Self-Description: I'm a brainy, liberal Democrat from a family full of the same. I'm also an
info-junkie, which drives my wife crazy. ("Is there anything that you know
Nothing about?") I'm from Winter Haven, FL but have lived here in Tallahassee
for almost 15 years. I've been teaching at a local preschool for over 12 of
those years. I became a married man in February of '01 when I got hitched to my
wife Kathe. We now have our first child on the way. (Due next Feb.) The sources
of my greatest joys are my wife and my job.
Children: We have a little baby boy that was born in January of this year. ('02)
Interests: I'm very interested in childcare of course. So I have a tendency to
stay updated on the topic on both state and national levels. I am into health
and fitness and try to eat a lower-fat, higher fiber diet and hit the gym at
least twice a week. I also love to go walking and some biking. Also, I love
Apple computers. Although my own is a five-year old PowerMac 6400 (read: archaic)
I try to keep up-to-date on curent Mac trends. (Like OS X.)
More: I've always enjoyed being a redhead. Mainly because I like sticking out in
a crowd and being different. I can spot fellow redheads a mile away and can even
pick them out of black and white photos usually! My younger brother Russell and
I were the first redheads in over 2 generations and my mom was picked on about
it. (Her hair was dark brown, my dad's hair black, but her OB's was red!!)
