I play guitar in an alternative rock band that my friends and I formed called "Brialle Illustrated." Needless to say, I have a very strange sence of humor. I am very skinny, and about 6 feet tall. I own a 1959 Volkswagen Beetle "Fritz" that I am currently restoring. I am in love with Volkswagens but, may be considered a general car guy on the side. I also enjoy music. The music I like the most fits in the "alternative rock" genre which pretty much died around 1997. I ADORE the Smashing Pumpkins! (pun intended) Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails are amung others admired. Free time. Or lord the sterotypical destructions of teenage activity. Well, I like to indulge in the act of "urban exploration." Setting foot in any interesting abandoned building just makes me feel my oats if you will. I also enjoy smashing shopping carts into things and throwing televisions off of roofs. Maturity abounds. I do not, however, engage in any kind of "self destructive" behavior (i.e. smoking, drinking, drugs.) This I am very proud of. Oh yeah, I also enjoy reading and writing.

Ive been married for 7 yrs...my husband came in and thought....wow...shes got red hair..and we met from then...gotta love those suckers for reds... I am a perfectionist, and always try to succeed in everything I do, even if that includes re-organizing the baskets in the parking lot of the supermarket! Sinny86 - Well, here goes. I have a job that requires me to break things in order to fix them. You figure it out. I used to live in Northern Vermont which was beautiful, but a little isolated (just five miles from Canada...brrr). Being in DC, I miss country life, but I have found that Capitol Hill is like a quaint little country town with rats. No, really, it is great. There is something to be said for living in a city as though you were still in a small town.
curlytop - I am a very independant woman, I love to laugh and have fun... I just now realized how to reallly enjoy what God gave, I used to get teased alot in school about my freckels, but now everyone pays good money to get the color of hair that is all natural. Have a very strong opinion of what I like and what I want in life and will not bend on it..love life to the fullest, and will always love life...
Mac - I am the antithisis of the stereotype...now. I allow very few things to bother me...life is too short. Either fix it or ignore it and move on. I was a wild kid, though...in a good way, never mean or destructive, but a blast to be around. We mellow as we age...I figure that I am about 35 in attitude and libido and plan to hover there for the forseeable future.
kalvint - I am an open person. I believe that life is what you make it, and so far so good. I spent some time in the Marine Corps, so I had travelled a little. I try to have fun no matter what I am doing, whether it is work or play. I consider myself to be an average person, yet I wonder why so many people seem to be self absorbed. I don't watch much TV, but enjoy a little relaxing once in a while.

CocteausTwin - I am someone who always trys to look at life from more than one vantage point. I think there is an inescapable beauty in the universe and it is always there to be appreciated. I tend to be a very close friend and confidant. Though it may not be apparent here, I beleive that words can have an elegance when given the proper attention and motivation. My empathic ability allows me to connect with others at a depth that seems to be very rare in the "general" population. I come from a family of four redheaded Aquarii, so that certainly can bring aboput a different view of life.
Star_Belly - Well I'm shy when I first meet a person. But then we start to talk and they find out I'm weird and a little crazy sometimes. I love my cats. I adore the bands Hole, Nirvana, Veruca Salt, Joydrop, Garbage and some others. I play guitar, not very well but I try. And I do enjoy having red hair:) Except it can be tricky to find other shades of red to dye it to.. I want to go blonde sometimes... but red is me.
snowbdr88 - I started snowboarding about 16 years ago, and I have been teaching snowboarding for about 11 years now. It's what I live for. I love riding. I've been fairly lucky so far... no extremely serious injuries, just a blown out knee (torn ACL), separated shoulder (3rd degree) and a slight (3 day) coma.
I'm something of an adrenaline junkie, so I usually do things that have a fairly large risk, to get the rush afterwards. I also have a Katana 600 street bike, which I typically ride at excessive speeds.
Aweebitotheirish - I am a 47 year old grandmother tho folks tell me I don't look my age. I love being a redhead, tho growing up was tough always being teased. I do have a temper tho it has mellowed with age and I have learned to pick my battles more carefully. lol I am an avid online gamer mostly playing on POGO. Qnwench - I am a redhead.. typical in that I have a nasty nasty temper if I get pushed that far. Normally there is a warning growl before that happens! I have a song in my heart at all times and sometimes it bursts out of me at odd and embarassing moments.. like at the grocery store listening to the MUSAK, while shopping. flamingredhead4u - I don't know how many times a day I hear especially from the guys "Ilove your red hair". I love my red hair also and it's fun to aks people if they know the reputation of redheads. I am a animal lover especially big dogs like labs. Even though I have 2 cats right now Alex that kinda adopted us instead of the other way around and Chip who I got from a rescue society. Build, Nice but Bitchy Attitude....LOL Sweet & easy to get along with once you get to know me. Of course i have all the freckles like any other Red Heads.... And to be a lil more personal...like some Red Heads..some of us are gifted with a Large Chest... LOL but I'm not complaining.

RedheadedKris - I'm 29 years of age... 5'5" 120 lbs. I'm very loyal and caring about my family and friends. Have been told that I'm bossy (who me?) and very opinionated. Have to have things my way most of the time. I'm definately someone who likes being in the center of things. As for the "famous redheaded temper" I definately have one... depending on the day it might take a while to set it off or just a look.

would have more! My daughter is a redhead..she gets freckles and wishes that she had less!!!! I am at home in jeans and sweatshirt but also have a clset full of dresses and high heels! I love wearing teals, greens...dark forest greens, black, browns and even bright, lipstick RED!
cherrymalone - I'm quite the intellectual kind as reading and writing are an enjoyable hobbies of mine. I have a crazy sense of humor and I'm very down to earth. I do have a temper at times especially towards those that deserve it. My biggest pet peeve is dishonesty and people who ask me if I'm really a natural redhead. I had such a wild imagination as a kid and thought that my cousins and I were switched at birth because my Aunt is a redhead and my Mother is a brunette. I'm very proud to be a redhead and any redhead that I meet on the street is an ancestor in one form or another.
Pam - I'm a quiet person on first meeting, and then the humor begins! I inherited my parent's dry sense of humor, and have had fun with it my entire life....and that includes practical jokes. I do my best to restrain myself from anything that is too wild, but.... it's not easy!!! I'm also practical, down to earth, have old fashioned values and believe that family comes first and foremost.
LynneChapman - I consider myself a shy person although I love people and enjoy being with them. I also value my alone time. As a hairdresser and as an administrative assistant at my church I get to meet alot of people. This is why I love both jobs. I also write about hair for an internet magazine. In my forum and via email I have met many people and had the opportunity to help many of them with advice on hair care. I love doing this and have made many friendships on the web.
narcissa - I hate it when people assume that I have a short temper just because I am a redhead. Of course, I DO have a short temper, but that's my own business. I am a shower blues singer and a writer of half-stories. I am married and have a son who didn't get the red hair, but got the temper. Music is my time machine, and I am a nostalgic freak.
inferno - i am a 29 yr-old 6' 190 lb ball of fire.... i tend to take most things in my life to extremes. when i play, i play hard and play to win. when i work, i don't quit until i think its perfect. i'm very stubborn by nature, but also very patient. my typical redhead temper is gone after having it get me into too much trouble in my youth. i'm very outgoing, energetic, and vocal, striking up conversations with strangers regularly just to pass the time or because someone looks interesting.
Luminosity - Hey! I'm a 15 y/o ragin' redhead w/ the wits of someone twice my age. I'm outspoken and I have a dry-witty sense of humor that most can't deal with. I'm very outgoing, up front, logical, open minded, smart, cynical and sarcastic. Definately spontaneous.. and being a capricorn, I'm usually pretty hard-headed. I'm one of the girls that have always hung out with the guys. (With 6 older brothers, you can imagine) I dont have much of a tolerance for other teenage girls around my area. Them being ignorant and naive, too sweet 'n girly.. it just gets on my nerves. :) I come off as being a tough girl on the outside..piss me off and you'll see a temper rise like you've never seen before.. but on the inside I can be very passionate and affectionate.
BeatnikOnAVespa - I'm rather witty. I treat my friends well. I try to practice random acts of kindness. I love vespas, go-go boots, Austin Powers, and anything mod or 60s. I ask people obscure questions. I'm always up for a party. I love to dance around the house to bad pop music. My favourite redhead is Agent Scully. I try not to take life too seriously, but am actually quite sensitive. Making other people happy makes me happy.
supernova_green - I'm a slightly nutty full-time student at a small arts college in the midwest. I spend my time translating ancient Greek when I'm not singing or working in theater- I've come to grips with the fact that I won't earn any money once I leave school (not that I'm earning any money now...) I tend to be a little crazy and impulsive, idealistic and a great listener. redmeka - Finally...All those years of being teased about my red hair paid off...lol. I am a 27 yr. old Teacher that works with underprivledged children and a former bartender (5 years) who still moonlights as one on the weekends...So, obviously I work alot but I have three wonderful pets too go home to! My dogs Tank a 2 yr old, 152 lb. Rottweiler and Wolf a 1 yr old Husky/Wolf mix. Also my one eyed cat, Jones...All three were rescued from abused homes. Now they are spoiled rotten and run my household!
Curlyredlox03 - I am all of 5' nothing. I'm a fiery redhead with a fiery temper when I'm angry. Although sometimes on the wild side, I would rather sit at home with my husband-to-be and cuddle and be loved. For the most part when I'm not angry, I'm a non-confrentational person. Lizz - I was born and raised in Southern New Hampshire. I got into drawing in middle school and my interest in writing and acting came about during high school. I was on the newspaper staff and took the TV production course. I self-published three books after high school, have been pursuing photography, and started acting last year. I have, as of July 11, been in four movies (three shorts and am in the middle of one feature). I have recently delved head on into acting and hope to do it professionally very soon.

I'm from Winter Haven, FL but have lived here in Tallahassee for almost 15 years. I've been teaching at a local preschool for over 12 of those years. I became a married man in February of '01 when I got hitched to my wife Kathe. We now have our first child on the way. (Due next Feb.) The sources of my greatest joys are my wife and my job.

Well, I am fairly intelligent, I can intimidate men, and my sex drive, um, use your imagination :o) I'm a 20 year old woman resuming in the upstate NY area (curious, just ask). Besides my lovely red hair, I have green eyes and lots of freckles! (not surprising coming from a red head, huh?) I also have several body piercings, and I'm working on getting a tattoo. Oh yeah, I'm short, only about 5'1", so don't mistaken me for a leprechaun on St. Patty's day!
Freya - I think of myself as an intelligent person, an individual, not following crowds or labeling myself as something that everyone else is. I think love is a major factor in my life, and i need that more than anything. I'm very loyal, loving, and respective of others' feelings and beliefs, though no one can make me believe in something unless i choose to. I love reading, especially horror and history, some nietszche. I tend to spend most of my time living on the "dark side", letting everyone hate me because i don't agree with their mindless ways, but i can also be very funny. i do love to laugh and make others laugh, and i tend to do that alot with people im comfortable with, (im also shy). michael1975 - I am a very laid back and easy going person. I am usually smiling and love life in general. I am often inquisitive and love to learn. Making the most of life is what I love to do, no matter what it is. I never thought of myself as a redhead until maybe the last few years. My facial hair comes in very red, and more and more people have called me a "redhead" in recent years. I am now finally starting to notice a bit of a strawberry blonde in my hair/complexion. I used to be VERY blonde.
annamcd11 - I am a nineteen year old college student on the East Coast. I am studying to be a nurse. I am the only daughter of Irish immigrants. I have 5 older brothers, and 7 nieces and nephews. I enjoy books, movies and music. I am very goofy and consider myself fun to be around.
ogwoody - I really hate putting myself into one neat little box and laying out what I am like, so I am putting in a disclaimer; I reserve the right not to be the person I claim to be at any given time of the day, in fact I may be better then one hopes, or worse if the mood strikes me. With that out of the way let me school you a bit on Mike: I am an ever changing work of art that has taken the form of a slightly damaged human (take that how you want), I try to look at all the things that make me me and if I don't like what I see I actively change them. I strive to be a very upstanding member of my community (Can I stress the STRIVE). Sometimes I don't quite make it and instead am an ass to everyone around me but my friends and whoever I am in a relationship with. I never let my sometimes aggressive nature loose on people who are close to me. Instead I show them that I REALLY am a nice guy that is loving, giving, caring and the such; problem is that no one else in the world believes these people when they do tell of that side. I am like this big, furry, dumb, distempered bear. I naturally tend to protect whomever I am around and care about (and sometimes I protect just for the hell of it).
Potassiumx - Born in the gateway to the west. Raised all over the state of Colorful Colorado (by the way colorado only has 3 colors. Brown, Green, and blue). We moved around a lot. I'm not even sure how many times. My best, and usualy only, friend was my brother. I had a less than normal education. Instead of going to school I spent my days barefoot in the backyard, reading as many books as I could, Including the dictionary and 3 sets of encyclopedias, Drawing, Painting, Discovering things in unexpected places, climbing trees, and hosting a pretend radio show ( I still have the tapes).
