Self-Description: Greetings & Salutations! My new friend, Prana (she's in here, too), told
me about the Realm of Redheads and suggested I join - so here I am! I'm a
professional watercolor artist living in western North Carolina with my husband,
Jerry, and our cat, Creature. Creature and I are both natural redheads. Oddly
enough, my hair is getting darker over the years....was your basic carrot-top as
a child, but have progressed to a dark auburn. But get me in the sunshine and
that old flame red still shows! My husband loves my hair and says it's part of
the reason he married me - that's okay because I tell him I married him for
three reasons; he's a Texan, he's got a black cowboy hat, and his goatee. I'm in
the process of growing out all the layers I had cut into it just before I got
married. I'm wanting it long and all one length like it was when I was young ...
at it's longest, it was 3" above my knees! Personally speaking, I don't believe
there is any other color of hair so beautiful as red.
Interests: My interests are: first and foremost - ART in almost any form. Then,
I'd have to say reading because I've always got to have a book to read or I get
nuts. I also love camping ... in particularly the campfire and cowboy coffee. I
love trout fishing and some day hope to own my a really nice fly rod. I'll have
to throw sewing and quilting in there, too. I love picing out the fabrics,
putting them all together and coming up with something that once day may be an
heirloom for my nieces or nephews (since I don't have kids).
