Birdmad - My mother used to always say that if she ever had children, she did not want a redhead, anything, but a redhead would please her...Well, apparently I've been defiant since birth as I came out with hair as bright as a shiny new copper penny...I've grown to love my strawberry hair and pale complexion with scattered freckles, but man did I ever used to hate those nicknames...Well, if I ever have children, I would adore to have a redhead...

Lilrdheddgrl - I am 19 years old, and I currently live in Flagstaff, Arizona. I am attending Northern Arizona University, and so far I am undecided. Next year I am going to transfer over to Arizona State University, and I am going to major in some sort of communications. I'm leaning more toward broadcasting, or something in that area, but in all actuality I have no clue! Heheh...I love music, and used to play clarinet and percussion, but recent shoulder injuries have prevented me from doing so. Anyway, I'm a pretty interesting person once you get to know me, and I believe that's it for now! =oP

RedRogue - I am a fun loving individual and like to be around others who are the same. I am quiet and shy. Often my lack of outwardness is mistaken for lack of interest. The opposite is true. I enjoy meeting new people and making friends. If you are disrespectful or untruthful...stay away. These are two traits I can not tolerate. I am easy to get along with and full of life.

megz - Oh I never know what to say in these bio things. What do you want to know..? I'm your average geek girl. I spend a lot of time in front of a computer. When I'm not attatched to a keyboard I'm off having adventures. I love to travel. I always seem to be off doing something crazy, but at the end of the day you'll usually find me enjoying a cup of tea and a profound conversation with a good friend. :)

Akasha - I'm an outgoing, fun loving gal. I'm very straight to the point, and if you cross me I make a bad enemy but a great friend! I love life and music and try to be an optimist as much as I can. I have a great sense of humour, that some people don't understand but hey what can ya do! I go for the do what is right for me and no one else approach to life and I won't let anyone tell me how I should live if it's not what I want. I get very passionate about things and am most of the time lead by my emotions.

GoodniteMoon - I'm Dana and I'm 14 years old, 15 soon. I'm about 6 feet tall with a large bone structure and a little chubby. I'm pretty pale with lots of freckles. My hair used to be really bright red when I was little but now it's a little darker. I have hazel eyes and wear glasses. I have a labret piercing (chin) and I want to get more. I enjoy a variety of music like rock, alternative, punk, indie, and some country.

BurntSpice - Hey! I'm a crazy redheaded chick who loves to meet new people and have fun. I'm currently studying toward an undergrad degree at SUNY Cortland....watch out I'm a communications major so I ask a lot of questions. I love to sing...especially in the shower...hehe. I'm the kinda girl who never says goodbye, cause chances are we'll meet again. Sometimes I'm a little weird, but that's what makes me "me." My philosophy is variety is the spice if life, get out there and have a banquet.

irish_lad - well i guess i should start off by decribing myself as a true redhead with freckles to match. i am into the irish heritage about as much as one individual could be. i am very laid back and like to have a good time no matter what i am doing. i like to go out and experience new things and of course with my irish heritage comes alcohol sometimes too! can`t be a true irishman without some liquor or beer.

lvfrogz - My name is Katy and I love being a redhead! It's like being somewhat unique and I lavish in being different. I am extremely confidant in myself. I have ALOT of self pride. Basically , I was 14 when I got pregnant and had no help from any family or friends. I stayed in school and graduated (while living on my own and working to pay daycare) and put my self through college and now work for Microsoft. I never got on welfare and am DAMN proud of myself for raising myself and my son very well and making sure that we do not create a cycle of poverty. I also am determined to make sure that I don't struggle my whole life and WILL live very or extremely comfortable in my older days. I am a VERY loving and loyal woman until you do me wrong one too many times. Then I don't forgive ever again. I consider myself like a chamelion. I can not only blend in wherever I go, I also fit right in. I also consdier my self a very multi-talented person. You will always be amazed at what I know on various topics and what I know how to do. Knowledge is power. And the last descriptive statement I will make about myself...... I LOVE FROGS!!!

Jamie - I'm 5'4 with long redhair blue eyes a grat personality and a great sense of humor people who like me love me and the few that dont really hate me but thats okay because i'm the best of the best i'm a redhead lets see i love to do anything exciteing and im will do just about anything i'm funny i'm just great all the way around oh yeah i have three great kids but none of them are red heads and also i'm looking for mr right so if you see him please send him my way thanks.

David_James - Hi. This six foot, one hundred and eighty-five pound redhead is a Licensed Massage Therapist working in the Twilight Zone he likes to call Toledo, Ohio. A transplant from Columbus, Dave likes the slower, more intimate sides of life's prism and, now, has no idea why he is writing in the narrative form (Yikes!). I work out two to three times a week to help prolong my career. I love music, enjoy reading Hunter S. Thompson and George Orwell, like walking in the woods or on the beach, a movie out or in, or just hanging out with a beautiful, young woman who doesn't care that I talk about things other than cars or what my favorite whiskey shot is (zzzzzz!). Been there, done that, not going back. Once and awhile I like to look up from the tree and observe the woods. Anyway, that's my brief self description. Redheads RULE!!!

ConnieSue - I am very proud to be a redhead. My hair has always been long and it will always be that way. I love my hair and I am thrilled about finding a site exclusively for redheads. I keep in shape by working out routinely and I love to go out and dance and try new things. I am very spontaneous and "gutsy". I have a "redhead temper" sometimes, but not too often. I am normally happy and a pleasure to be around. I like to see other people smile.

lisanne - I am a redhead. I have been a redhead since I was born. My husband insists that my hair is brown. Good intro, eh?! Okay, so I'm a little longwinded and slightly boring, but there's usually an interesting punchline. I come from a large family of brunnettes with the exception of a one redheaded brother. No one knows why we got blessed, there are no family memories of red hair. I figure it's 'cause we're real special. Incidentally, my blood type is A-. Isn't that interesting!

MistressHell - I am a somewhat edgy pessimist with a propensity for sarcasm. Some are intimidated, others offended. I make no apologies for who I am except to those I have hurt needlessly on one of my many rants. I am brutally honest, and frequently my opinion is met by uncomfortable silence. Mae West said it best when she said "I used to be Snow White - but then I drifted." I also have an over-active imagination and a natural inclination towards mischief. Something that may not be apparent from reading this is that I do have a sense of humor.

kjones - I am a natural redhead who is 24 yrs old, 5'4 and has hazel eyes. I went thought stages growing up where I hated my red hair do to criticism I would receive from other children. What confused me back then was adults loved my hair but some kids at school still teased me about it. I am now at a point in my life where I really like my hair. I stand out and it gives me a quality that is hard to find. I just recently graduated form U of W and am dating a great guy named Nick.

HMYJIM - I am a simple man- I am working to be financially independant- I get my bills paid on time have a car & a roof over my head, I can be found on Bigchurch.com as RailBaron2, Passion.com as Beatty Jim, Looking for my soul mate. I can be found on Ebay- HMYJIM! where I buy & sell & make a living.

MTreppiedi - By day, I am a mild-mannered editor of business-to-business directories... but by Friday night, I escape home to change into something either comfy or slinky (depending on my mood), grab my digital camera, and then I run out the door to snap pics of my favorite local band and their nutty fans. These pics wind up on a web site I run to promote the band... and occasionally *my* antics are featured there as well. I sing with the band sometimes (dance with them too - well, if you can call what ANY of us do "dancing"!), but most often I am finding the drunkest person in the room to see what deviltry they are up to.

pennysue - I'm the type of person that likes to spend time with friends. I've been told on numerous occasions that I talk too much, and I find that some of my friends purposely ignore me and it angers me like nothing else can. I am a great listener and it makes me feel good to be there when people need to talk, which is why I expect the same in return.

Ashley_Lynn - I like to consider myself very outgoing and outspoken. You couldn't pay me to keep my opinion to myself. I have the temper of the Irish, but I've learned to put a long fuse on it and to use reason when the fuse gets short. I'm energetic, educated, and extremely debative. I like to act like G.I. Jane, even though I'm fragile as a flower. I have a very strong faith in God, my family, friends, and myself. I will not let anyone put me down or degrade me. I am a human being and I deserve the same respect as anyone else.

irishgirl_76 - I am an unruly redhead, who likes to take charge. I'm sassy and brutally honest at times. I don't like people who believe in playing childish games and I have a low tolerance level for complete idiots. I am a smartass and am fun to be around. Besides being sassy I am very friendly and outspoken with most people. I can be shy at first but when I get to know you watch out. I try to enjoy life to its fullest with my friends and family. I'm always looking for new friends and new adventures.

Sickboy777 - HELLO out there! I am just your ordinary average Sagitarius born in the year of the Cock. I'm honest to the point where I piss people off, yet I'm tender and kind enough to shut up and listen when it matters. I usually wind up getting my heart broken so I don't really get too involved anymore. I believe that I am meant to walk the world alone until the day some insatiable vixen ties me up....literally! I got divorced 3 years ago and proceeded to follow a road of self destruction, lots of booze, tattoos, fast cars, fast women, and even illicit drugs. Since then I have mended my wicked ways and began following my heart a little more. Now I am a body piercer, I play bass in a hardcore punk band and I'm restoringg a 66 Mustang. I believe now that happiness is a choice......not a right! To all you victims out there, it only gets better when YOU want it to.

Elisabeth - I'm a sharp copperred who is on the top of the world at times. But I have had frequent rough times as well. In my rough times I'd like to go shopping and drive my husband crazy with newly bought clothes which I will never wear... I never lose my sense of humor to great annoyance of those present because I mostly see the humorous side of all things and laugh my heart out. On the other hand...you have a real bad time with me and you are asking for a lot of sarcasm if you can't keep up with my wit or quick mind. In fact I am rather nice to people and lend them a helping hand if I can but when in a meeting I can be a real burden to those who want to mess with tasks, rules, laws and take advantage of those who don't dare to stand up for themselves.

Alanmc - ok self description time is it well lets see im a physicst but not a swot im just good at that sort of thing im also in the TA which keeps me fit and its good for cheap drink i think its good being a redhead apart from looking like a strike anywhere match and those pesky giants turning you up side down and scraping your head on the pavment but like i said its ok being a redhead at least drivers see you in the dark

Ambersand - I am very firey; always looking for adventure and mischief. I love the outdoors and am a mountain biker when the weather is nice. I love to skydive and am a witty, intelligent, creative maniac that loves animals and nature. My favorite past time is hiking Old Rag Mountain or painting the first available sunset. I am a Buddhist and an avid reader. I also studied opera in college and love to sing. (so much in fact, I'm waiting to get tackled and have my mouth duct taped shut by my roomies.) I enjoy meeting people and making new friends, especially redheads...I also like rain and cats--a lot. Oh and red wine. I'm a huge red wine fanatic.

Tigergirl - I'm an 18 year old female, from Minnesota. I am a redhead from a place that has very few, but I think we have to most fun. I saw this site in school and thought I would join, never knew they had a site for red heads. I enjoy my hair color and love to have fun. I am still in high school and am planning on going to college next year, in MN also.

RedHott123 - 5'6 Red hair (obviously) bluish-green eyes. I play basketball and have been dancing for 10 years. I love to have fun and everything else and I've been known to be boy crazy (lol)! I am usually get 1st honors, and I am on National Junior Honor Society (NJHS). I hope to be a broadcast journalist when I grow up and I am currently running for Secratary of Student Council. I shop all the time, hang out with friends, go to parties, and am always on the phone.

badseedshalo - What to say??? I am a Celtic Amazon Princess- so I was born this way! I am 5'10" but want to be 6ft even, so I wear big shoes. Hah! Red headed (duh!) green eyed with a pasty hide. I am morbid by nature, and driven to extremes by sheer perversity. Hysterical,er I mean hysterically funny- heh, and I would say slightly unhinged, but moderately goth-y to boot. Fun at parties and Barmitzvahs. Ahem. I AM that girl your mother warned you about.

pisceshippy - well, lets see...i am a self-described hippy..my hair drapes below my waist, and i have my lip pierced, and one tattoo. i paint, sculpt, take pictures, and write... i live on a farm with another fmaily, who are now my true family/tribe. we try to live in a simpler way, closer to mother earth and to our roots and source...i try to walk in a sacred maner. i am not trying to save the world, at least not all the people in it, but i choose not to take part in its destruction. i went to my first inipi ceramony (sweat lodge) a couple of weeks ago, and it was powerful for me...i do reiki..im into tarot, and astrology... i believe there is meaning in everything, and i look for coincidence in my life. i dream vividly, and i listen the what my dreams whisper...i am searching for someone..i can almost see him, like a hazy vision... seemingly just out of my grasp.

RockinRed - I love meeting new people....especially other redheads. We are so few and it really is great to get to know others who share in the blessing of red hair. I enjoy playing soccer and wathcing baseball. I LOVE TO READ! Although it sounds childish, Dr. Seuss is one of my favorite authors. He makes sense out of nonsense. I love intelligent people. A good conversation can go a long way! I also enjoy boating and camping. I love being around children, after all I am a big one. Children are a blessing because they can find joy in anything. Please contact me, I love making new friends!!!!!!

Cindy - I love conversing with people who have different beliefs, political or religious, because the difference in people is fascinating. I will defend my opinions but will also listen to others. I have a dry sense of humor at times and fail to see the reason to take every moment of life serious. I love people who can laugh at themselves, for if you can't laugh at yourself, you can't really see yourself. I feel friends are a special treasure and should be treated accordingly.

AriDanesh - I'm a Brit Palace-aholic nutter who loves to watch sport, write in my journal, flirt - with boys and girls (hell yeah I'm bisexual!), meet new people and lots of cool stuff like that. I guess my friends would call me a strong-willed person, because I don't like taking no for an answer when it's something that I really want. My favourite place in the world is Paris, France... I'd love to go back there some day, maybe even retire there :)

Babyredjill - I love the color of my hair; I do not enjoy the color of my skin! Being born and raised in Southeast Asia where ALL my neighobors were dark-haired and dark-skinned was interesting to say the least. I was quite an enigma! I always longed for olive colored skin and hazel eyes, but would that compliment the copper ringlets that I also envied? I think not. Therefore, I am sticking with my freckled skin, blue/green eyes and copper tresses (that are thick and somewhat wavy but not "Nicole Kidman curly"). I am happily married to a handsome, dark-haired, dark-eyed gentlemen named Miguel. (I call him Chocolate and I'm Vanilla. Hopefully we will have a Butterscotch baby!) Everything on my body is real except for my spring and summer tan which must now come from a bottle!

Diana_Van - I like to think I am friendly and outgoing. I have a good sense of humor and like a good joke. I think I am a quiet person, but can be aggressive when I know I am right. I am very close to my family. I enjoy country music and go to many concerts throughout the year. I like to travel and go on at least one motor coach trip a year. I like surfing the net and enjoy going to craft shows (shop till you drop).

Rozie - Well, I don't really know what to say about myself. I am a published poet and I've got a book started, I'm somewhere around chapter three. I've got a sense of humor that some people don't get, I'm really good at situational humor...I can be somwhat of a.... uh... smart ass... But such as life.

I'm a member of the 'youre one of the coolest girls ive ever met, lets be FRIENDS forever!' group...I think that the title speaks for itself. That's basically saying that I am...forever single and I have little to no doubt that I will end up being 'that crazy lady that lives down the road in the stinky house because she has so many cats'...

Redhead_1306 - I am a senior at the local high school and am looking forward to graduating and starting college in the fall. I am an identical twin, and we love our red hair. I am a pretty short person, but my red hair makes up for my vertical lack. I also have the characterisic pale skin and freckles, but living in Washington has made them fade considerably. I love being a redhead and I have never died my hair and never will!

SugaBear - I'm a sassy lil redhead, and I say little, because I'm only 5'4" and weigh about 110 pounds. I can either be very quiet or very out spoken. And as the saying goes... I have the typical hot headed redhead temper. So of course, if someone gets on my nerves, they usually hear about it. But it takes a lot to get on my bad side, generally I'm a very nice person with a caring heart. I'm more concerned about my friends then I am with myself and my well-being. I'd rather be the one crying, then seeing a friend cry and not know how to help him and/or her. I'm also very emotional... as in, if I'm reading a book or watching a show that something sad happens, I'm most likely going to cry over it.

shaybear - I've been a bartender for 2 years, and have a background in public relations, interior design, photography, art, psychology, sociology, counselling and entertainment. Avid karaoke buff, love to dance, sing, write poetry, play with my kids, meet new people, chat on YAHOO, create web sites and write songs. Getting married this fall to a "redneck" from Tennessee. Planning on going back to school this fall for graphic design, and having my 3rd child in July of 2002.

iamdisco - i love to dance. am very involved with the los angeles dance music scene and run my own weekly nightclub. love to cook and am presently seeking training to become a nutritionist/personal chef. i am a vegetarian, in love with the ocean and get called a hippy once a day...doesnt bother me a bit. :) work at an internet company, have a crush on my computer and all things nerdy. love my child deeply. would love to run away to costa rica and live on the sand for the rest of my days...with latin beats and a lap top to keep in touch with all my friends.

Scarlett - Typical Irish redhead. Calm, cool, serene, even tempered. Yeh Right!!! Mostly these qualities, but have been know to let go now and then. I love people and making new friends. In my younger years, I loved and boasted about my Irish heritage, HID my red hair and didn't know how lucky I was to be a Scorpio. THEN I learned how really great it was to be a REDHEAD!! I tried blond once, had no fun at all. Mostly because my hair went pink and stayed there. I now brag about all three.

RedButterfly - I am a very complex person. I tend to be mostly on the shy side, but I can can be rather loud when I wanna be. I also have quite a temper to match my hair. I am very artist. I love poetry and songwritting. Love the outdoors, driving, and going out to have a good time. I hate living in this city. This city has too many limits on what I can do, and it has nothing to offer me.

Emkay - I am a bit quirky. I am literate and a writer. I like to read Terry Pratchett (who, by the way, is a bit romantic on redheads) And C. S. Lewis (espically theology) As of 2002, I'm still in highschool. I have a bit of a temper, but that's family, not hair color. I like making off-kilter jokes and acting. I'm a little shy, but a chatterbox when comfortable.

LauraRita - I am a very honest, hardworking, passive women raised in the country living in the city(having a very hard time adjusting). With the low self-esteem, I am very good at covering up. I have a great sense of humor, love to laugh, meet new people, but have a hard time trusting. At 42, I am very physically fit, watch my weight and walk 4-5 miles faithfully. I have lots of confidence in myself when it comes to my work, raising my children and my morals.

raymaloy - Retired at Camp Pendleton, California in 1976 after 20 year career in the Marine Corps. For the next 16 years I developed commercial property in Southern California, Arizona and Japan until the crowded freeways, crime, smog sent me fleeing back to my home state of Alabama for semi-retirement. Presently writing a book and magazine articles when the notion hits me. I am 6' tall/180 lbs.; very athletic and work out daily. Hobbies include golf, reading/research, the performing arts and the preservation of historical sites. I live on the Gulf Coast of Alabama and enjoy the whitest, cleanest beaches in the world along with great restaurants and nearby New Orleans. I have always thought that redheads possess unique, positive characteristics and abilities. Whether from heritage, genes or simply from overcoming a certain amount of prejudice... Who knows?

Imagraphicx - Born fiery red, then bright red, then copper, copper-auburn, to tangerine. It just changes with the weather. I am not against dyed red, I try to accept it as a form of flattery - which it is. I may know someone for approximately a year, and by then, they have died their head RED. Yes, flattery, but more, RED is quite outstanding, can be brilliant, and more than fun to work with in coordinating outfits, or making an entrance. I am actually quiet, but know I would not change my hair color for MOST of the money in the world. It will be turning white shortly anyway!!! I have very few freckles, and I am known for a tempest sort of temper when crossed.

Missie - I am a classic redhead and proud of it! I reside in NC with my husband and two cats, CeeCee and Katie. I run the Speech Language Pathology Assistant Program at the local community college and am also a Senior Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay. I recently lost 74 lbs (woohoo!) and am still losing. I feel terrific and my life is wonderful. Please feel free to drop me a line!

siouxb85304 - I am a mother of four children and now a grandmother of 4. Contrary to the belief of being a hothead, I am very easy going and use humor in most of my relationships with others. All of my life I have heard the statement "where did ya get your red hair" well duh, where did they get their hair?! But now as I am in with the babyboobmers, I constantly hear is that really your hair, well I am thinking maybe that is why I may aquire a temper. I do feel a kinship with other redheads, it's a lifestyle thing, having gone through the merits to get here. I love to swim, have cookouts poolside, and to travel, most say I am hyper always on the go, I love it! My dad named me sue because he grew up in Sioux City Ia. and when I was born with red hair and blue eyes, I was named after the song "sioux city sue hair of red and eyes of blue" that's a real old timer song. I have to say it's about time we have our own websight!

RedBlinkGirl - My name is Alexandra. I have lived in Florida since I was born. I am 15 years old and a student in 9th grade. Red Hair runs on both sides of my family. I am Irish and French. My skin is very fair as is common among most redheads and complete with plenty of freckles. I have one green eye and one blue eye. Currently I am 5'6.

BigDave - My name is David or Dave. I am one of the pink people. You know the kind that dosent tan, they just get red and I am always red. Any way I am one of those crazy redheads. I come up with the wierdiest stuff. I just like attention. I mean people look at me anyway why not keep them staring. Redhair just gives me alot of personality. I would never want to get rid of it. That would be a sin against the redhead gods.

kcrawf85 - My name is Kyle, and I am a natural red-head. I am 16 years old, and live in Houston, it's great. It is very sunny down here, so I get burnt alot, but thats ok. The girls are great, you just have to find the ones that like redheads. I love being a redhead and wouldn't trade anything for it. I like to have fun and live my life to the fullest, and I will be graduating highschool in 2003.

intrinsic - I grew up the daughter of electronics manufacturers. I learned what a resistor was and began living my life in that respect. Some place the blame on my being an Aquarius, I think it's a bit of both. Either way, I've always been different and unique, and might I add, damn proud of it!

I'm a creative thinker and have composed many short stories and novel ideas in past. Most of my creativity to date has come out in design form (example: http://intrinsic.nu).

mrredtwo - Hello My name is Andrew. I am 22 and live in the middle of Kansas, USA. I am 6'2" 190#. I am in my senior year at Wichita State University studying Business Managment Information Systems. I love to ride my horses and my motorcycle. I enjoy playing on my computers, I have a small network in my office. I plan to get a job as a Network Administrator as soon as I graduate. My grandmother on my father's side had strawberry red hair. My parents and my younger brother and sister all have dark brown hair. My older sister and I both have the same shade of red.

Sanvean - I may not have been born a redhead, but (as they say), I was born to be one. I'm 25 and have been coloring my hair various shades of red since I was 19. (Naturally, my hair is honey blonde, but I'm not sure anyone remembers this.) I'm a Big Sister, an animal-rescue volunteer, a professional journalist and (just recently) a fiancee. I love animals, listening reading (from romance novels to history tomes), the gardens at Michigan State University and my adorable and tolerant fiance, Jay.

Eden - There are lots of single words I use to describe myself: woman, American, writer, witch... but one word I'm really proud to use is "redhead." I live in northwestern Pennsylvania with my tall, dark, handsome man and my shorter, darker, incomparably cute Adventure Dog. My non-writing obsessions include The Sims, webpage futzing, RPGs and blogging (ie: writing, really). In better weather you can add biking and gardening to the list. "It takes a red-headed woman to get a dirty job done."

RaggadyA - For the first year of my life no one was quite sure what the color of my hair was gonna be.. I had none! Then right around my first birthday it started to come in and it was red. WIthin weeks my mom's hair was dyed to match mine. I was trained at an early age to respond "I got my red hair from my Grandpa" when people would stop me on the street. My hair has gone from Fiery red to fiery copper. I would not trade being a RED head for anything in the world!
