Self-Description: Hi Everybody, The condensed version of me is I am currently a 21 year
old college student in Washington state (Olympia to be exact). My home is out
in the boondocks with my mom and her 2 dogs(pugs) and cat. I am originally from
California (Bay Area) so I still hold a soft spot for it sometimes. I drive a
98 Saturn SL-1, a cheap but great car with good gas milage (none of that Earth
Destroyer Unlimited Series SUV crap for me). People tell me I have a knack for
writing but I think this little blurb has just disproved that, but I think
everyone out there can sympathize how hard it can be to just write about
yourself. I always worrying if I'm putting down too much info, too little, and
how dorky i sound. Some people dig dorky though, so heres hoping. I tend to be
one of thouse kind of people that enjoys coffee shops in the city and good
books or reading various RSS feeds on my mac (I'm one of those insane machead
nerdy types). I am rather "in my head" in that i spend a lot of time just
thinking, imagining, and fantasizing. I tend to keep people at a safe distance
and just listen until i get a feel for them and can tell what i can expect from
them, which is something that doesn't necessarily work since some take it as a
sign of rejection even though it's not. I can be pretty witty at times though.
Interests: FYI my favorite flower is the Tiger Lilly (my mom grows them). I hated the new
"War of The Worlds" movie. I liked The Hitchhikers Guide movie. I am a HUGE fan
of the band Garbage, been listening to "Bleed Like Me" for weeks now. I am a
HUGE fan of Alanis Morrissette, not to mention the traditional gay staples of
Madonna and Kylie. The Scissor Sisters are good too! If you can't tell i tend
to enjoy pop music, its just my thang. Most of the stuff i have been reading
lately has been obscure academia stuff and non-fiction political type books If
you are wondering about my religion, I tend to subscribe to the idea of being a
quasi-agnostic, in that I just don't know anything about anything, but i also
hope that there is "God" in what ever form it may be and hopefully some kind of
afterlife. I just don't think we people have figured out anything yet, so we
should be more honest and open about that. It is a strange and sometimes
uncomfortable place to be but it works for me. I currently am on track for a
degree in political science, but i ultimately i want a degree in social work
and/or teaching. It depends on whether i want to transfer AGAIN or not, which i
really don't want to. I've still got some planning to do. My current favorite
eyecandy is Cilian Murphey, he played the bad guy in Batman Begins, he just had
the preetiest eyes. Thats all the stuff i could scrape out of my brain for now,
