Self-Description: I'm a twenty something kiwi girl who loves contradictions. I live
chaotically, but am religious about making 'to do' lists. I'm short
tempered but easygoing, and fickle but faithful. I'm told I'm too
private and sometimes mysterious, and simultaneously that I give too
much away. I speak Maori, and am learning Japanese and Mandarin. I like
dance music, and a wide variety of literature, either perverse fiction,
or equally odd non. I'm a connoisseur of trash and not-so-trash cinema--
as long as it's obscure and made with love, I'll adore it. I love
kitsch. I love subtlety. I love cowgirls. I love my partner. Writing,
art, and exoticism excite me. And as Iggy Pop said: 'I love my beer, I
love my bread, I love my job, I love my head.'
