Self-Description: I'm extremely
independent, headstrong, and I
laugh a lot. When I know what I
want, I go for it 100%. I take
people for who they are and despise
head games. I expect verity in my
relationships, or I don't bother. It
is a true waste of my time without it.
I have been called obsessive compulsive
on occasion, but I think those who say that are
just jealous ... :-) I have to admit,
I am
not naturally a redhead, but as my
mentor (a hairdresser) used to tell
me "Erika, God made a mistake when
he made you blonde, that's why he
made you a hairdresser." Which leads
me to my motto: Whoever said blondes
have more fun was never a redhead.

Interests: I am an avid lover of music, mostly Americana, but I like many different types, most are pretty obscure to the general public. I also love independent and foreign films. I am in a band called the Tatters. I am a vocalist and play the viola and working on the guitar. I work for a haircare distributor as a brand manager for a line called Fudge as well as still working part time behind the chair in a salon, so in addition to my son and my band, I am quite busy. I have very little free time, but enjoy the time that I do have seeing bands or movies. I have an avid love for life and people, and enjoy spending time with others who enjoy the same. As I noted before, I get a lot of attention as a redhead, and I love it. I have also found, that having experience as a blonde, I also get more respect. I have been red for 13 years, and will never go back. I have a redhead skin tone with lots of freckles, so it looks much better on me anyway. I have to say that the worst pick-up line I've heard is "Does the carpet match the drapes?" I prefer a man to be attracted to my mind.
