Self-Description: Hi fellow redheads, I'm Jana and I just *love* being a redhead! I'm a full-time student and a part-time barista at a privately-owned drive-thru speciality coffee shop called Coffease. The few people who really know me would say I'm very strong-willed and opinionated. I can easily be stubborn, but remain open to new ideas. I'm very outgoing and sociable--my mom calls me her "social butterfly." I'm modestly witty. I'm sensitive and very forgiving. I've been told countless times how mature I am for my age in my ability to communicate with people. I'm too honest, sometimes for my own good. I tend to get maternal by nature. I've been told I have an infectious smile and positive outlook on life. I have a big heart. I strive to always be a good person. I attend George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, majoring in communications with a journalism concentration. Ideally I'd like to be a broadcast reporter, but any career in journalism would please me.
Interests: I'm addicted to the Internet, especially eBay. I can't spend enough time online. I enjoy a lot of different genres of music, but mostly mainstream musicians like Black Eyed Peas, Coldplay, Nickelback, Switchfoot, Death Cab for Cutie, All-American Rejects, Green Day, The Postal Service, Gwen Stephani, Kelly Clarkson, and so on. I love movies, but not as much as my best friend Tyler who sees movies multiple times in theatres before released on DVD/VHS. Some of my favorites are Meet the Fockers, Sorority Boys, Chicago, Heavyweights, Dead Poet's Society, Moulin Rouge, Pirates of the Carribean, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, Wedding Crashers, What Dreams May Come, 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, When Harry Met Sally, Kiss Me Kate, My Fair Lady, South Pacific, Carousel, and more. I love food and baking goodies. I collect a lot of different perfumes b/c my dad's wife is a perfume chemist. I like Dance Dance Revolution (aka DDR).
More: My name in Arabic means "the Lord is gracious." I have heard 8 different ways of pronouncing my name, but none of them are mine. I am Czech, English, Irish, and German from my mom; Russian, Serian, and Lebanese from my dad. Most people wouldn't guess I get my red hair from a middle eastern father!
