Self-Description: My name is Robin Ann. I'm once divorced, twice married. 2nd &
presently, to my amazing husband, Jimmy. I have one son. His name is Sky,
he's handsome, brilliant & 33 yrs. young - living in Germany, making plans to
marry the love of his life, Nicole. I still maintain a very nice relationship
with my ex-husband who is now married to a 'blonde.' What can I say?
I was
born in Manhattan Bch, CA, lived in Maryland 'til I was 14, moved back to CA &
now, my husband is retiring & we're moving into the home where he grew up in
Galveston, TX - two blks from the beach. Oh & we have our darling Scooter, a
2-yr old 'Fluffy' Pempbroke Welsh Corgi. I worked as a professional in Human
Resources since I was 25 yrs old, specializing in employee relations & worker's
compensation. I got tired of the corporate grind & since I've always LOVED
clothes, SHOES & handbags, I bought a mannequin & began selling high-end
designer clothes on eBay about five years ago. I plan to begin selling on eBay
again after we settle in Galveston.
My Dad was a Flaming, "carrot-top" redhead,
my great-grandmother a fiery redhead & I'm a really RED redhead. My son has NO
red in his hair. My brother does grow a red beard. He has seven children & not
a one is a redhead - go figure! My 10-1/2 months, younger-than-me sister has NO
red in her hair & not a freckle in sight (takes after my Mom). When my son was
born, my mother kept telling me, "Robin, I think he's got some 'strawberry' in
his blonde hair..." Sorry to say, she was just wishing it were so very badly &
as I said earlier, he has NO red in his hair or skin. My skin color has NO
yellow, no olive & it isn't Lily white, but it is RED. I've dyed my redhead
dark brown in the past, because I loved changing my look. I haven't done this
in years, though...and when I have had the 'itch' to change this redhead,
everyone (thankfully) yells at me - "NOOOO...You're such a REDHEAD!!!!" I'm
called RED by many, and IRISH by one friend - though there's not any Irish in
me, that I know of...German-Swiss, primarily. But I was dubbed SCARLETT in 1992
- by three girlfriends I sailed with in the BVI...and that name has stuck with
me ever since...and I rather like it!
I've collected many things throughout my
life...my biggest collection was of Marilyn Monroe. Now, it's
Ann-Margret...who, though not a born redhead, coudn't possibly be anything else
in my opinion. She's everything a redhead should be & her beauty is intriguing
to me...even today. Let's see...don't want to write a book to you...or bore you
to death...so I'll quit - for now. Don't know how I missed this website all
this time!!

Interests: Collecting coins, gaming tokens, anything Ann-Margret, Marilyn
Monroe. Love fashion, love to shop. Love to decorate -- my home & others, by
request. Love to frequent flea markets & estate sales.
