Self-Description: I am easy going and have a good sence of humor. A good dirty
joke will keep me laughing for days. I get along with most people but
stupidity makes me cranky. I have a tendency to speak my mind and call
it as I see it. I am irish and german so my temper can get the best
of me at times. Especially when someone messes with my kids. You mess
with my kids, you mess with me. Most people back down when I get my
dander up because a lot of people are afraid of the red head's temper.
I do use my hair color to get my way. We have all heard the comment,
"I have a thing for red heads" so I use that and find that most of the
time it works. I guess you could say I'm spoiled. Is being spoiled a
bad thing? I don't think so. :)
Children: I have 2 daughters ages 20 and 22.
Interests: I am pretty much a home body. My favorite thing to do is
curl up on the couch with a nice fire in the fireplace and watch a
good tear jerker movie. I guess I'm a romantic at heart. I like to
surf the web and play games with others accoss the net. I am an avid
reader. Give me a good mystery story and you will not see or hear from
me until I find out who did it. My favorite authors are Tami Hoag,
Patricia Cornwell and Nora Roberts. I like to shoot pool and play
darts on occasion but mostly, I stay at home and spend time with my
kids and grandkids whenever I get the chance.
More: My favorite redhead joke is this: What is the definition of a
redhead? A blonde with an attitude. That's me. I can be real smart at
times and be a total dork other times. I detest fake redheads. To me
it's like they haven't paid their dues so they are not entitled to the
benefits of being a true redhead. Only true redheads understand the
mind of another redhead. I hate it when a fake redhead asks me if my
hair color is real. I always give them a nasty look and reply with,
"My hair color i s 100% real." It's like they are jealous of the
attention redheads get so they try for that same attention by dyeing
their hair. I'm sorry to inform you all but that is not how it works.
Redheads are a special breed and one that cannot be duplicated by
dying your hair. They say blondes have more fun. Not true. Redheads
have way more fun than any blonde will ever have. As a kid I used to
beg my mother to dye my hair. Once I bacame a teenager, I discovered
the advantages of being a redhead and now wouldn't give it up for
anything. I am a redhead and proud of it.
