Self-Description: A little random...a little impulsive-- but what do you
expect from a Sag sun/moon girl with Aries rising. A little
fire, perhaps? I'm an actress, living in LA about a mile or so
from the beach, working mainly in other people's independent
films, but also currently writing my own screenplay.
I am Jewish and live my life in accordance with Jewish mystical
and Buddhist principles, but practice no one religion. For my own
personal health and well-being, I am an almost vegetarian, which
basically means that if I can have a meal without meat involved I
will probably choose that, but I am also tolerant and don't
condemn others for different choices. I am also a great cook (as
is my husband!) so we try to turn on our non-veg friends to some
of the more wonderful substitutes out there (and it usually
works, as I am very picky and will not say something tastes
like...if it doesn't!!)
In my free time (a concept I remember from some vaguer moment
past) I skate with the dog along the beach and marina, watch
quirky movies (the IFC/Bravo type), read science fiction,
practice yoga. I am also a firm believer in scented candles and
fresh flowers and try to establish an environment of beauty
around me at all times. Of course having a gem of a husband
around to fill my life with love is an incredible start.
Children: Not any time soon...but I love other people's!!
One step fur-child named Francis (his website is the dog rescue
one linked to off of mine)
Interests: The links area of my web site covers most of the
topics I find worthy of exploration and serves as a launch pad
for people to find out more about me and the things I believe
in--includes areas dealing with dog rescue, astrology, in-line
skating, dreaming, tarot, wicca, mysticism, psychopharmacology,
UFOs, literature, pop culture, charities I support and the
environment plus much more that I can't think of right now.
Basically, my web site exists to empower other people, to bring
joy, laughter and beauty into people's lives, and expose people
to eclectic ideas that they might never otherwise have reached.
And so what if I'm a little smart-ass sometimes--a little sarcasm
never killed anyone...
More Info: Ever since I was a kid I always thought having red hair
would be the coolest, even though my few friends with natural red
hair hated it (of course, since you always hate whatever you
have) So about 6 months ago, I had a talk with my hair
stylist--and we went for it! Because my hair is naturally blonde,
I have to recommit to the red quite often as it fades out rather
quickly--but let me tell you...it's been well worth it. My new
hair color is my favorite EVER and I've actually had more people
positively comment on it than I ever thought would!! So I plan
to stick with it for quite a while...and let this redhead take on
the blondes in the fun department.
