Self-Description: So of course, I have a temper, but I think of that as a good thing
(although people who deal with me may disagree, but hey). I'm smart and
obscenely logical, and have no qualms about shoving that in other people's faces
to win arguments. I'm a joker who tends to be wry and self-deprecating, and I
get easily bored by people.
More? I use the words "incredibly", "amazingly", and "obscenely" way too much,
and often in the wrong contexts, but hey, we all have our little quirks. I'm
tired of people who are "alternative without a cause", as I live in an extremely
liberal place where people lean so far to the left they come back around the
right again; as a friend of mine once said, "I'm a moderate liberal, so both
Democrats and Republicans hate me." I assume the worst of people. And the
thing is, I am very rarely surprised.
I have some good qualities, too, but we all like to read about other people's
deficiencies rather than why they're better than us, right? *smile*
Interests: When I was but a little girl, I picked up a copy of The Hobbit and
have been reading fantasy schlock ever since with every evidence of enjoyment..
I've also gotten into dead Russian authors and baseball (Red Sox!), which makes
for an interesting bookshelf. I draw a lot, but I've decided not to pursue this
to art school or any higher level. I do modern dance, at which I am neither
good or bad, but enjoy muchly. I write and stuff too. Basic artsy chick, except
I look like I'd be a ditz and a bit of that has, like, rubbed off onto me,
especially when I talk. Which I do a lot (talk, I mean)
