Self-Description: Hmmm... Having to describe myself is a bit odd, but
I'd have to say that I'm fun, a little shy, just a little
bit stubborn (really!) and I absolutely love to laugh.
I inherited my red hair from my maternal grandmother. She
had three children--none of whom had red hair. Each of
them, though, wound up having one redheaded child apiece!
I didn't like being different when I was little--and HATED
being called "carrot-top." Now, though, I'm quite proud to
be one of the few, thankyouverymuch. In fact, I LOVE being
a redhead--being unique and intriguing to people--how can
you go wrong with that?
My best friend also has red hair--we met in college because
the teacher kept mixing us up! The two of us went to Hawaii
together and you should have SEEN the looks we got! We even
had people taking pictures of us as if we were freaks of
nature. Most were nice about it, but still! We're just
people!
Children: none yet, although I'm a very proud auntie of
five! And I have a polydactyl kitty (each foot has six
toes!) who is IN LOVE with my hair--he loves to nuzzle into
it. He's no fool...
Interests: I love to read, watch movies, take walks, write
in my journal, and listen to music. I am fascinated by
forensic science and by any and all things odd. I love my
boyfriend, my family, my friends, and people that make me
laugh. I am extremely happy and fortunate that I can work
from home as a graphic designer, and I truly love my job.
I also absolutely love bats--they're very misunderstood
creatures and do more good for our world than they're given
credit for. I feel a strong kinship with them and have
made a pact to educate the masses as to how wonderful--and
important--they really are.
