Xina_Red - I am a proud natural redhead who loves tattoos and piercings. I love hardcore/metal music (I play the drums). I have way too much compassion for animals, so that's why I am a vet major. I love all animals, but Boxers are a weakness of mine. I spend most of my free time playing with my puppy Roxy and goofing off with my boyfriend Drue. I hate drugs and women-hating. I demand and give total respect.
firelox - Aloha ~ I'm a Midwestern-born redhead living in beautiful Hawaii. I'm a former PI, and am currently doing research for nonfiction writing projects. I'm a 5'4", with blue eyes and thunder thighs. I have short, spiky red hair that matches my personality. I also have a milion freckles. I'd love to meet a man who can make me laugh, keep me warm, protect me, and be faithful. The relationship should be based on trust, respect, and good chemistry. I'm not materialistic, and I'd be happy living in a grass hut with the right man.
ThaCAKES - I am a college student at St. Edward's University in Austin, TX. I am teaching myself to play the trumpet. I am interested in politics, and I plan to major in them. I like Michael Moore and my favorite band is Wilco. I took a year off to travel. I lived in Richmond, Indiana for four months. I would consider that a suvivalist's tale. I don't like people who smoke.
wolf_lover13 - I am a very mellow person til my redheaded temper gets up. I tend to be stubborn at times. I love to laugh and to make others laugh. I am a cut up most of the time. I tease my family and friends a lot, to show them my affection. I am bossy at times or that is at least what my husband says. I try to not let things worry me and just let it roll by, but it is hard sometimes. I tend to worry a good bit about things. I am very loyal to my family and friends. I don't lie so there for I do not tolerate liars. I am very affectionate to others. I am a very good listener when it come to people and problems. I try to help others and try to be generous as well.
Zebedee - I am a very fun loving and free spirited red head. My life philosophy is "The one who dies with the most stories, wins." I plan to be very old and have lots of those stories to tell. I can be very nurturing yet fierce if my home or family are threatened. I like to think I am the epitome of the red head genre. Currently I have 45 inches of red hair. I guess that shows how stubborn I really can be. I had a bad perm experience 13 years ago and decided I was going to have the length of straight red hair that you just dont see every day. I am a virgo with Aries rising tendancies and oddly enough the only red head in 4 generations of my family.
Ladyninja - I am an eccentric 5'6" fiery redhead who (as I am sure you can imagine) loves to debate and argue. I've always been the crazy one in my group of friends, the one who never stops surprising them. My clothing seems to match my nutty personality, as I love to be flamboyant and colorful. I think I was definitely meant to be a redhead, I've used it to my advantage my whole life, and don't think I will ever stop!
Alicia_Star - Hello...... well to start off the reason I came here is to get tips on what color would look best on me. I have red hair that is a little past shoulder length.. with dark brown eyes....which is rare, because red hair is recessive and brown eyes are dominant. I guess I'm a freak of Nature...lol :) I'm 17 years old... pretty out-going most of the time... but you know I'm a redhead with Irish blood and I have the most sexual zodiac sign which is Scorpio. So I have a tendency to be sassy! :) But I think all redheads have a temper right? But this is me.... and I can't be anyone else.
dgeiser13 - I think at the core of my being you'll find a good-hearted person. I am honestly concerned about the well being of others. I go out of my way to make sure that the people I care about are aware of it. I'm not a materialistic person. Things don't make me happy. I am constantly amazed by the people I meet who still pursue this line of reasoning. I'm something of a romantic even in friendship. I like to suprise people with gifts and unexpected phone calls.
Jelina - My personality, I can tell you will differ from every other redhead here. I am a very outgoing person, I love to go out and have fun, act silly, goof around, act immature if you so call it. I am also a trouble seeker...if there's a will, there's a way and this girl will be the first to jump at the chance for trouble. I'm the rebel of the family, so you can see where that comes from. I have 5 other siblings and only 3 have red hair in various shades. Where the redhair came from I don't know, neither my dad or my mom have red hair. Usually when you tell people you have red hair they think hot tempered...is that true for some of you ? For me well I guess you could say that but it takes alot for someone to make my fire raging... I have a very complex personality it's hard to explain to people.
Coppertop_CaliGal - I am what many like to call "A Crazy Red-head." I am pretty outgoing and can't stand people who judge people on their looks, race, weight, etc....it really fries my chicken when people do so! I love my best friend Sarah and my lil' sweetie Lee! They freakin' rock..meow! The day after my junior year in high school ended I chopped all of my hair off! It was almost down to my booty, but now it's a couple inches long! Redheads unite!
Phaedra - I'm stubborn, impatient, and motivated. For a hedonistic lazy person, that is. Type B person with type A recreation habits. Just ask the husband. When I was really young I didn't really know what color my hair was- it wasn't quite red, it wasn't quite blond, it wasn't quite brown (although my hair color was blondish in my first few years). I hated it. When I discovered what auburn was, I hit my groove. It may sound shallow, but I've been called blond, brunette, strawberry blonde, red, dirty blonde (yuk). I didn't trust my own judgement in the mirror, having my hair color shift with light and hi-lighting it blonde in high school, what a mess. Now that I appreciate what it is, dang, I'm getting grey streaks! *ACK* Such is life.
TheDogofWar - I'm a combination of a redhead and Scorpio so my temper can go through the roof if you push the right/wrong buttons. You could say I can be your best friend or worst enemy. I take pride in being unique and my hair color helps in that department. I'm a very sensitive person who cares about others feelings. I'm also very passionate and have deep respect for women. I'm quite shy to those that don't know me but I might scare you if you take the chance to get to know me. I'm often a perfectionist and take great pride in my work and accomplishments. Oh Yeah! I stand about 6'-3" weighing a fit 210lbs.
Sewfine2hem - I am what I am. I have a very strong will and a drive to accomplish what I set out to do. I am in the midst of changing careers. To accomplish that I am working two part time jobs and attending graduate school. I am intent on creating a more successful future. I'm just plain tired of being broke all the time. THe future is not entirely cerrtain (can it ever be?) but so many possibilities exist.
CherryBlair - Me...I am a unique individual. Self-assured and responsible, but also fun loving and kinda crazy. I just know how to be the right kind of person at the appropriate time. I have a lot of things I would like to do with my life: 1) make a difference in the world, 2) be famous, 3) be happy! I have always been a redhead, and probably always will be. I have never dyed my hair (people would murder me), and never wished I wasn't a redhead. Sometimes I wonder if I could be the same person I am today, if I wasn't a redhead...I think not. There is something special about everyone, and I think I got lucky and got some red hair. Everything else is a result of that! I think of my brain as millions and millions of file cabinets...I am able to store and recall the most interesting things. People often ask me why I know so much "stuff" or where I took the time to learn about something. I really don't know, it just comes naturally. I love to learn! I also enjoy organization and other anal activities. People often assume certain things about me, because I have readhair. This really makes me laugh (oh yeah, I also LOVE to laugh). I mean I guess I am fiery and all that...but in many situations, I try not to be a bitch...cause often that just creates conflict and other yucky things. I would rather people saw me as a pleasant, fun to be around person. I use my temper and power only if it is really called for.
Katieangelwings - I am a fiery lady. My moods range from very high to very low. I am a Pisces Sun, so am very compassionate and caring for the feelings and plights of others. I have my Moon in Leo, so am the Mother Lion. Fiercely defending others, especially my children and grandchildren. If you need help on anything, just ask me. I am usually there for anyone in need. But it is also important to me that people learn to stand on their own two feet. I will help anyone, to a point. There should reach a time when I have helped enough and you are on your own.
PrincessBethany - I do not like it when people dye their hair red! Let's just make that known now! I am known in my family as the "wild child" and also the "Redheaded step-child", even though I am not adopted and my parents are still together! There are seven people in my family and I am the only one lucky enought to get the redhead gene! When I was little I hated my hair because I was called "Carrottop" and "clown". I came home crying everyday! But now I love my hair and love to make people jealous that mine is real!
Luckoftheirish30 - ME. Once a tomboy, rebel and named "most daring", I'm now, in my early 30's, a Mother and more conservative. It's amazing what motherhood can do for a person. As a stay-at-home Mom, i'm rarely home. Whether it's taxi-ing kids to school dances, soccer or wrestling - it's Doctor's appointments, oil-changes or grocery shopping. Never a dull moment. As a kid, my focus was on club-houses and whiffel-ball games, just like most. Now, I'm focused on nothing but raising these babies (right!)
Sarrissa - I am finally happy to be 21. I am a medical student. I am love my pets, and my parents. I love my job (sort of). I'm the happiest when I'm online, and people can't see what I look like.
roberto - I'm not sure whether it was my ginger hair or general lack of social skills, but I've always set myself apart from the rest of the human race. But ultimately, in my course of enlightenment, I have found inner peace thanks to copious amounts of cider and sporting activity. To this end, I ride a bike, play football, and know kung fu. I probably have some liver dysfunction as well. One day I know that I will find what I'm looking for, but until that time, I can only found my decisions on the writings of Russell Grant. If anyone would like to help me in writing a book on the philosophy of riding a bike, do get in touch. My ginger thoughts are with you. Bless you all.
RobinC38 - I am a very confident woman with extreme intelligence. I love simple things in life and appreciate them too. However I could also be considered a eclectic type person. I love life, I live it to the fullest. I enjoy my not only my children but my Grandchildren too!! I love conversation, however avoid debates. I agree to disagree. I value peoples perception of life. I can never gain enough knowledge of how people think and how they live.
Redfox - I'm a 39 year old, single redhead. I'm a mostly nice, kind and thoughtful person. I have 3 dogs that live in the house with me. They are retired from competing in obedience and agility events. I know alot about dogs and training them. I've worked with animals since I was 19 years old. I work part time grooming dogs and cats, and full time as a bakery tech. When it comes to chocolates, only the best will do! No cheap brands. I have to have chocolate every day. I'm a very picky eater, I grew up on mac & cheese. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my job that people at work think I'm slow, but I'm not really, I just like to do it right the first time and I'm not sloppy about it, either. That's the capricorn in me. I love wolves and foxes because they are so loyal and caring to their family. Wolves are not the big bad wolf that people have brainwashed us to believe. I highly believe in alternative medicine such as herbs, homeopathy, and vitamins and nutrition, although on the last one I don't do as I should on it such as eating my veggies. I talk alot as you can see. I could go on, but I won't for now.
Infinity - So of course, I have a temper, but I think of that as a good thing (although people who deal with me may disagree, but hey). I'm smart and obscenely logical, and have no qualms about shoving that in other people's faces to win arguments. I'm a joker who tends to be wry and self-deprecating, and I get easily bored by people. More? I use the words "incredibly", "amazingly", and "obscenely" way too much, and often in the wrong contexts, but hey, we all have our little quirks. I'm tired of people who are "alternative without a cause", as I live in an extremely liberal place where people lean so far to the left they come back around the right again; as a friend of mine once said, "I'm a moderate liberal, so both Democrats and Republicans hate me." I assume the worst of people. And the thing is, I am very rarely surprised. I have some good qualities, too, but we all like to read about other people's deficiencies rather than why they're better than us, right? *smile*
Robert - Much has changed in my life since I first became a member of Realm of Redheads. I am now married to a wonderful Rome-born American woman, raising a child and living in Rome where we own a business relating to Italian tourism. Don't hesitate to contact me if you'd like some help in planning a trip to Italy. My wife's hair is dark blond with a reddish cast and her father was a redhead. So, it's not surprising that our son is also a redhead.
DrLynn - I am a middle-aged (chronologically) but very young (at heart) family doctor, married to a dentist. I live on a 23-acre spread we refer to as the "funny farm", with 7 dogs (6 are German Shepherds, 1 is a "dumped on the road" dog), 2 barn-kitties, 3 house-cats, 2 aging but also young-at-heart Arabian horses, and 15 milk-goats. Like many doctors, I am Obsessive-Compulsive Disordered to the maax, and have very little tolerance for those who do less than their 100% best at anything. I will, however, go to the last degree to help anyone I can. I am a Christian (Presbyterian by label) and conservative (Libertarian, yet), who doesn't smoke but who likes the occasional "toddy" (one and I giggle, two and I sleep).
WiccanMuse - I'm a 21st-century spiritual seeker with an interest in Eastern mysticism, particularly Buddhism and Taoism. Chronologically I am 40, but in mind I'm perenially mid-20s. I live in the Rocky Mountains with two teenagers, several pets and an overactive imagination. I am in love with an incredible man whom I adore. In addition, I am a multipublished professional writer who pursues many things, including advanced studies in communications and philosophy. A Masters is in the offing, but not sure about the Doctorate quite yet. As of November 23, 2004, I finally landed a book contract -- my first ever. Oh yes -- and a week later, I signed as a client of the Meredith Bernstein Literary Agency in New York City. My book, Sun Signs for Writers is due out in August 2006 from F + W Publications (Writer's Digest Books).
redhead_chick - A little about me, besides the usual... red hair and temper to match x's 2 of course :o)~ I've definitely grown to love my hair color as I'm sure most of you have, I think just by having red hair and sticking out like a sore thumb wherever I went/go, I've developed a really crazy sense of humor, to say the least. I try to let the stares, points and giggles go right past me. On the other hand I don't mind *trying* to hide in the shadows either, basically I'm pretty easygoing, a little shy at times too, I guess that must be the gemini in me or the italian :)
cokeyno - Like most redheads, I've benefitted from always being "a little bit different." I'm often called humorous, but that's just a sophisticated self-defense ability used to protected against the non-redheaded majority. Some call me cynical, I think it's amusing. In either case, I view the world from a different perspective... I love new and different things: I'm always seeking out new people, intelligence and adventure. I find interest in just about anything, the world is so amazing.
auntJOY - I am now a selling artist who previously worked in hospitals in clerical positions for most of life.I found myself at age 50 and went back to art.I have hand made and sold quilts in adorable shops in the 80's,but it wasn't like getting back into art. When I turned 50 and left hospital work I started back to art classes and creating art and getting into online art groups.I am now into "altered books" big time.I do swaps with other artists online in yahoo groups. An adorable puppy found me in May and of course I had to have him.Darn those pet stores and get aquainted rooms.I had moms care for the last quite a few years, but mom died in January sorry to say. OK redheads rule and are the most creative. My niece a redhead of course(most of my family is RED)is accepted to YALE next fall,I am a proud aunt.We get alot of attention everywhere we go.OH THAT HAIR...
ErinM - I'm a sarcastic and humorous woman, but extremely shy until I get to know someone. This can be a bit funny, because strangers come up and talk to me all the time. My friends say it's the hair, which is as good an explanation as any. My passions are for good books, cartoons, and coffee. I try to keep a balance between mature pragmatism and a youthful spirit, with some (but not total) success.
flame_head_heather - My name is Heather and I am 15, 16 in like two months. So I am just now discovering the pros and cons of being a redhead. I believe that us redheads have a special bond. I am agnostic and have been raised that way. I do not put up with close minded people. I come from a big single mother family and I am the middle child which has only added to my stubborness and spunk.... I know how to get what I want. Like I said, I am just discovering the pros and cons.. one of the pros being people back off and are naturally afraid of a redhead. One of the cons would have to be the sexual advances and offers. I can be very nice if you are nice to me. I am at a stage in my life of hating men. And I hope to be famous some day.
Tiffany_May - I was born and bred a natural redhead, both parents redheads, all three sisters with a version of red (mine the most fiery), even my dog (an Irish Setter) had a mane of red! It took me many years to realize how having this mass tumbleweed of orange curls accompanied by orange eyebrows/lashes could be kinda cool. And I love it. My hair seems to describe my personality more than anything, and it has always been one hell of a strong attribute. Big, bouncy, adventurous, loud, playfully insane, risky and wild- 'tis me and 'tis my my mane!
InsaneBrig - I've been a red all my life. I get it from my dad, which is were I also get my irish backround. With my name (Bridget Kathleen) which is 100% irish, and the red hair, I was always asked at work if I was irish. I have the redhead attitude, I'm very straight forward with most things, I'll tell you what's on my mind if you catch me in the right mood. Uhmm... I don't know what else to say haha.
Firecracker - Short, sassy, and spontaneous! Those three words pretty much sum it up. Without anyone around I believe I am tall. :) I used to be teased a lot in grade school because I had red hair, so I asked my mom how I got red hair since no one in my family had red hair. Well, she told me it was because I came from rusty pipes. I like soccer, electronics, MEN, and beer. I enjoy watching movies and shopping.
ajisred - Being a six foot tall redhead, I've always attracted a lot of attention - good and bad. I'm not an attention seeker, but I think I have the ability to command attention when I want. I'm a hard worker, so I usually get what I want. I do not display the typical redhead "temper," but that doesn't mean I don't have it. I just hide it well behind a calm face.
Anil - I've been a redhead for 36 years and hope that I stay that way for a long as the gray hair genes let me! I'm honest, a good friend, and like to laugh. My favorite things are: my daughter, furry animals, a dark night with bright stars, fireflies, music, sunshine, the sound of water lapping on a shore and cheese cake! I hope to find some friends here that share my love of being one of the rare few with real red hair. =)
Saorise - Hi, I'm Saorise, (sheer-shay) which is Gaelic for "freedom." I'm very interested in a career in law, and I'm working toward that right now. I'm an Irish dancer with the Gray School and I love it. I took a Jungian personality test and apparently I'm nurturing. I do have a redheaded temper, but a long fuse unless you hit a nerve. I love to read, sing and shop.
DeltaBlues - I'm just a redheaded college student in Washington. I'm a little wacky and have a strange sense of humor, some people might say. I love being a redhead. As one, I know that redheads are the coolest people in the world. I'm pretty cool myself, I'd say. Check out my web site for more information.
lisae - I like to cook and garden. I love the outdoors. My kids keep me pretty busy and I enjoy every minute of it. I don't sit still very well. I carry my heart on my shoulders and I tend to speak my mind (too much)...I am very independent and prideful which is as much a hinderance as it is helpful...
Jes421 - I'm a tall girl at 5'11. I am not 100 pounds. I am not one-size-fits all. I am a size 14. 18. Size 22. I am beautiful. I am half the women in this country. I am not outside the norm. I am the norm. And I'm not invisible! I have long hair past my shoulders (as you can see in one of the pics provided!) I do not consider myself pohotogenic in ANY way...the camera always adds like 100 pounds, to me anyways. I am sure if given half the chance, I would put on those pounds without the help of a camera :) I am outgoing, fun loving, and outspoken with a limited bullshit tolerance. Alot of people dislike my sarcastic nature. Once you get to know me...you understand it and then you can't help but love me!
Miss360 - Wow, describing yourself in a few short paragraphs is always hard, isn't it? I take pride in being my own person -- forming my own opinions and actually thinking about issues. Not to toot my own horn, but I know I am highly intelligent and thoughtful. Our society is one of labels, none of which I seem to fit. As an example, political viewpoints can be either "conservative" or "liberal." What do you call someone who is both, depending on the issue? A free thinker, I suppose. That's me! I'm different, and I know it. That's just something you have to revel in, isn't it?
ladylynnith - i am a college student in virginia, a recreation and leisure studies major to be exact. I'm the only redhead in my family. when i laugh my face turns really red. i'm a shy person, but out going once i get to know the people i'm around. i like making my friends laugh, and i am definatly a good listener. i usually don't have the "red head" temper but occasionally it does come out.
lilruby - I'm not much for self indulgence so this will be short and sweet, very much like myself (humf). I am a 24 year old southern girl. Coppery red hair, blue eyes and very fair skin w/ freckles. I am fiesty at times and reserved others. (depends on the company) which means I'm a bit shy. I'm here looking around to maybe make new friends or a hobby out of it.
Grace - I'm a regular sixteen year old, I think... maybe not the prettiest girl around, but (and this unfortunately shows society's predjudice to us redheads) I've been called the prettiest redhead around... I loved my hair when I was little, it made me feel special. Sometimes nowadays I just wish it were blonde, thanks to offhand comments made by vicious highschoolers (you know the type).. but hey, I get over it. I'm a 4.0+ student (and very proud of it :), a diver for my high school (I was a gymnast for 7 years), and I love to read and watch movies. My friends are my life.. although most of them are blondes or brunettes ;) I do have one redhead friend. I'm a junior at a catholic all-girls high school, but i'm not catholic. I'm developing my own religion. I'm a big procrastinator. I like angel food cake, grape soda, iridesent purple nail polish, kittens, my math teacher, green clothes, music, and christmas.
Shatz - I am a quiet person who enjoys time to myself, kind of like a loner. I have some medical problems which make it hard for me to go out in crowds. I love working on my computer. I am an avid gardener and spend alot of my time also doing Crafts. I learned web design about 2 years ago and I am working on starting my own business. I also have pets - 2 yorkies Spunky and Precious, 2 bunnies Freckles and Brownie and I recently acquired my brothers dog an Old English Buldog named Mr. Buttkissmee.
eyerishncal - Like many redheads I've grown up with all the name calling, girls not liking redheads, (that hasn't changed), you know the story. For the most part it's not a problem, though I don't tolerate being called red. If you don't care to know my name, then you don't need to talk to me. Otherwise I'm the most easy going, go out of my way to help you kind of person you could ever know. I believe the world would be so much better if people returned favors and did favors unspokenly and without expectations. I never forget when someone helps me out, and I make a point to do something in return whenever I see the opportunity. To change the subject, I've never seen as many beautiful redhead girls in my life until I joined this internet world. Only a few in my life have I been attracted to, and they were taken by non-redhead guys. Which brings up a question I have, why is there not more redhead couples, are we not attracted to our own "kind" or trying to escape the world of red hair? Soon we will be extinct...
Jasmyne - My member name is derived from my craft name, Ananya Jasmyne SilverMoon. I am about 5'3, have curly auburn hair, medium length, and green eyes. I love Tori Amos, Tool, and Mazzy Star. Poetry and reading is how I pass the time. As far as personality goes, I am somewhat reserved, until I get to know you. It takes me a little while to warm up to people, but don't think that I am snobby. I am one that tries to keep peace with everything, I hate confrontation, when it is unnessecary. I have a great sense of humour, collect faeries.....and if you wanna know anymore about me, I suppose that we'll have to talk sometime..
Redfalcon - I'm a caring guy who respects others opinions (whether they're right or wrong). I'm honourable and loyal. When I'm with someone I want them to be happy and try my best to keep them happy. I love children they're laugther always brigthens my day. I like spending time with that certain someone. Life is worth sharing even the tinyest of details.
