Self-Description: I'm a sometimes quiet, sometimes strong spoken, and often times opinionated
redhead originally hailing from Boston. I love animals, but sometimes have a
difficult time with the prejudices of humanity. My first loves are
spirituality, art, and my boyfriend, who has been a huge blessing in my life.
My name is pronounced "Ash-ling" and I've had such a hard time with people
saying it incorrectly and then not listening to me when I tell them how to say
it the right way. It's a Gaelic name which means "vision/dream" and it fits me
well, since I'm an artist of Irish descent.
Children: None right now, but I think that children are a beautiful blessing.
Interests: I love art and tattoos (which are, really, just another art form). If I could go back in time I'd love to hang out with Van Gogh for a day because I relate to some of his inner torments (although I'm very into living in solutions these days rather than in negative dramas). I love the spirituality of Celtic Wicca and have recently become involved in it again, after much soul searching and confusion. I'd love to hear from others who practice this peaceful and beautiful religion.
