Self-Description: I was born bald, adopted at 6 days old and supposedly my parents were
matched to my birth parents, who all have dark hair. Imagine their surprise when
my hair was red when it finally grew in! I hated being a redhead when I was young
- everyone loved and commented on it, which I didn't enjoy (at the time, anyway!).
I told them it was auburn, thinking that was better (it really wasn't auburn
though) ... finally, as I reached high school and college, I learned to love red
hair!
