Self-Description: Vibrant, quick wit, short temper, big heart. People have
told me that I have a "presence" and that when I walk into a
room, everyone notices. Although painfully shy as a child, I
quickly grew out of that to become a true extrovert. My husband
always teases me that I know someone where ever I go (it's
true!). Maybe it's because I am such a true friend to those who
I choose to get close to. I pride myself on being a strong
female and don't take crap from anyone. I am a take-charge kind
of gal, and do my best to take advantage of any opportunity I can
to learn and grow, whether it be physically, emotionally,
intellectually or spiritually. I practice yoga, and have an
affinity for alternative/natural medicine and healing. However I
am not without addictions, which include Slurpees, cheese nachos,
cookies, ice cream and popsicles, and occasionally cigarettes. I
try.
Children: Not yet.....
Interests: I am fascinated by the earth's waters and everything
that lives in them, as well as most of the creatures that live on
land. I love music and listen to everything from Frank Sinatra
and Ella Fitzgerald to the Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Dave
Matthews Band. I'm also a huge movie fan, and have been a Wizard
of Oz collector for years. I am artistic and when not working
full time, I dabble in Interior Decorating (a natural flair, I'm
told), painting, cross-stitch, knitting, quilting, sketching,
jewelry making and various other crafts which I've begun and not
finished over the years.
