Self-Description: I am a girl, lady, woman, Mom, and Grandma.I love being each and all those
people. I also love to sing and praise God. Singing pretty much tells you what
I do ---constantly. Oldies, 70's (are those oldies?) praise and worship music,
and celtic stuff. I LOVE the Irish tenors--even met 'em at a Christmas concert
this past December. There's nothing like the twinkle in an Irishman's eye! I
dance too, for the Lord and for my sanity. Moving is something I'm always doing,
usually after a 4 y/o. I'm the one who doesn't work, but is never at home
usually doing something for someone who has no time to do it for themselves. My
hubby of 27 years works at home (shoot me now~:o), so that's become an
interesting twist to life that requires lots of creativity on my part. Add to
the mix my 4 y/o grandbaby, with us some part of six days a week... Wow! He's a
fabo kid with a distinctly red halo just at the crown of his head.
Children: I have 2 wonerful kids, one of each. My lovely 24 y/o daughter,
chestnutty in her head, is a bright, number cruncher fo a major HMO. She's the
Mom of Ty and married herself for 5 1/2 years! My second kiddo, Joe, is learning
to be a grown up, 21 this month. In school to network these maniacal machines we
all love so, he cohabits w. Tiffany--not a redhead yet, but we're working on
that one!
Interests: I sew, decorated cross stitch when I have the time and patience, fix
stuff around the house, counsel and help out wherever I'm needed besides singing
and dancing through life! I love to cook, and just generally love the"womanly"
arts we sometimes have to overlook to accomplish what's best for our families at
the time.
More: We haven't always had the best or most but I've chosen to stay home with
the kids. I've been an honest to goodness Nanny, and done just lain ol'
childcare. Life is a self-fulfilling oddyssey, and I'm always on the lookout
for a new adventure! I've also had a LOT of abdominal surgery, but am now
learning to eat and digest like the normal person. Any ?'s, just ask 'em...
