Self-Description: I'm a 23 year old, curvy redheaded Celtic pagan in CA. I'm married
to a wonderful Scottish husband who is occasionally put out by my
"redheadedness" *laugh* Basically, yeah, I'm moody and quick to anger; but
I do tend to "run hot" in other ways too. *wink* Oh find me 1 person who
can keep up with me... *laugh* I'm also bisexual. I find beauty and love
in both men and women.
Despite all the redheaded insanity, I am careful with my friends and am
always there when people need me. Often helping out even when it is not in
MY best interest. That's the priestess/midwife in me, I guess.
I enjoy nerdy conversations on random topics and have an addiction to
Trivia Pursuit. (Anyone up for a game or ten?) I have two degrees in
English and one degree in Art History. I'm currently working on my PhD in
19th century literature.
I always say that if I were a dog, I'd be a border collie. I'm smart, but
get bored quickly. I'm hyper and need to keep occupied or I become
destructive. Must be able to do 40 things at once... And be the best at
them too. No pressure, right?
Despite all this, I know how to have a "good sit" as my hubby calls it.
Nothing is better than curling up with a nice cup of tea and good book or
a great friend. But I can also enjoy myself clubbing, meditating, camping,
teaching, sewing, writing, dancing, singing, horseback riding, fencing,
swordfighting. Yes, you name it; and I've probably already done it or plan
to. *laugh*
Children: None, yet.
Interests: In no particular order:BOOKS, more books, and MORE BOOKS...
But also Antiques, Everything Victorian, Renaissance faires, quilting,
Harry Potter, books, kilts, costumes, Scotland, Charmed, Buffy the Vampire
Slayer.

More: When I'm not grading my undergrad students' essays, reading way too
much Dickens and Foucault to retain my sanity, or writing long glorious
papers on the Pre-raphaelite movement and Emily Dickinson; I'm generally
procrastinating! Well, by sewing, designing, or repair costumes and/or
quilts (And trying to get laid, truly the never-ending quest!). Oh yeah,
and I'm a doula too!
Occasionally, I escape to Ren faires or by traveling, but not as much as I
wish. One of these days, I'm moving to some bloody place where it actually
RAINS! (Probably Oregon, but I loved living in Scotland... I'm an Ediburgh
girl, sorry Glasgow!)Southern California and pale skin do NOT mix! I have
a very difficult time keeping my "Scottish Tan" from becoming the world's
reddest advertisment for sunscreen failure.
