Self-Description: Hey! I'm a natural redhead, born and bred. I get it from both sides of the family but it's most obviously from my dad's. My sister's hair is brighter than mine (hers is practically orange) but I've got it too. My aunt's (of which there are FIVE!) all have the hair (and the personality) which makes family gatherings a little interesting...
So a little about me...I live in the Seattle area of the grand and glorious state of Washington, have the "red personality" (my friends say I'm feisty) and a wonderful and amazing boyfriend (who is sadly not a redhead, but his mom is dyed!) I have an uber-fluffy dog named Rudy and a crazy young cat named Niko (after a character in one of my favorite fantasy books.) I have two sisters (both older) and a 1-year-old niece. My favorite book is Lost Moon by Jim Lovell (I happen to be a NASA freak) and my favorite food is French Dip. I like listening to music and I enjoy jazz and Christian music best. My favorite singer is Steven Curtis Chapman (absolutely, hands down, no buts about it) but I also like Michael W. Smith and Rebecca St. James. My favorite band is Avalon, but I like Third Day, Mercy Me and Newsboys as well.
Interests: Growing up in Washington, I'm pretty outdoorsy. I enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, and camping (although I'm not so hardcore that I go in the rain or snow...I usually wait for better weather.) I also enjoy 2 of the three R's (reading and writing...not so much on the 'rithmetic though!) My hobbies include learning about NASA and music. I play several instruments including the piano, alto and soprano recorders, baritone horn, Irish whistle and trumpet skillfully, guitar and dulcimer less skillfully. I also sing a lot and accompany for my school choir. Other activities: shopping, talking, and IMing.
More: One thing no one seems know about me: I juggle. It seems to be a natural talent, but I can juggle almost anything. I sometimes grab a few balls and put on my music and juggle for hours at a time: it makes a VERY good upper-body workout!
