Self-Description: I have always known that there is a stereotype that goes with
redheads, but wow was it pretty obvious reading through all of the
other redhead bios. There seems to be two different clubs,
though...the introverted shy redhead that does have a temper when
pushed...and the fiery all the time redhead that has passion and temper
coming out of every pore. I would be of the second type. I am fiery
all the time, I am the pusher, I am passionate about all my
values/beliefs, very opinionated and stubborn, loud with high energy,
EXTREMIST in every way, love intelligent debate/confrontation. Cannot
handle stupid people/people who do not introspect/who have not looked
outside the box. I am very confident which can be confused with
arrogance to most people who don't understand me. It takes a special
kind of person to handle my personality and to like me, which is just
the way I like it...I have my own built in people filter.
My degree is in Human Development, I love to skydive, I am a believer
in the 2nd Amendment and practice it every day, I am absolutely against
abortion for any reason (read my website), I am a conservative
Republican - not a compassionate one, I love to talk - am a complete
extrovert (Meyers-Briggs type: ENTJ), topics of a
philisophical-religious-or political nature are my favorites.
I was the only redhead in my family. Though I look very much like my
parents, have a large exteded family that extends in many directions, I
still am not sure which family line my red hair comes from. I know
that I have a Germanic look to me and have been told that my facial
bone structure comes from northern Germany/Denmark from the land of the
Angles/Saxons. I know that my family's ancestory is German, French,
Italian, Irish and English. So, who knows, lots to choose from.
Since I was the only redhead in my family (and the oldest - what a
combination), I was the "handfull". The non-compliant, bossy, loud,
stubborn, opiniated, my way or the highway, competitive, if I can't win
- I won't play kid. It took me a long time to realize that I needed to
file my rough edges down a bit in order to get more of what I wanted
and not be such a disliked outcast. As I get older I do see my
redheadedness changing into something different.
In relationships, I am high-maintenance with a Queen complex. I am
first!
My being a redhead has totally shaped who I am and has defined well who
I have always been. The redheaded nature of me is my constant no
matter what other changes I make.
Children: I have two boys, ages 10 & 7.....I can't believe I am that
old.
