Self-Description: I'm a graduate student at Auburn University in Alabama. I have a
bachelor's degree in Fisheries and Wildlife from Michigan State University. My
husband is a computer programmer. I love the outdoors and animals. At home I
have 4 cats who have taken over the house, but don't mind us living there as
long as they get fed.
I am sometimes moody, always emotional, and often introspective. I am rather
shy unless I know you. I am fond of reading, sewing, web designing, graphic
design, dancing, music, and much more. I am always starting new projects and
trying to teach myself new skills.
I suppose some would consider me a 'dark' individual. I adore horror and
suspense novels and movies. I listen to gothic and industrial music much of the
time, though my musical interests span an extremely broad range. My favorite
clubs are in the gothic/industrial scene. I detest labels, though, and hate
when people classify me based only my appearance and/or what things I like. I
am unique and don't try and fit in with any group just for the sake of 'fitting
in.' I please myself, not others.
People usually see me as being quiet and intelligent. Probably with a healthy
dose of strange thrown in. I think normal is overrated.
Interests: Drawing, digital art, reading, dancing, going out with friends,
learning new things, hiking, skiing, playing soccer and softball, being outdoors
on a beautiful day, animals in general, raptors (the birds), felids, my cats,
music, theatre, gardening, flowers, science, genetics, chemistry, biology,
conservation, the environment, political action, journal writing, and probably
more I'm forgetting.
