that hold memories.

What is your favorite color?

Green hands down It's why I live in FL it is always green here

What are your favorite television shows?

I watch General Hospital religiously---have for over 30 years. NASCAR religiously. 70's Show. And I just got hooked on Sex in The City----feels like I was being watched all thru my 20's LOL

What are some of your pet peeves?

Stupid people, leaving the seat up, bad drivers

What are some of the issues that you are passionate about?

Environment, child abuse, politics

Do you have any tattoos or piercings?

2 earring each ear----pretty tame. Have considered getting a tattoo......

What is one thing you hope to accomplish before you die?

I would really like to own my own business one day----party planning, catering

What is something you've always wanted to do/try but haven't yet?

I would like to drive cross country and travel thru Europe

Where do you see yourself ten years (what are your goals)?

Who knows? I live for today---might not be here tomorrow....
