I have an 'arts' background, but I am currently pursuing a degree in Accounting (up pops the Virgo). I desperately wish that I could sing like Billy Holiday, but am utterly tone deaf. I am of average height, a bit too skinny, and religious about sunscreen. I love to travel, read, eat, and shop. I am terrified of spiders, but I adore lightning bugs. Kickstart - I'm a computer geek from Canada working (at this writing) for a geek comic strip. Mostly I just make numerous failed attempts at making life calm and mellow, but the fact that I keep trying makes me A) persistant or B) just plain crazy. Of course, it could be that all the other people around me are conspiring to make my life much more difficult and convoluted...the more I think like that the more I think it's true. I'm one of those rare and pained people who is both logical and artistic, constantly at odds with myself. I prefer to be a generalist, not an expert in any field, however my wallet is screaming at me so I may have to pick a path and follow it. If I won the lottery the first thing I'd buy is a limo ride to the bank to cash the cheque, just like any fool would. Second? Probably travel. I've done much of the west side of North America but have so far failed to get myself across any oceans.

Spunky1 - I was a redhead when being red wasn't cool. It didn't bother me or my self-esteem. I'm easy going, but when I've had enough my red-headed temper will flair. However, I'm extremely patient for the children I teach. I am devoted to them and love every minute I share with them. My one pet peeve is stupid people. I think everyone has the right to be stupid, but there are so many abusing the privilege.
TSnak - I guage my life experiences by those lives which have intersected with my own. I cherish ALL of those people who have challenged me to be a better person...through love, encouragement, self-investment, sharing, or frustration, heartache and disappointment. I once heard someone explain their perputually 'positive outlook' as such, "I don't care about anything enough to let it ruin and entire day." If you are just talking about 'things', I suppose I can agree...but if that includes people, that's such a sterile and depraved way to live (in my opinion). Relationships are my life's blood, interaction and connection are my goals...I'm constantly making mistakes in relationships, but the adventure of learning to love and be loved is my career/living (I only have a job to pay my bills...*smile*).
casperwhite - Hello everyone! I am from a family of redheads and we all LOVE having red hair. I have the nickname "Casper" because I am white and friendly. I have always been known to have an extremely positive/outgoing attitude and love to hang out with my family and friends! I enjoy being outdoors as much as possible and always look forward to planning my next trip abroad where ever that may be! I am thoroughly enjoying my life as a teacher and feel blessed that I am surrounded by the best family and friends anyone could ask for.
Justinr - Unlike most redheads I am an extremely laid back individual. In fact I was once told at work "Justin you are so laid back it's a wonder you are not asleep". Fortunately (or not) this is often the case. In fact it is only my little sister (herself with gorgeous auburn hair) that can rile me enough to raise my temper. I use the word apathy a lot and like most virgos tend to be a bit critical. But that is all I will say as a typical English bloke I am not prone to the americanisms most descriptions here are prone to.
FearFactor - I'm still in my teens. And I've always been a morbid and depressed sort of person, but I think I've gotten more so than ever. I like gothic/industrial music, and not only is it my favorite genre but it also goes with the morbid persona;) although I must confess that I do have the guilty pleasure of occasionally listening to upbeat rock or dance music (i.e. Robbie Williams, Sportfreunde Stiller, Clabbergirl). As for the redhead thing: Mine is natural, I've never died my hair. I get it from my dad. I'm the only redheaded kid in my family,and he was the only redheaded kid in his family. Now most of his sisters dye theirs red. When I was a kid I never really noticed my hair color. Although my hair always seemed to be the first thing people noticed about me. Kind of like my sisters' blue eyes are always the first thing people notice about her I guess.

Lafay - I think one word would sum me up nicely. Neurotic. Yes, I'm completely neurotic, but oh so much fun! A few of my favorite things would be dogs, photography, art, movies and music. I love to be entertained. Most of my joy is derived from visual stimulation, since my mind is often too foggy to handle the intellectual stuff. Do I really need to say that? MJ - A woman who can be as at ease in tennis shoes and jeans as I am in heels and evening dresses. A perfectionist with my work, having the art of "little patience " fine tuned, as in I wanted it yesterday. A southern lady, born and bred in the state of Georgia. Tis my grandfathers Irish blood that courses my veins and lends me my fiesty temperment as well as my red hair. This blends in well with my passion---- I have to feel the passion in life--- in my work, in my relationships--- without passion there is a mere existance. I adore chldren and old people--- they are both often overlooked and the only ones in our society you will find dirty because they cannot keep themselves clean. I love good music and candlelight with slow dancing in the kitchen.
valkchick - I am a fun loving, brutally honest, slightly sarcastic 32 year old widow who is also the mother of an 11 year old genius. Yes, I know that most people think and say thier child is a genius, but mine actually is a genius. I love to spend time with people I know, however I detest crowds of people I don't know. I hate traffic, which is not good when you live in Houston with 4 million other people. I am a financial planning geek, I actually have a Masters in Biology, yes I have noticed that my degree has nothing to do with my profession. I prefer to stay home with a good book and a bubble bath on a Saturday night as opposed to going to crowded bars, restaurants or parties. I will do just about anything for those I love and trust, but if my trust is ever broken, completely broken, I will never regain that trust. I make my best effort to treat others the way I would like to be treated. As far as I am concerned, pain heals, Super Soaker fights *are* a normal way to wake someone up on Saturday morning, family is not necessarily those people with whom you are genetically bonded, and being a mother is the greatest gift I have ever received, yes it is a gift.
Bellarosa - When I was growing up I used think was a "freak" because of my redhair. But now that I have grown up, I have found the beauty of my "redness" and it has made me a unique and recognizable person. I have turned my hair into a treasure, and no longer have hang ups about it. I am my gorgeous, outgoing, fun loving self!I love people and love to talk, maybe a little too much :).
emmaleen - for the most part i am rather quiet and soft spoke, but at any given time i can turn into a bitch if provoked. when i first meet people i tend to be rather shy, but once i get to know someone they may have a hard time shutting me up. i have my own ideas and refuse to change my beliefs to please anyone. i'm straight edge which means i don't drink, smoke, or do any drugs.

Flower - I am a computer geek and spend almost all my time working on my computer, my web page, and misl other programing projects as they arise. I also help people fix thier machines when I'm needed. I have been single for 3 years, and I'm not looking to change that any time soon. I started in Europe, moved to Cali., then off to Virgina, then Maryland, and then somehow now I've ended up in Alaska, and soon I will be moving to Seattle :) finally... robyndb - I am many things but above all, I'm a mother and a wife. Family is very important to me and I'm probably one of those annoying people who say "my kids are..." when you ask me how I am ;-). Seriously, my family is my top priority but I have other facets as well. I like to think I'm kind and compassionate. As for a more detailed description of me...I'm fairly short, obviously red hair (and finally love it...hated it as a child), I have a Bachelors degree in English & American Literature and Psychology (I double majored but haven't done much with either discipline). Oh yeah...I'm also a soccer mom (minus the minivan!!...I have a huge truck instead)...you can always find me at a soccer practice or game.

I am tall, 5'11, and therefore stand out in a crowd for more than just my red hair! I love reading, and spending time with my boyfriend, but, on the other hand I love going out and partying as much as possible! I have always liked having red hair, but never as much as I do now, we are a minority and should be proud!! Stefanie - My name is Stefanie and I am almost 16 years old. I'm going to be a junior in high school and I plan to study law in college. I'm short and petite -- only a few inches over 5 feet and about 120 lbs. My hair is pretty long, a few inches past my shoulders. It's naturally curly and I usually wear it natural, except sometimes I'll straighten it. Not only am I a perfectionist, but I have a pretty firey temper. I'm quick to get in disagreements and slow to back down (even if I know I'm wrong).
Flip - I was born a redhead to parents with dark hair. Ever had anxiety as a child that you were adopted? I was known for my fiery temper and emotional outbursts. Better stay out of my way! As an adult I learned about the Spirit-controlled temperament. What a difference Jesus Christ makes. Now one of the first words people use to describe me is "gentle man."
ReddHott007 - Ok well I should probably start this off my introducing myself. I'm Jenn and I'm 18 (almost 19). I have 2 tattoos (butterfly on my lower back and *Goddess* on my foot). I'm also into piercings but don't have any cuz I need to keep a job. In the past I've had my lip, nose, belly...and I think that's it. Oh and I love being a redhead. I used to hate it but once i turned about 15 or 16 i realized that redheads have alot of power over guys. It's kind of cool. We have a mysterious side to us just because no one knows what to expect and there aren't too many out there (compared to blondes/brunettes). The only thing I don't like about my hair color is that it means that I can't tan, but oh well, at least we still get the cool nicknames like Red and Fire.
SweetestMeg - A description of who I am consists of many different ideas I think. I'm a complex person that many fail to grasp. At the same time, I'm open enough that people can relate to me on many levels. See, I told you I'm complex I just described myself in two completely different ways. I'm a girl with an agenda to say the least, and I have definite expectations for things. Guys (boyfriends) tend to think that's a bad trait, but it's the same trait that allows me to excel in academics, music, and just about every other aspect of my life so as far as I'm concerned that's just a cop out for a person who is intimidated and incapable of pleasing me...and they know it. Sorry to seem bitter but right now I am! I probably shouldn't be filling this thing out when I'm pissed off about stuff but I guess that gives you a little insight of the temper of a red head!
Serephim - I am a very honest person and this sometimes gets me into trouble as I say things without thinking. I am sometimes described as being very dominant of other people but really I am a big softy. I have the "typical redhead" temper, very fiery. I live with my boyfriend in the South West of England and work at the local newspaper. I am a vegetarian because my boyfriend is and I don't miss meat at all.I like to think I am mysterious and I am definately extroverted.
fireyesblue - Here's the story of a lovely...or wait, that's not me. I'm a 19 year old college student at Virginia Polyte--screw it, VA Tech. I'm a computer addict so I'm having a go at a computer science major. Programming is not fun. I am working full-time during this summer. I am also quite boring :) As for the rest of my physical appearance (oh the humanity), I am too freakin' short (5'3") and my hair is long and wavy (if you ask me what color, I'll request that you seek professional help for your mental deficiency) and er...I have knees? Anywho. I also enjoy long walks on the beach and poetry...and making fun of really cheesy things such as what you just read.
WeezerGeek - I'm an art student at the Rhode Island School of Design majoring in Painting. Even though I'm rocking the east coast now, I'm a native Oregonian with a soft spot for local patrons such as really old trees, ridiculous amounts of rain and beavers. I get straight As, don't smoke or drink and respect my parents. I do swear, though, which I guess releases me from the "wanker" category. I drive a tan 1985 Chevy Celebrity station wagon with the windows down and the system up. :D
JPeteQ - I was born with very red hair that lightened as I grew to strawberry blond. I have the typical red-head complexion, with blue eyes, freckles, and the tendency to turn bright scarlet at the touch of the sun or the slightest embarrassment. I have a slight build, 5 feet, 4 inches tall, and slender-ish. I have horrible eyesight, being very nearsighted, I can't see anything more than a foot away without contacts or glasses. I also have very small feet. A fact that may be unnecessary, except for the fact that I have a horrible time finding shoes, which I love, for prices that I can afford, being a starving college student. (So far Nordstrom is the best place in terms of sizes and quality, however due to their prices, I can only shop half as often as I'd like.)
booburns - I am 19 years old and currently attending college. What for, I have no idea! I'm thinking of nursing, but it may too hard and seeing as I am a little lazy, I may have to rethink that. I'm known for being a great listener, and good with advice. I've always been 'one of the guys', which leads to great friendships, but not too many great relationships, because what guy wants to date 'one of the guys'? I have a bit of a temper, but am learning to control it. I am an animal lover but currently only have one cat. Hoping to get a dog soon. I love any kind of music and all movies and I'm pretty much open to anything.
ygthb - I must be crazy. I work 60+ hours a week. I take home less than most. I am an entrepeneur. It is not all bad, I work from my home, see my kids all the time. Get to be involved in all kinds of new projects. And follow my fancy.
Amy Woods - Most people describe me as the nicest person they have ever met. I love people and love talking. I think that I am a pretty crazy, but most people just think I am intense. I am a brand new mom and I love it. Having my son was and still is the most spiritual journey I have ever had. Um.. That's pretty much it.
Dana Scully - Secretly many refer to me by other names that rhyme with witch. However, I consider myself confident, stern, and tenacious. I don't take no as an answer but a challenge. I expect everyone to work as hard as I do, and I accept nothing less. I enjoy being around people and helping them out. I tend to be the neighborhood psychologist as well as paramedic. No matter how well people know me they feel compelled to tell me their life's story and deep dark secrets. I missed my calling as a talk show host. I have an annoying habit of connecting obscure pieces of information together and creating connections. I have the knack for finding problems in logic faster than others, which in my boys club of an occupation gets me in trouble. Speaking of trouble, I am in it alot. I tend to open my mouth too soon and never sugar coat the message. I am terribly honest and have no patience for stupidity or laziness. I am bossy, demanding, vindictive, mouthy, and always jumping in to defend the weakest link. Remarkably, I am even tempered. I will take a great deal of grief before losing my temper. However, when you cross that line, heaven help you!
xtal - I am a very independent and opinionated person. I have learned to value others' opinions (even if they are wrong!) I enjoy the small things in life and love to
laugh. I also like making other people laugh, and can find humor in just about any situation. I like
being silly, and am sometimes loud and obnoxious. I believe that happiness is a decision,
and that although you can never control what happens to you, you can ALWAYS control your reaction
to the situation. I am a Christian and believe that God gives us the power to make life anything
we want it to be!
LuckyGirl - A little about me, I am 25 and live just outside of Atlanta, Ga. I work for a car dealership and I love what I do. I am pretty laid back and enjoy having fun but also know when to be responsible. My hair is pretty long, it's down to the middle of my back now and still growing! I have my own place and a new car. I enjoy time to myself but also like to socailize a little. I tend to be pretty upbeat and positive although I do have my days just as everyone else does. I can be spontaneous. I am a pisces and tend to be pretty tolerent of others but I don't let anyone walk all over me. I will speak my mind and I have been known to be blunt at times. I just want to enjoy life and live it to it's fullest!
redelicious - I am a free spirited south paw, and I live by the need to express myself artistically. I love to sing and play guitar, and I also draw and love to write poetry and lyrics. I am very spiritual and really connected to God as my higher power. I am in recovery from alcoholism and I find that the best relationships are those in which I can be truthful and always be myself. I care about human rights and animal rights, and I want to change our environment for our children, so they are left with some sort of life. I like the outdoors and although I find that I spend too much time on the internet that I want to broaden my horizon and start walking around Los Angeles more and meeting new and exciting new people.
SolarGirl - I was born into a family with dark hair and dark skin so this definately made me stand out. I was born with bright red hair so red it was almost orange. The entire hospital was amazed. It was then that I aquired nicknames such as carrot top and red. Being a redhead is part of who I am. I am fiery, independent, opinionated, sweet, artistic, individualistic, sarcastic, sassy, kind and loud. I would do anything for a friend or family member but when it comes to my enemies watch out. I am very opinionated and sarcastic and that sometimes gets me into trouble. I can have a temper but only when I am extreamely mad. But when it comes down to it I am a nice person who would avoid hurting others at all costs. My friends say being a redhead is who I am and even if I were ever to dye my hair I would still be a redhead at heart. I would never dye my hair. Being a redhead is part of who I am and I could never change that.
kuteepeye - After having gone through life being called "Carrot Top", "Strawberry Shortcake" and being teased and snapped at with the whole "red-headed step child on Sunday" thing (oh did I mention the self tinting glasses, braces and generally awkward thing?!) I have become quite non-judgmental for the most part. Teasing for years and years will do that to you. It certainly keep the ego in check. My hair was bright red when I was a baby and everyone thought I was a boy so my Mother always dressed me in pink. Funny how people still don't get the clue...I still don't wear much pink. =) My hair has lightened up considerably as I have gotten older and I tan fairly well. Ultimately I am very grateful for how things have ultimately turned out. I have never dyed my hair.
Acheron - I'm a free thinker - i.e. I consider myself free to think anything I want about anything or anyone - what I choose to say compared to what I think, on the other hand, is a guarded secret. In general, however, I say what I think and people pretty well have to deal with it. I made a promise to myself years ago that I would never answer a person's question dishonestly. Not that I used to be a pathological liar and wanted to change, rather that I was tired of playing games to suit people's insecurities. I'm creative, and intelligent - some people feel threatened by this but I make efforts to be friendly with everyone, regardless of their abilities or leanings... I've found that many of the people I know stick with people who are just like them. I've ended up knowing people of all kinds from all strata and background. Bringing them together at parties is entertaining and it doesn't always work, but sometimes interesting minglings occur.
Phoenix - I'm a full time university student, majoring in geology and chemistry. Yes, that means I look at rocks, and no I don't find them boring LOL. I'm planning to work hopefully in an environmental aspect of geochemistry, and if you want to know more, just ask. I have a strange sense of humour, and love all "strange" comedies like Red Dwarf (ironic I spose here), and a whole heap of others I can't think of at the moment...... :-) I'm a very easy going person, whose personal motto is "No regrets", and I believe that you should do everything you want to now, because you never know what might happen to prevent you from doing them later.

RedModel - Mostly, I focus on work, which is modeling, acting and writing! I was proud to pose in Playboy Magazine as one of their only natural redheads within the past decade. The red hair is slightly a mystery ~ my mom is blonde, and my dad has almost black hair ~ but my background is Northern Italian, Irish and Danish, so the Vikings must have done it! I love writing (I'm the resident advice columnist for www.dresses.com), reading, animals... generally, I'm laid back and love to hear from others :o).
