Self-Description: Selfish. Tempramental. Emotional. Intelligent. And I do not suffer
fools gladly. Prone to random acts of generosity and silliness, I have an
overriding interest in psychotherapy and helping people, largely because
it's at the polar opposite to my usual inclination, which is to run and
hide behind a locked door with a book or a film, and not let anyone in.
Time for *me* is paramount. I am a creature of extremes- if I comment on
something it's to offer praise or criticism. I cannot abide sitting on the
fence, and refuse to like people who have 'no opinions' on matters close to
my heart. I am generally known as a 'good listener', bizarrely- something
that amazes me every time I hear it- but this is probably due to me
balancing out the selfish 'me' time with 'time for everyone *but* me'.
neither are healthy- but I never claimed to be so. I smoke. I drink. I am
sarcastic, cynical and irreligious. I have a better education than most
people I meet, and a quicker wit. I am egotistical, I hold grudges, and,
being English, the most ridiculous things make me laugh.
Interests: I'm a web designer, but it bores me. I have been, and will be
again, a therapist- I just need to get some more hours done. There hasn't
been a book written that I will not attempt to read- though most get thrown
against the wall and shot after a hundred or so pages. Most deserve it too.
I enjoy my friends. I am goth- but a fairly crap goth, as I can't be
bothered with makeup. It's the music and the intelligence that you
sometimes find alongside the bland posturing that makes it all worthwhile.
Give me a dancefloor and people in black and I'm happy. Movies also play a
large part in my life- and if you're smart you'll guess which genre.
