Self-Description: I have lived in Southern California all my life. With the ocean
and the mountains being only two hours apart from each other, there is
so much to see and do here. But I also try to venture out as much as
possible.
I am a Christian man who is passionate about life and experiencing it
thoroughly as well as sharing it in a committed relationship with my
soulmate - haven't found her yet but still looking.
I see life as a journey and each day as an opportunity to meet new
people, be exposed to new places and ideas that stretch me. I tend to be
conservative in my viewpoints, but I enjoy challenging stimulating
conversation as well. Oh, but too much seriousness can make things
rather boring. So, life must be balanced by regular doses of laughter
(It's important not to take too much too serious).
My loves and passions in life are partner dancing (West Coast Swing,
Latin, Ballroom, Contemporary, and Country two-step) and singing. I
participate in partner style dancing at least three times a week, and
compete at various dance contests about twice a month. These events
also provide me with the opportunity to sing the National Anthem during
opening ceremonies, or sing select songs from musical theatre at the
event's dinner show. Needless to say, I also enjoy the theatre and try
to attend every chance I get.
My daytime activities (usually on the weekend) revolve around cycling,
running; walking, hiking and photographing beautiful scenery, and lately
working in my yard.
Children: I have none of my own - by I do have seven nieces and nephews.
I am to them, "Jungle Joe!"
