Self-Description: I am a shy and passionate redhead who takes life ... I'm usually
really easy going, but at raremoments my redhead rage comes out and things
usually get thrown and broken (I got that from my grandmother who is also a
redhead). I usually live in a dream world of my own composed of fantasy
and sci fi novels, poetry and movies. I have a real artistic soul and that
makes me a little more emotional than most people I think sometimes. I
love the little things in life, like butterflies and ladybugs, strong
winds, the smell of grass and the countryside, fields of yellow dandilions,
the moon and stars, warm Texas nights, and the ocean. Growing up I was
always a foot taller than everyone else, and always stuck out in the crowd
especially with my hair color, so I always felt like I was kind of special
in my own way.
Children: no children right now, just little animals to keep me happy
until the time is right. I hope one day to have a little red head girl
with little pigtails.
Interests: My two main passions in life are art and piano. I've been
playing piano since I was about 5 and now teach it part time. (I also teach
art). I love playing Chopin, Bach, Mozart and many others, but Chopin's
music really appeals to me the most. I hope one day to have a piano of my
own, preferably a baby grand, because I think I would be empty inside if I
didn't have one to play occassionaly when the mood strikes. My main
profession is art though. I am going to teach art hopefully at the
elementary level once I graduate, which will be soon. I love working with
little kids, I love their perspective on life and they always cheer me up.
I enjoy doing all sorts of different arts like painting (mostly acrylic and
some waterwater, and then I dally with oils every once and a while),
drawing (I am currently working on portraits of people in graphite, I just
only wish I had more time to make it more of a part time job), photography,
and ceramics. I also enjoy riding bikes, jogging, karate, listening to all
sorts of different music like anything celtic or has bagpipes in it to most
stuff you hear on the radio, (btw I love anything that deals with scotland,
esp. kilts.. drool), and I always enjoy reading. I love the Lord of the
Ring books and was practically obsessed with Dragonlance in highschool. I
also like Anne Rice, Dean Koontz, Diana Gabaldon, Jean Auel, and many
others.
