Self-Description: I am a gemini with Cancer rising and a scorpio moon. For those not
familiar with astrology, this means that I have at least two
personalities(Gemini), I am a sensitive, nurturing person(Cancer), who is
secretive, sexy and intense(Scorpio). I am intelligent, warm, giving, and
independent, but can be difficult at times. Others percieve me as extroverted,
but I am an introvert. I have two children who are both in college and a
grandson who is a joy. My son Justin is Brilliant, sensitive and able to
communicate well. My son Jamey is Courageous and kind, with a huge heart and a
great sense of humor. I also have a grandson Dylan who is my joy. I am so
blessed. After trying to maintain superwoman status for too many years, I am
back in school to learn to program. I would be strictly a student forever if I
could. It is fun being the grandma at school. I hope to write a book one day,
but should try to learn spelling and punctuation first. I can never remember a
joke, but I laugh at myself alot.
Children: I have a son Justin and a son Jamey. They are both in college. I have
a grandson Dylan who was born in 1999. He is, of course, darling. None of my
children have red hair, but my neice Stephanie does and she looks just like me!
Interests: I read just about anything I can get my hands on. I like Dean
Koontz, Lawrence Sanders, Anne Rice, and John Grisham. I can simply get lost in
a book. I also have the ability to get lost in my computer. I am so addicted to
the internet.
I like to study astrology. Not the kind you find in the newspaper, but the whole
birth chart. I am interested in medical astrology, karmic astrology and looking
at family members charts to see how they relate. It is one of those things where
you start out a skeptic, but the more you learn, the more you think there is
something to it.
I have a soft heart and am an animal person. Many times I have gotten up every
couple of hours, through the night, to nurse an animal someone has brought me. I
have a cat Destiny that was, of course, a stray. She decided I should belong to
her. She is my only animal at the moment. I no longer want to have a house full
of animals though.
I am addicted to the internet. I am always looking for E-mail buddies and like
message boards also.
I like to cook, but my love is baking. Particularly anything chocolate. I love
sweets. This means that I have spent my life on a diet. Would be glad to discuss
diets and exercise with anyone. I really do have an interest in nutrition and am
putting off a run as I sit here writing. I also like to ride my bike, work out
with weights, roller blading, skating, walking, etc.etc.
I like to draw and do crafts. I also like to dig in the dirt and work on my
house. I own a big two story and I am trying to restore some of it's original
charm that a bad sixties remodling removed.
