Self-Description: I have lived in my quiet little corner of the country for
almost 24 years. I moved from one island (Manhattan!) to the
semi-rural island north of Seattle that I have made my true home. I
came out here two decades ago on a wing & a prayer as a young, single
redhead and found my redhead (especially his beard!) "Prince
Charming". Together, we raised our "Auburn" haired boy on our little
piece of paradise and have sent him off into the world. I feel lucky
to have had a chance to help perpetuate/replentish this world with
another Redhead and to lead a creative life in a beautiful place.
I am an artisan & proprietor --having run my own business of guest
accommodations over the last 16+ years.
Children: One grown son currently in college -He is a fellow redhead
with dark Auburn hair!
Interests: I do quite a bit of community work --being involved in
community is the tie to living in harmony, I believe!
I love to travel, garden and am an avid reader. I have a house full
of pets (sorry if you have any allergies!): 3 BIG dogs, and 4 cats.
We all enjoy walking our beach and checking what treasures might have
recently washed up on the shore--always a surprise...much like life!
More: I have always felt lucky to be a redhead, even though as a
grade-schooler, I was often teased about it ("Better Dead than Red!"
I used to be taunted). Oh well --how could they know at such a young
age how (realitively) rare being a redhead is??
