Self-Description: I am one of the largest humans most people have met--6`7" (201cm)
tall, weigh 320 (130kg) and have 54" (138cm) shoulders. Although I am 42
years old I still have all of my hair, which is a mix of light red,
brown red, blond red and white (although I often shave my head). I am of
mixed Basque and Semitic origin, although most people imagine I am
Irish, Scots or some other northern European; I share a certain Celtic
sensibility with those more northerly through the Basque side...after
all, most of us have ancient roots shared in Celto-Iberia...at least
during the last Ice Age, anyway!
To the eye, I am strong and proud, perhaps even kingly, while inside I
sometimes feel like a 14 year old girl (heh!)I am intelligent and make
my living by the quality of my thought. I am loyal, overly empathic,
ethically conservative but otherwise rather radical. I have traveled a
lot, but once again live in the desert where I was born; I am at the
point in my life where I can see myself moving to the seacoast somewhere
green. After many adventures and much success, I find myself at midlife
having watched things fall rapidly apart over the last two years (let us
just say for now it involved betrayal, bankruptcy and death...all of the
ingredients for a classical story). Once the shock settled in (it took
the spare bedroom), I realized that I am now free to change course and
set sail for new adventures...perhaps you will point me the way; better
still, perhaps you are one of the adventures yourself. I am looking to
build a new lifr, and I am looking, too, for a man of substance and
spirit and magic to build a new life with at whatever intensity is
mutually comfortable. Red hair--especially long red hair of a fiery
hue--would be a delicious bonus, but is not required. Although I am HIV
negative and have been safe, my health has suffered a bit recently,
giving me even more of an opportunity to reflect and create a new
future. Having arrived at this point where so many I have loved didn`t
make it, my view of life has become simultaneously practical and
romantic (if you understand that, we just might get along). I have grown
used to being alone in recent years, but feel it`s time to try again to
reach out for friendship--and maybe more.
