Self-Description: I just finished my Ph.D. in Performance Studies.
I teach Fundamentals of Speech in the Speech Comm./Theatre Department at Kutztown University.
I'm very midwestern--have the guilt and politeness thing down to a sickening degree.
Free spirited, energetic (hyper as hell some would say), funny, witting, and charming, if I don't say so myself! LOL Creative, insightful, passionate about what I do/about life--love to try out new things.
Short--5' 2" 1/4, my doctor just informed me (damn, haven't grown at all since high school)
In my thirties. Long hair--pictures are old, but I still look like that (those are 3 years old)--will update.
Love vintage clothes, jewelry, scarves, old funky purses.
Children: At times I like to act like a child!
Interests: Performance (writing my own one-woman narratives and attending shows),
reading, drawing/oil pastels, hiking, walking, lifting free weights
(I'm no Pocket Hercules), camping, backpacking, cooking, singing/dancing
(taking Salsa and African dance lessons now), writing letters (handwritten, when I can),
movies, dogs (want one badly), music (going to live shows/listening to CD's)
Want to 1) learn to play guitar, 2) become fluent in Spanish and Gaelic (it's an Irish thing),
and 3) learn to step dance quite well
My family and friends and students are very, very important to me--people in general are. I'm very into my family/friends--have many of each.
