WingedVictory - At a party this past weekend, a friend of mine described me as "exuberant." I've bounced this adjective off of others, and they've all agreed. I've finally arrived at a place in my life where I'm truly happy and a peace with who I am. Other things that pop to mind that I use to describe myself are eclectic, creative, crazy in a good way (people, at least in Boston, seem to think you're crazy if you're in a good mood). I'm kinda tall, but love to wear really big boots and green. It's so cliche, but green is absolutely my favorite color. I am known to wear all green sometimes, but subtly. Most folks don't know what's hit them. Stealth Green. Hrm....

Kelli - I am just a little redhead. I go to school and take care of my beautiful daughter. Life is good. I'm sort of half mountain mama and half city girl. I love sushi and dancing, music and books, backpacking and kayaking, medicine and the arts. I just wish to live a meaningful life. No games here or lies. I like to live in the real.

Alura - I think the way the world sees me is entirely different from the way I see myself... which translates into me having a low self image... I see myself as an awkward goofy redhead... However, almost everyone I meet sees me as fun, outgoing, smart, goofy, cute and redheaded... Note that "goofy" & "redhead" appear in both descriptions... I hope the world's description of me is the most accurate...

steeener - Well let's give this a try, I'm not a great writer. I do make up for it when I get to know someone. I can be a quiet person at first, but I do have my spunky side. I'm glad to say I'm not that stubborn, anal or stuck up. I'm not sure of my scary side. I can be the nicest person you know. Probably too nice.

Lace - I am an energetic, feisty red head and my mother named me "Lace." Can you imagine the attention that combo gets me ;) I am extremely independent and love a challenge. I am a "tell it like it is" kinda of girl but funny as hell. If you are out with me, you'll have a good time...promise.

droomstick - I am very proud to have red hair. The hair color is a family affair. My father, brother, grandmother, and two cousins all have red hair so I guess I didn't have much of a choice. I like being immediately different from other people and I think the hair helps you get noticed. Okay, enough about the hair, I just got back from five weeks in Europe and I got to see six countries on my trip. I can't wait to go back, maybe next year. I love to travel and experince new things. I am pretty much game for anything in life. I always enjoy learning. I suppose that is why I became a teacher so I could share that with others.

Leafy - Hmmm, I'm scruffy, I enjoy good company, but I'm more likley to sit in a darkened corner rather than be the centre of attention. I like music, though I cant play a note, I enjoy drawing but I couldn't paint a white wall. I dabble in writing, but all evidence of that is destroyed.

Lappy - Isn't this incredible? Finally for the first time in my life I realize that I am not a kind of alien from another planet. Wow! I feel good about this website. Anyway... As for my redhair self, well I'm a guy who really enjoys life in any kind of way. I'm a very comprehensive person and all I want is to be love and accepted as I am, including my hair! I think its tough for a man to be born with redhair in those days. I'm sure redhair guys will know what I mean especially when you're going with a new date. Anyway, having redhair means being different, but with this website I don't feel different at all.

Gabriel - The eternal Optimist and yet always way over analyzing everything. Maybe to a fault maybe not? I really dig having Red hair It brought me much negative attention as a youth but it's almost like God kinda took the time to mark you special with the Red. Not necessarily as a warning but maybe a sign. You Know of Intensity and Intelligence and Passion And a bit of Vanity and arrogance, but necessities for something so vivid as to be alive in four dimensions at once and using 6 or 7 senses in t he process. But I digress, I am Mostly just shy and quiet and try not to stand out much I'm 6'9" and prone to avoiding crowds. I've also been learning the piano lately.

justwantyourhalf - well let's see. what makes me different. i am redhead. which makes me sedate, and easy going. um, NOT. i am definitely passionate. and argumentative. and always right. oh, you don't think so huh? well bring it on. i am outdoorsy. love athletics, working out and volleyball. i am tallish, and try to keep myself in shape. i am single. not bisexual, but wouldn't turn down the right opportunity. i am open minded, and sensual. anything else? ask.

not_standard_issue - well let's see. i always thought i was blonde until about 1000 people called me a redhead. had to give in. but hey, it fits me. and i have all my hair, so who really cares what the color is. sorry. cynicism is one of my better traits. eeks. personality matches the hair. fiery, argumentative in court as an attorney, but laid back and basically fun and demented when not working. just what you would expect right?

eredbaron - I pride myself on being able to get along with everyone. I think I'm intelligent, can hold a conversation even if I know nothing about the subject. I'm sweet if you're sweet to me, kind of a golden rule of mine. I rarely get upset, and it takes a lot for me to get there. I'm kind of protective of my friends, more the mother of the group. I'm always there for them anytime they need me. I almost always get what I want, and when I don't, it just makes it that more important that I get it. Finally, I'm daddy's little girl. It has always been that way, and probably always will be.

socialbutterfly728 - "Red" is a nickname that has always been given to me but I have never like it very much. I didn't like being a redhead as a child since when you are little you don't want to be different; you want to be like everyone else. As I got older I learned to like my hair more and more. Especially when I really got into the dating scene as I think a lot of men are intrigued by redheads since we are rare. I would never change the color of my hair now just wish that I didn't have so many freckles and just one summer would like to be tan. Oh well though. I am pretty outgoing and like lots of attention. I can be very stubborn and have a temper that you wouldn't believe. I can be quite the jokester as well and I love practical jokes.

TheKen - I'd like to think I'm eccentric, but that term usually applies to rich weirdos. I am not. I'm just weird. Don't get me wrong I don't worship lettuce or iron my socks but I do pride myself on being just left of center. I live in New Jersey and work in the city on Wall Street in Information Technology as a trainer. I was transfered from 1 World Trade Center to another building in July (the pic of me at my desk was taken at 1WTC). I love hanging in the city and I'm always looking for someone to enjoy it with. I love film most of all. Everything from the independent scene to those Hollywood events they recycle each summer. I also like theatre, museums, exotic food, computers, exercise and the outdoors. Although I do like to exercise I like food more.

alterato - As a rule of thumb whenever I have tried to describe myself I have always ended up calling it "Who The H*ll is 'chelle?" Somedays I am pretty witty and on the ball. Today doesn't happen to be one of those days :) It takes me awhile to open up to new people and on the other hand sometimes I can be the extreme opposite... The song that fits me to a "T" would be a toss up between Meredith Brooks' "B*tch" or Train's "Meet Virginia".

Trey - I am a person who enjoys humor and others who take pleasure in the same. I'm at times a quite person but at others I tend to be very disorderly and irritable as a result of my passive aggressive behavior. I enjoy meaningless movies with no plot but great acting. I feel at my best on rainy days. I have a firm belief in conspiracies and have great interest in anything pertaining to the mysterious or unknown. I enjoy discussions of theological belief and theories on the life after our departure from Earth. I also enjoy derby hats and Classical music.

ladynicolai - I am 5'2" tall and have pale sking and lots of freckles. I was born a Gemini and have the mercurial traits inherent of being a Gemini. I am a jack of all trades and master of none. I am facinated with everything and despise boredom. It takes a while to make me angry, but when I do explode, a volcano seems tame compared to me. I am a strong believer in Justice and tend to get angry when I see injustice happening. I have a sharp wit and love the old screwball comedies of the 1930s and 1940s. I am also an anal organizational freak.

chebydol - I am a very strong willed person, but mild tempered and easy to get along with. I believe strongly in whatever I believe in tho I am open minded and understanding of others. Compassionate, loyal, trustworthy, sentimental, artistic, calm in the face of adversity, stubborn as a mule when I have to be. I enjoy stimulating conversation, like to read, sew, fish, boat ride, travel, go to good movies, listen to the oldies as well as country music and good blues. I am interested in many things and have an opinion on most of them. I personally think redheads are special people and am proud to be one of the minority.

hot_head - I'm an 18 year old German nut, lol, the last part I probably got from my mother and her family. There's a lot more to me than that but like most I'm sure, I can not for the life of me think of which aspect of me I should tell you about! I'm fun loving, spontaneous, and worst of all I'm hot headed, very very short tempered. I find it hard at times to control my anger or any other strong emotion. To make it sound better call me passionate ;-) If anything I'm proud of my loving nature, I do everything I can do make others happy and it's the little simple things in life that rock my world. Or get me mad. Depending. When I was 16, my best friend persuaded me to change the colour of my hair, to red. I am not 100% a redhead and I know that that is the rule for this website but I decided to give it a shot as I am convinced that ever since I've become a redhead my personality has, as well. (May I add that paranoia is also one of my characteristics). Basically I really do feel like a redhead, in every way... ;)

dreamfire - My husband and I live in the lowcountry of South Carolina. I write for research/marketing firm. I have a red-haired daughter who has two children. I hate writing about myself because it comes across as more arrogant than self-assured. However, I do believe that attitude is only a hair color.

freklfrog - Am not as shy and introverted as I was when younger. Perhaps confidence comes with age (am over 50) and experience, (sure hope we gain something more than just years). I'm still a quiet person and would rather listen to others than talk just to make noise. Life continues to confirm the importance of things that have always mattered to me: honesty, love of family and friends, the pleasure of a job well done, and follow your feelings.

What can i say im very loving, got the temper that goes along with the red hair. Workin on the body after two kids but looks damn good now. the_Wayward_Redhead - I am a *natural* redhead - when I was a young child my hair was red, turned brown for several years. Around 17 or 18, I got my red hair back. I had been dying it black for years but when I noticed my roots coming in a coppery auburn, I let my hair go natural and here I am! Along with being quite proud of my haircolour, I'm also very proud of the milky white complexion that comes with being a redhead, and go to rather absurd lengths to preserve it (I even have a mailing list for "heliophobes" like me called "Anti-tan"). My favourite redhead of all time? Rita Hayworth! (Sure, she wasn't a natural redhead, but she was saucy and sexy enough to have been one).

Red5392 - Well I am very blunt. I don't care what people think about me. I always say what is on my mind. Most call me a bitch because of it. I am very self confident, independent, and outgoing.

AmandaSo - I was born a redhead -- I just didn't know it until four years ago because I was cleverly disguised as a blonde. Once I discovered my true redhead identity, I was set free. The way I see it, I'm like Clark Kent. Hey, they didn't just up and tell Clark he was Superman when he was a little baby... He would have been confused and frightened of his all-encompassing power. No sirreee, they waited until he was emotionally ready to handle the awesome scope and meaning of his superhuman strength and astronomical abilities. Same here -- when I was ready to be a redhead, my true identity revealed itself. Then I went to an ice cave and got lectured by a big hologram of Marlon Brando's head, and lived happily ever after.

brendastephens - About me...? Well, I'm 34, have 3 kids, love pets. I groom dogs for a living as well as run a web page. I love the internet and all the wonderful things it brings into my life! JamieBrat76 - I am never quite sure of how to describe myself. I have always loathed it, usually telling people-" just get to know me and find out for yourself!" It is so difficult for me mostly because I am always changing. Changing places, moods, interests... even my beliefs on this world in which we are all living in. However, I suppose there are a some things that always remain the same. For one- I have the upmost respect for all people and living things. I can not tolerate predijuce or cruelty, especially when it come to race or personal freedoms. I do not feel that anyone has the right to judge others in such a way. I will not limit my beliefs, rather try to learn as much as I can about all religions and faiths. It just works for me. I am a good person. Honest and sincere when giving my thought s and feelings. Moonraye - I'm a graduate student at Auburn University in Alabama. I have a bachelor's degree in Fisheries and Wildlife from Michigan State University. My husband is a computer programmer. I love the outdoors and animals. At home I have 4 cats who have taken over the house, but don't mind us living there as long as they get fed.

Makes clothes and t-shirts, sometimes cool. Artist, author, journalist, photographer, and university student. Married to a wonderful man, a musician, composer, and artist who works as an LVN. He's incredibly talented and creative and innovative. His brain works in ways mine can't. He's awesome, he's my best friend, my constant companion, my everything.

Jinx - My personality varies from person to person. I am a self-proclaimed pessimist, and as such my friends and family know and love me this way (or at least pretend to very well!). For the general public however, I bounce from happy-go-lucky to shy. Why should I let people I don't know and probably will never know, see the real me? I'm not the flashy red head, but I do admit I don't mind being the center of attention in a crowd of dull drab colors. I do have the red head temperment, and try to hold that in check, oftentimes failing miserably. To help balance the temper, I also have a fierce loyalty to family and friends. Instead I choose to live in a hick military-airforce town and take care of my child and elderly grandparents. Recently my family was publicly honored for being direct decendants of survivors of the Trail of Tears. My father is half Native American but I still don't tan. :) I don't go out or date because I'm done with all the nasty drunks, drugged out losers, psychos, pervs, child molesters, old boyfriends that invite me to their weddings (what is their damage?) and Mr. Boregasms! So I sit here and kill off my brain cells like a lot of good Irish people and chat mindlessly on the computer(jk). I am a natural redhead so stereotypes aside you can expect all the perks that go along with the temperment. I wasn't made with this flowing red warning lable for nothing...

Jet - Well, here we go! My name is Jet I'm 22 and live in Dallas Texas. I run a family owned automotive repair shop. I was born in to the business and its been my playground ever since. I work 10-12 hours a day 5 days a week. I studied Theater and Visual arts for 12 years and graduated from Booker T. Washington high school for the performing and visual arts. I am a Leo..., short tempered at times, and sure as hell not afraid to tell you what I think! you piss me off, you get a ear full! But I do have a very sensitive side. I am 5'5" with a petite look which says I am about a decade younger than I really am.

Copperhead4u - I am a Kentucky girl... misplaced.... forty something and hopefully aging like fine red wine.. I am known as the "Steel Magnolia" by friends....x-tremely soft, compassionate, attentive, caring, naive and vulnerable..but Lizzie Borden dangerous if crossed......... Naturally, there has been a man or two that crossed me and set off a 5 alarm fire!! Of course.. have always been known to fire up quickly and cool down just as fast!!!!! I am Irish/Chickasaw Indian combination which could also explain some of that ....

Odalesque - I am 5'5 135 lbs, auburn hair, hazel (though mostly green) eyes, a few freckles not many though, pale skin, dimples, I have a big nose too lol. I am very hot-tempered and strong-willed and dont usually lose a fight.

greeneyedlady - I'm not one to talk about myself, but here goes. I love the fact that I am a redhead, they say "blondes have more fun". WRONG. Redheads do. I love the attention I get by my fiery mane. What I do not love are the assumptions that are made because of it. Which usually stirs up my temper...so much for shattering stereotypes...For the most part I could probably be described as jovial, most definatley a smart ass, and an absolute handful. But that just makes me interesting. My friends love the fact that I'm a wildcard, and it has to be because of the hair. Men seem to love my hair, I guess because being red is exotic to them.

Brenda_Sue - Lets see: Me, I love to ride with my boyfriend on his bike anywhere in this wonderful USA. I'm a swimmer, walker, reader of true crime, and soft porn. I do write some short stories. I don't believe in looking or acting your age. You are how you feel so make it look good. Health is a priority with me. I try to be active and eat right. My family and friends are at the top of my list.

vdubdave - I'm a pretty normal married with children guy. I'm a computer programmer (geek) and I'm 32 years old. I'm originally from Miami, Fl so, the Miami Dolphins and the Miami Hurricanes are my favorite football team. I have the stereotypical Reh-Headed temper. Big things I can let roll of my back but little things, like people on cell phones in public, drives me insane and I just fume over them. As you can tell from my user name I like VW Beetles.
