Self-Description: I often start self-descriptions with the fact that I'm a
redhead. That goes without saying, here.
As a child, I was precocious and bright. I married young and had three children whom I
eventually gave up for adoption. One of them, in adulthood, found me, and I found the
other two. My youngest son is the only one who has been with me his entire life, and he
currently shows no desire to leave home. That's fine with me because his help with the
chores around here is very much appreciated, and he is the best traveling companion I've
ever had.
We live on the edge of Alaskan wilderness, and on the fringe of American society, where
photography, psychic readings, jewelry crafting and the writing of my memoirs provide
pleasant occupation and occasional income.
Children: one young adult son living at home; one daughter now deceased; another adult daughter and son; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Interests: metaphysics, psychology, video RPGs, animals both wild and tame, learning new stuff and exploring odd, strange and mysterious occurrences.
More: My "website" link goes to a weblog where I have been blogging my memoirs.
My other websites include one where I teach a mental technique for turning pain into
neutral nerve signals (http://folksites.com/painswitch)
and another one where I provide some basic information for do-it-yourself shamanism
(http://folksites.com/shaman).
