Self-Description: I'm a stay-at-home mother, far from "home." (Whose idea was it to move
to Wisconsin, again?) I'm an attachment parent, for those who like labels; for my money, I'm just
a mother who believes that her children are worthy of her respect and the extra time it takes to
show them that.
I've been writing on the web since 1999, and you can catch the whole of it at my domain

nothing approximating the typical "Here's what I like!" lists or IM transcripts, and, as a bonus, I
can spell and use proper grammar, freak that I am.
Children: Two boys, neither of whom has the red. Sigh! Other than that, of course, they're completely perfect. ;-)
Interests: Music - art music, especially post Romantic period; Indian pop; neo-folk; "world music" without added drum machines or other bastardizations
Books - "great lit-ra-churr," fantasy/sci-fi, children's literature
TV - Reality opiates programming, drama
