Gastoney - For starters, I am entrepreneurial and creative. I used to be a professional photographer, until I realized that my "tastes" were expensive. I still shoot scenics today and my favorite medium is a silhouette. I typically take the road less traveled, though I am extremely considerate to others needs and wants. I lived in Tokyo for two years, and enjoy traveling to one new country per year. Recent destinations have included Chile, St. Croix, and the French Riviera (a business trip would you believe!). I like to search for antiques, often taking day trips to middle of nowhere towns. Favorite destinations: Madison, IN, and Milan, OH. I have a decent business background and love to create things that have never been done before. I keep in shape, primarily playing golf, softball and working out on the Monon Trail with my dog, Edison. I have also been known to excercise with a wine glass filled with Chardonay over dinner.
bluzen - I would say I am quiet and thoughtful during most hours of the day. I am six-foot tall with an athletic build. I enjoy a good game of tennis &/or a run and a short bout with the weights. I don't usually require much attention. It is nice to be noticed, but I would rather be invited than to invite myself. I like to keep people guessing. Meaning I don't lay all of my cards out on the table at once. Although surprise &/or mystery can sometimes be difficult within a relationship, I feel that in the long run it makes for a much more interesting life together. The greatest gift in my life is the privilege to help my children grow through and in this world with a sense of beauty, creativity, confidence and respect.
Joni - The hardest thing for me to do is describe myself... I am fun-loving, exude energy, with a happy-go-lucky attitude. I always look at the bright side (a friend calls me "Ms Opti") and usually play devil's advocate when the gossip comes my way. No matter how I feel, I always wear a smile and when asked how I'm doing, I respond, "any better I couldn't stand it", which is why Jenn calls me "perky". I don't take life too seriously, but I also have my you've-gone-too-far side, which causes people to think I'm totally irrational. Car repairmen and customer service folks seems to get me there a lot faster than others, and you can be sure, I WIN or I take my service elsewhere, for the rest of my life! This package seems to work for me, so I doubt I'll do any changing.
Lori - I am 33 years old. I am adopted and when the social worker called my parents to tell them they were getting me, she told them they were getting a strawberry blonde. Boy were they suprised when they saw me for the first time with bright red hair. I am a very, very outgoing person but I also love to spend time indoors. Family and friends are very important to me, and I spend alot of time with them.

I love traveling and consider myself very adventurous, to the point that I have traveled to Australia with only me, myself and I. I am very open-minded. I am extremely intuitive and because of this I am very rarely wrong about a person, be they male or female....
I do alot of soul-searching and am always trying to find the place where I belong.. Being an Air Force brat has given me the courage to explore new places but has also made me feel like a gypsy more often than not.
Amethyst - I am an outgoing college student studying Ballet and Modern Dance for the 14th year now. I am 5'7 110 lbs. and I have never been seen not wearing something with bright vibrant colors. I drive a silver 2000 Neon and it has zebra striped seats striped seats and everything zebra for accesories to math. My Jack antenna ball has red pig tails and a zebra cowboy hat.

Cynthia - Formerly highly ambitious, and I still am in a way. But I finally figured out that a normal life was what I really needed. So, even in that context, I'm clever, creative, sometimes driven, sometimes lazy. I find myself often in the diplomatic role both in work, play and family life. I also fall into roles where I lead and manage, but then find myself overwhelmed and flit on to something else, just leaving behind a legacy of organization before pouncing on my next challenge. I go through a cycle where I know myself, then lose myself and then have to go figuring out whom I've become again. I'm currently in the bottom of that cycle as I just became a mom, something I wasn't sure I'd ever do, but something I'll never regret that I did. Despite hovering around things that would make me seem extroverted, I'm really terminally shy to the point where it gets detrimental to what I want to achieve.
glassysurf - I am a very shy type of person. It usually takes me a while to warm up to someone and trust them, but after I trust someone, I will be their friend forever. I am unpredictable. I am very nutty (or so everyone says) and I am a perfectionist. One of my worst pet peeves is closed minded people.

nicejerk - I live in Los Angeles. I recently moved here from a small hick town in Oregon where I grew up. I am in college full time, although I have dropped out and re - enrolled several times. I spent the last year in Phoenix at a Mechanic's school where I received an Associate's degree. I work as a mechanic. I delivered pizza at night until I got fired for... well that's another story. I am A.S.E. Master Certified in automotive repair, and T1 certified (Truck: diesel engines).
cblue76 - I am searching for something in my life right now, which is this, constantly trying to improve my outlook on life, awareness in general, and personality. I love animals, but sometimes have a difficult time with the prejudices of humanity. My first loves are spirituality, art, and my boyfriend, who has been a huge blessing in my life. My name is pronounced "Ash-ling" and I've had such a hard time with people saying it incorrectly and then not listening to me when I tell them how to say it the right way. It's a Gaelic name which means "vision/dream" and it fits me well, since I'm an artist of Irish descent.
Deedee - I am extremely sensitive and intuitive, and more often than not, can read people like books. I pride myself on being warmhearted and caring, but self-protective on the same token. I guard my feelings and am not quick to share the intensity of my emotions with just anyone. I have a few close friends and I like it that way. It is hard for me to make true friends as I am hesitant to share my true self with people...I hate to get hurt! I have a great sense of humor and I love to laugh.

I'm a good conversationalist, and I enjoy intelligent, random, and silly conversation. I'm compassionate to a certain degree, but not all that sensitive. And uh.. I'm pretty neat...I guess that's it.
iceblink - I am a short creative woman who is married. Yes I have red hair. I come from a family of redheads, it is pretty common. Other things to know about me, I like to read and write. I have been in a relationship with my husband for 10 years although we have been married only 1 year and 6 months. Although I work forty hours a week, I try to take two classes a quarter at the local Communtiy College. I live in one of the most diverse and regions in the country, the San Francisco Bay Area. I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. Distance is not a problem since the Internet came along.
Barbie - I work in an elementary school teaching children with learning disabilities. Ironically, spelling is not my strong point. I love working with children, yet I don't want any of my own at this point. I am fanatical about Barbie dolls and the color purple. I love hard rock-especially Van Halen. I feel like I'm a pretty down to earth person who also keeps a mysterious side. I'm also a bit of an obsessive/compulsive person who has to check the alarm clock at least 20 times in a row before going to bed.
