Self-Description: I love being alive! I love people, their individual histories,
I love music and how it crosses all borders, all differences. I'm
retired now, but was a heavy-metal drummer for 20 years, a "campfire"
guitarist for 25. I just recently moved to Phoenix from Cleveland,
Ohio, I'm on day 6 of QUITTING SMOKING! And I've finally found a
wonderful mate who can HANDLE ME, JUST THE WAY I AM!! I've been told
I'm naive, un-assuming, artistic, kind, gentle. And on St. Patrick's
Day I'm downright GOOFY! I love the bagpipes, no matter where they
originated, I love Celtic history, forests, mountains, horses and
Harley Davidson! I'm part Irish, Cherokee, Hungarian, German and
Hippie. And I'm thrilled to have found this redhead site!
Children: Two noisy, smelly, rowdy teenage sons, who are best friends
even though one's a left-brainer, one's a right-brainer!
Interests: I love to read, I thoroughly enjoy sci-fi movies with all
those great effects, I love to ride - horses and harleys! I enjoy live
music, AC/DC is probably my favorite band to see in concert, but also
Paige/Plant, Ozzy, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rush, Metallica, y'know. I've
jammed with Robert Lockwood Jr., one of the fathers of blues, and
created/produced/directed Woodsrock 91, a three-day, 33-band veterans'
benefit concert in Cleveland, and the only incident was that Foghat's
bus got stuck in the mud! I look forward to travelling around the
country and the world, and plan on building a home in the mountains
somewhere, off the grid, for retirement.
More: I have been working on a concept for a book, which would revolve
around research involving redheads; one of the discussions/analyses
would be to assemble data/questionnaires, to see if there's any
correlation between mates who choose redhead partners, and their
caregivers... for instance, I've been married twice; neither worked
out, but each had a redhead mom; and now, my boyfriend of three years
was raised by his gramma, a redhead. *
