Self-Description: I've been a redhead my whole life. So has my mum, so has my
grandmother, and even my VERY Scottish great-grandmother was known for
twisting up her mass of fire-red hair into a long cord, slicing through
the end (which reached her waist) with a sharp knife and tossing the
handful into the fireplace. This was her version of a day at the salon. Of
our long line of Celtic women, I'm the least practical and most emotional.
But some of the things I've inherited directly (other than melanocortin 1)
are a strong-willed independence, and a love of hard work, animals, and
art. I'm engaged to an extremely supportive man who thinks redheads are
goddesses (my mum approves) and we live together with two amazing cats and
a bearded dragon.
Interests: Photography, Animals, Travel, Books, the Discovery Channel
(also include the History, Biography, Science, Health, and Travel
Channels. Plus Animal Planet) Languages, and Movies
More: My fiance and I are huge Eddie Izzard fans and can quote his "Dress
To Kill" tour almost from beginning to end. (Is that miscellaneous enough
for ya?)
If anyone out there speaks or knows a lot of Gaelic (the
ancient Irish and Scottish language) I had a few months of it while living
in Scotland several years ago and would love to take it back up again.
