Self-Description: I am 6'4" tall. I am originally from Slovakia, also lived
in Austria and Italy, but have been in the US for the last 15
years.
I am a programmer, actor, and writer.
My hair color has a very unusual history: According to my
parents, I was born with black hair, but several weeks later
turned blond (yellow). My hair later turned brown and was brown
during my childhood. While in my home country red hair is
considered ugly (sic!), as a child I always desired to be a
redhead. So, I was quite excited when in my teens my hair turned
reddish brown. All this was natural, believe it or not. In my
adulthood my hair turned quite red, and I intend for it to stay
that way even though by now I have to help it by covering up some
gray. Strangely enough I had no freckles as a child but my skin
freckled up at about the same time my hair started turning red.
I have recently found out that yellow and red hair is caused by
the same type of melanin, the difference is in how it is spread
out in the hair. This seems to explain my history. Obviously, I
always had the red color in my hair from babyhood. It just showed
as yellow at first. Then, apparently it was hidden under the
increasing amount of brown melanin, but again took over in my
teens, this time as red, not yellow.
I believe that people who make fun of redheads are actually
jealous and do not want to admit it. When my hair was still
brown, I felt the same jealosy, but did not try to cover it up.
For that, I believe, I was rewarded by finally becoming a redhead
myself, yipeeeee!!!
Children: I do not have any, but I love children, and hope to
have children some day.
Interests: I have many interests: Computers, theatre (both going
to and acting), writing, photography, playing StockGeneration,
graphics and video (especially with computers). I love travelling
around the world.
More Info: I am thinking about retiring in California sometime next
year (2000). I want to go back to school - Brooks Institute in
Santa Barbara, then travel around the world taking pictures and
making films. I also hope to finally get married, to a redhead of
course, and have children. I just hope my children will be
redheads, right from birth, and not have to wait till their
teens!
