The Member Profiles.

toddj67 - Hello, I've been in the Army for a little over 19 years now, and am planning on retiring next summer. I love most sports, love to travel, and read. I have a pretty good sense of humor, I guess growing up redheaded you would have to have a good one. I have one son, he's 6, not a redhead. That's about it, I'm not too good at talking about myself. Thanks for reading and take care.

tracyrocks - Well, what can I say about myself? I am told I'm the stereotypical redhead - full of life, energy, passion, and fire! Of course, that's a double edged sword, but I'm finding as I get older, it's all working for me. Sure, there were the childhood/teenage years of being teased and called every name in the book, but I found once I went to college, that all changed. Then, I found the heads were turning towards me instead of away from me.

I am a very strong minded individual, who is never afraid to speak her mind (which does get me into trouble occasionally). The best thing of all though is turning 40 has made me realize that it doesn't make sense to try too hard to change who you are.

hotspur - Basically i am an uncensored auburn headed, candy loving, freckled, red dwarf quoting, bellbottom wearing, bacon eating, cartoon network and comedy central watching, rat-cuddling, adventure game playing, incense burning, paint-a-holic, illustration student who was raised by star trek/sci fi geeks, works at a shakespeare theatre and is addicted to the simpsons...no...really. i joke about most everything, but i'm not joking about that. in an ideal world i would be a voice acting, adventure game creating, money making, comedy writing, didjeridoo playing children's book illustrator who lived in a candy factory singing showtunes, eating sashimi, and running around with a toy lightsaber in my cowboy hat screaming "woo!", but last time i checked i was out of sashimi and my bed wasn't made of red hots and lollipops.

littlegodiva - I don't know what to say... I am vain about my red hair, almost to the point where it's a sickness :) I am fun; I like to try new and spontaneous things all the time. I like to go on major hikes, I like to shop, cook, and take moonlit walks along the beach (haha) I am a real red head, and always have been.

Jim - I'm a redhead who was adopted and grew up with a very non red head family. One and a half years ago I met my birth family and have been learning about my heritage ever since. Growing up I was facinated by every redhead I saw and I wondered "am I related to them?" Now I know.

Its been a wild ride lately and Its just now beginning to calm down. I have the same temper many have spoke of here, but it doesen't last long. Usually peaks on the road or trailering my boat at the ramp.

I'm 6'2", and nobody in my family knows where my height came from. They say you have to go back 2 generations to get to anyone near 6' in my family.

AuburnAna - Born on the Four of July! Believe it or not. It was 106 degrees (fahrenheit) that day and my family felt it appropriate I was born a redhead and fiercely independent. They had to leave the family Independence Day celebration in the park to go to the hospital when my mom went into labor. I am the nonconformist of my very redheaded family. My mom, aunt, uncle, and three cousins have red hair. Dad is a tall dark and handsome French man. My friends affectionately call me Cliff because I remind them of Cliff on the sitcom Cheers. They tell everyone to "go ask Ana. She knows everything." I also tend to say, "Did you know... ?" and spout out some interesting and hopefully useful trivia or information. (I think it is useful). I am constantly learning new things and enjoy finding out how stuff works. I build furniture, quilt, write and read (a lot!). My single woman friends call me when something in their home breaks or to help them assemble and install stuff. They tell me I need to have my own home improvement show.

Uri - Uriel Dana has been honored for her work as a fine artist, writer, and lecturer for over two decades, in 12 countries and 4 continents.

Gaelic_Girl - I've been a redhead my whole life. So has my mum, so has my grandmother, and even my VERY Scottish great-grandmother was known for twisting up her mass of fire-red hair into a long cord, slicing through the end (which reached her waist) with a sharp knife and tossing the handful into the fireplace. This was her version of a day at the salon. Of our long line of Celtic women, I'm the least practical and most emotional. But some of the things I've inherited directly (other than melanocortin 1) are a strong-willed independence, and a love of hard work, animals, and art. I'm engaged to an extremely supportive man who thinks redheads are goddesses (my mum approves) and we live together with two amazing cats and a bearded dragon.

Sugarplum - As a full time working parent I find myself rather busy most days, but I still find time to have fun and enjoy life. I love being unique in this world. Having red hair sets me apart from most people right from the start. I get teased a lot about an "irish temper" but I don't think that accurately describes who I am. I'm a perfectionist at heart and I know that I have high expectations. Perhaps I'm not as patient as I could be, but I don't think I have a temper. Long live redheads! heh.

Coppyrtop - I am incredibly proud to be a redhead. I feel that the uniqueness of the hair color helps to define the uniqueness of me and all other redheads. Rare, distinct and multifaceted. Personally, I have great appreciation for clever wordplay and ingenious ideas. A love of sarcasm, irony and wit. A healthy relationship with Reality and an illict affair with Fantasy. I would protect my TiVo with my life. And I have the incredible luck to be blessed with amazing family and friends without whom I'd be lost.

kevin_clarke - "Kevin is a being who lives within his own mind." A friend once said that about me (and I think she meant it as a compliment, but I'm not completely sure). It is true to a large extent. I am, for the most part, quiet and thought-ful. I also have a rebellious side and have spent many years in my life travelling around (wandering might be a more appropriate word, keeping in mind that "Not all who wander are lost"). Currently, I am happily married and the father of two beautiful (and incredibly smart, kind, and radiant) girls (in case you can't tell, they are most important 'things' in my life -- one, I should mention, is also redheaded). Hmmm, what else... I went to library school and currently work as a computer programmer in a library. My ultimate dream is to own a little land in the mountains of North Carolina. "All good things in all good time."

fieryangel - Virgo is as Virgo does! y'know, if you're into that sort of thing.

Red since birth but have never been teased about it...I think that makes me an oddity among oddities. woot!

The two things I do religiously are read and take photographs. Any redheads in my area? I'd love to get those copper locks preserved in pictures!

Endlessly fascinated by all things natural and it was on one such hunt for an 'explanation' of red hair that I found this site.

"Never underestimate the power of a redhead." Amen, sistah!

Herself - I live in a rural mountain area near Yosemite National Park -- a dream come true. My husband and my son are my best buddies, in addition to the six spoiled dogs that share my home. I was born a redhead, and thru the years have come to appreciate the little extra attention it gives me. I enjoy all music -- from Mozart to System of a Down... but especially love the sounds of nature (crickets, birds, et al). Generally, I spend way, way too much time on my laptop (I'm a Pogo-aholic). And, I'm a pacifist, animal and nature-loving atheist.

RedSandwich - I guess I'm your average crazy redhead. Classic theatrical and pyromaniacal tendancies, outgoing, a little nuts...

Red_Tide - I am an easy going guy... laid back, "a gentle spirit"... "tall, red and ... handsome???" I think I have a sense of humor. I am compassionate and passionate. I don't have the "typical" redhead temper... it is the atypical redhead temper. I have a L-O-N-G fuse and things seem to work out before the fuse gets anywhere close to being considered short. I would rather avoid confrontations and arguments but, allowed to continue, the fuse looses a wildman .... who runs amok for 30 seconds or so before I can grab him and stuff him back inside.

Tawhnee - I was the first grandchild in my family, on both sides. No one knew where the red hair came from. My mom used to to blame it on my dad, apparently he had reddish hair as a child. Then, I had cousins, on my mom's side. All redhead girls! So much for that theory.

Like alot of us, I hated having red hair as a child. Not only did I have red hair...I wore glasses, then got braces, and I had a weird name. I was screwed.

kwscottc - This is the coolest website around. It's about time the Red Heads of the World are acknowledged. We are an oppressed people and we deserve special rights. Fight the Power you all and lets take over the world... YEEE HAW!

bergiekat - Growing up I thought having red hair was a cruel twist, but with age I have truly grown to love my red locks. And to think we are now so fashionable without paying the big bucks!!! I love the people in the hair salons that ask, "is that your natural color?". Yep, you can't make this!

I am a very outgoing, fun-loving girl with a wicked sense of humor and I love people and animals! I am a very loving, caring, trusting person with a huge heart and sometimes it proves to get me into trouble. You can count on me through thick and thin, but should you ever break my trust, forget it! Along with the red hair comes the temper to match (just ask my poor husband). Adventure is my middle name. I'll try almost anything once and don't make me sit still or I'll go bananas!! I've got to be going, doing, anything stimulating to mind or body. I'm not a big fan of television, but would rather lose myself in some great music or a good book - or just hit the great outdoors. I love being in touch with my creative side, but there is definitely no budding Picasso here, LOL! Photography is a passion that I never get enough time to enjoy. Now THAT, I am good at.

Cindee - Well for starters.... I love my red hair! I hated it when I was young because it wasn't cool to be different... But now I embrace that!! I love when people ask what "bottle" I use and I can grin and say "It's natural." The looks are priceless!! I am a funloving person that enjoys spending time with my little boy and my friends. I consider my self a sweet person, but can be mean when I have to be. I love to laugh and make other people laugh. I love to help people when it is in my power to do so. Right now I am a single mother, but want very much to be able to reconstruct a family.

KrimsonKate - About me: I'm pretty simple...the only thing that sets me apart from the rest of the human race is my hair...I, too, am a Milkman baby. Rumors have it that a great-great Grandmother had red hair - but that has yet to be proven.

I love my family - they are my "Rock". I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for them. They keep me sane. Point me in the right direction. They are wonderful!

My greatest accomplishment is graduating from college with a BA in English Lit (not that I actaully use the degree in real life...) My goal in life is to have a family of my own to care for - to share with and to love. That's all I really ask for. Nothing more, nothing less.

Bandia_Rua - I was born on a Sunday, in the year of the Fire Dragon in the time of Scorpio. I attribute my Strawberry Locks to my Irish Ancestry (5th Generation Irish American) A few people in my family have a similar shade of hair as I do.

I am married to another Gorgeous Ginger haired hunk of a man and love him to bits! We have a little boy and a little girl who wound up with gingery hair too! I hope they will know how blessed they are...lol

redkeith - I come from a family of redheads. My grandfather and father were both known as 'ginger' and I have carried on the tradition. My oldest son is a redhead -bright copper - I am sure he will appreciate more as he gets older. The family has real celtic blood - welsh and scottish. I am told I am a placid guy but I have a short quick temper - but soon forgotten.

S2Victoria - 20 Year old. College student currently in my junior year. Work full time day job, and part time night job, also pursuing bachelors degree in Business admninistration. Outgoing, Funny, Spends most of my time with my family or small circle of close friends enjoying things like movies, the beach, sports, music, and cars. Laughing and making people smile are my favorite things to do. No children, live at home and take care of my mother who has a terminal illness. Three sisters, two of which are also redheads.

jonnyminer - Just completed an MA in American Studies in New York City, and I'm back in the Pioneer Valley. I'm trying to make it back to NYC twice a month or so, but I haven't been able to realize that goal yet. I love Northampton, but I've lived in other great places, like the aforementioned NYC, San Francisco, and Manchester, Connecticut.

I love coffee, various unadviseable breakfast cereals, and Newcastle beer. I'm an ardent socialist, but I have nearly no idea what I'm talking about. I love the outdoors, but after an indoorsy upbringing, I have to be dragged outside in order to remember. I like literature, but I'm picky, and I have a terribly short attention span for reading. I'm earnest, I'm goofy, I'm dead serious.

fyrchc - I can be a quiet, shy person until someone gets to know me. Then there are other times that I speak my mind (I think thats part of being a redhead). I do have somewhat of a temper, but it doesnt always show. I like to hang out with friends or stay home and cuddle with my man. I used to not like being a redhead, but once I got older, it seems like that everyone loves a redhead and it seems that "Redheads do it Best".

redhead1045 - First thing people have always noticed about me is my hair; I have often been referred to as "that redhead." I do think my hair color has also reflected some of my personality traits as well. I am a person who feels emotions deeply and have a definite passionate side. Patience is definitely not on my list of strengths. When choosing to buy an article of clothing I always gravitate towards the green shades; as everyone knows a redhead looks great in green. I enjoy music, songwriting and singing. I am a catperson having four furry children in addition to my daughter. I like old houses, nature, reading and exercising. Major turnoffs are people who are superficial and contractors who do not show up for the job! I do enjoy being a redhead indeed.

Kellilee - Hi! I am a Kindergarten teacher and am engaged to my wonderful fiance, Ed. We will be married this upcoming July (woo hoo!) after six years together. We have three adorable pet bunnies and serve at First Baptist Church here in PA. I love collecting candles, frogs, ladybug and bumblebee stuff, going to flea markets and watching "Law and Order". I'm also going to become a godmom this November!!

onefivefive - Loving life! Gearing up for the future now that I've got that "life's companion" thing figured out... I'm generally in the CoA or playing tourist around town. Or taking a nap. I like to think I'm not a typical redhead, I am pretty freaking opinionated. I guess I just dislike being classified before someone even gets to know me.

redbeauty - well what can i say im a redhead, very passionate about everything i do. I have grown to have passion for the color of my hair since growing up i didnt like it, i have grown it out down to my waist, all natural never dyed. I would say i have a strong personality, very assertive, go after what i want in life. Being 5'10 , red hair and green eyes i have never had a problem standing out or being noticed. This is great finding a site dedicated to redheads im happy to join.

Pinback - Wow! The first place I don't have to go and tell everyone "well, I have red hair". :)

The older I get, the less of that "red-head" temper I seem to have. Hoping it almost entirely goes away. I love to be creative. It's easy to make me laugh, and I have a great time no matter where I go. A party can be fun, but I really enjoy being able to get away from it all or to explore new places. I love an adventure!

Sapphire - I'm the type of person that everyone desribes as a "trip" or a "riot." I'm a chatterbox and love to talk to any and everybody. Everyone might have an opinion but I usually make sure that people know mine! I like science fiction including Star Trek and Stargate SG1 and I love to read. No, I'm not a natural redhead but I've bounced around from haircolor to haircolor since I was fourteen, changing drastically about every 6 months. I had done red twice before and when I decided to grow my hair out a year ago I knew that I needed to pick one color and stick with it, but which felt the most like me? Red, of course!

Bunnicula - Hello!! I'll start by saying that I drink obscene amounts of milk, yet I'm a sucker for a beer(warm or cold).I consider myself friendly, but I wish I could be a little more aggressive at times because I can be a total push-over. On any given day you can find me daydreaming out my window looking at nothing in particular, I just like to relax with my thoughts in my own world. It might be the pisces in me. Rainy days are my favourite, it helps because it rains ALOT where I live. I talk loud or shall I say I have a big voice and I dance like an idiot, but I have a great time. I love to meet people whose word or handshake is as solid as a written contract. There are so few people like that. I'd like to add that a boy I had a crush on in highschool told a friend of mine that he would'nt date me because of the colour of my hair, some people eh?

Lepricorn - After getting out of my cav, hidding out from people constantly making fun of me because of my redheadness (with my mother and sister who hid with me), I met my wife (a strawberry blond). I am a Master Students and are looking for proving the world that we are a distinct race (but not as part of my thesis, everyone are looking at me kind of strange when I am gesticulating like crazy trying to demonstrate my argument).

LdyLRen - I'm a 22 yr old redhead for life. I enjoy the quite life, but the sparks of red always fly when needed. Like all red heads people tried to call me carrot top or red and I will not answer. being a redhead is a privilege not a right. I got voted best hair senior year, such sweet satisfaction to me. I enjoy all areas of life. I would call me self eclectic and eccentric. Live life to the fullest.

red_hed - Hi! I'm a fun, easy going girl who is always on the run. I love to meet new people. My hobbies include: cars, racing, skiing, billiards, working out, softball, and boats (I love living on the coast!). My family is most important to me and I am very close to my sister (a brunette) who is 18 mos older than me. I also have a red-fur dog, a Shiba Inu, who is my baby! If you don't know what one looks like, look it up... Oh, and due to popular belief, I am a redhead WITHOUT a temper! :)

SparklyBee - Apparantly when i was younger I showed the more fiery side of my personality, at the age of three throwing tantrums all the time and at five throwing food under the dinner table at school that I didn't like! I've now calmed down a bit from that stage but am known to not go by what others tell me to do and am argumentative about anything and everything! On the good side I am really a sweet caring loving person and this is the side I usually show....

Quarla - I don't know if I can get described as your typical redhead since I've never had any as RL friends. I'm not even sure I like or dislike my hair. I always hated it when I was younger but that was mainly because my mother forced me to keep it long when I hated to brush it, but I do admit the reandom comments from people have always annoyed me. I only really love it when it's in the sun and it shines all those pretty warm shades of gold and red. But I do get insulted when people ask if it's real or fake. And I remember one time in one of my classes we were playing a guessing game in German and this girl was describing me but said I had brown hair. Made me very upset!

lawmike - Law student at Rutgers University in Camden. New to the area, just looking to meet new friends. I'm very easy going and would like to meet some nice people from the area. I'm usually on IM so that's probably the best way to contact me. Anyone that can make fun of themselves and knows how to laugh would be preferable. Drop me a note when you get a chance! :) See you soon!

Travis - I don't have much of personal life beyond a few friends and my family. I basically hate having red hair. I was teased, beaten, and threatened in school. I came out of childhood feeling extremely unattractive and those feelings persist today. I've been working on changing that about myself, but it hasn't been easy. I really just would rather change my hair color and self-tan than deal with it. I'm really not this depressing in person, but I do have a very low self-esteem. I don't approach women because of it, and few if any over the years have approached me and that just fuels my insecurities. It's a vicious cycle. If anyone has had similar experiences but were able to overcome them better than I, I'd like to hear from you. Thanks.

Auburn_Scot - Three words to describe me; Direct, Creative, Extrovert. I am a goal-oriented person who is passionate about everything I do. I am a smart person with a lot of creativity. I am going to college to become a Graphic Designer and hopefully get out of the midwest. My ancestry is traced back to Scotland, hence the red hair, and ideally I'd like to live there one day. I want to marry "my own kind" (a redhead) someday, and am looking for that special someone.

Sexy_Licious - I love working out, swimming, biking, and nature walks. I love art in any form. I have music flowing in my blood, (Thanks, Dad.) I love to read but it gets me in trouble because I end up reading all night long! I found this website after searching for redhead makeup tips! Oh and trust me, I have the redhead temper to boot. Just ask my mom and my brother. Oh yeah! I have a twin brother, he's blonde. I love to argue, and that gets me in trouble quite often as well! I will argue the heck out of something, even if I know I'm wrong. I'm also incredibly stubborn. I hate admitting it, but I know it's true. I'm not sure how pertinent it is, but I am a lesbian. I do not have a girlfriend at the moment, but am talking to a special someone. I love drag shows and gay bars. And I have many many gay/drag queen/king friends. I'm not ashamed a bit! I don't change for anyone, if someone doesn't like me, oh well. :) And oh, I'm very honest. I also like to volunteer. I volunteer in the summers as a counselor at special needs dermatology camps, one in california, and one in minnesota. Yes, and I get my fair share of lectures by the dermatologists when I get a sunburn, which is inevitable despite sunscreen, I know a lot of you can empathize!

BParks - Outgoing, adventurous person with vast life experieces. Everything from sailing 23,000 ocean miles on a 40' sailboat to riding 25,000 miles through 48-states on a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle with my goggle-wearing Golden Retriever in a sidecar. Life is to be lived. I'll rest when I'm dead.

AmandaJean - Growing up redheaded in Southern California was an angst ridden experience. I was the kid at the beach in the T-shirt and SPF 50 sunblock. No bikinis for me! Lol. But what they said was true, by the time I grew up, I had come to love my red hair. I now work in the software industry in a cold and cloudy city... trying not to cause too much trouble for those around me. But sometimes it's hard to bite my tongue.

Finn - I was born and raised in Dublin Ireland, and moved to the states with my Wife and Son. I was in the Irish Military (NOT the IRA) for almost 10 years. I have been working as a state corrections officer for over a year now, and have plans to get my degree in Criminal Justice and possibly become a probation Officer. I love watching WWE, Sherlock Holmes Stories, Anything to do with Boats especially Sailing, and Maritime History.

MysticDalia - Very eclectic -Seminole Indian- Scotch-Irish girl with roots in pagan and native american spirituality. About 5'8 and heavier than I would like to be, but taking it off. I am very creative and outgoing. I open up quickly to people but slam that door just as fast if my friendship is betrayed. Yes...you can say I am firey!

Coppertina - Intense & sometimes just tense redhead here wanting to bond with fellow reds, sometimes feeling surrounded by bottled reds (they're a dime a dozen here in the San Fran area) & friends mentioning "redheads" they know who turn out to be brunets & blonds. Haven't had a redheaded friend since high school. Why is this important? I don't know yet. Maybe some of you can tell me. Perhaps it's that relentless teasing we're forced to grow up with - what doesn't kill you...etc...But it's gotta leave a mark. Yet, until the 'net, we've been so widely distributed, we can't gather en masse....Redheads unite & conquer!....oh wait....maybe that's what this site is for?!

daygloeskimo - i'm a college student at san diego state, i've always hated writing about myself, but i guess i've got to get over seventyfive words. i'm a typical college student, i do all the "bad" things that we college students tend to do. i like to hang out with my friends, chill and party. you only live once, and i'm trying to make the most of it. i'm an art major, everyone seems to think that's a co-out major, but we do actully have to do work, we can just watch tv at the same time.

stardismoon - Best word to describe me is "passionate"...I live life to the fullest! I have a ten year old daughter who is my light :) I live in downtown Baltimore. I love city life! But I can also appreciate the outdoors and nature...love to go camping and absolutely LOVE the beach at night. So drop me a line ;)

michelle68 - Just trying to figure out which came first the chicken or the egg.... Some are born others are created.....and who was it that said "man that thing that just came out of the chicken's sure looks tasty"?..ok all the redheaded characteristics, I've got um...and I'm a taurus. Just returned home from a two year trip through the Caribbean. Now back to life, back to reality and it does bite.

Naohma - I am an outgoing, friendly, happy go lucky person most of the time. I love mornings, I love rainy days, and snow is pretty cool too. I am an animal lover, particularly Akita's. Of course, my darker side...I am tempermental at times, jealous at times, and even in the most mundane of situations...I am dominant and strong willed. I will always get what I set out for! I am a doting mother and girlfriend. I have a small circle of very close friends and a large circle of pals! I love with a vengence, am very passionate about what I believe in. I am pagan and have been for years. My best friend is a redhead also...hmmm, go figure!

RadioGuy - I hated being a redhead growing up but now I think its pretty cool. I am a broadcast engineer for a radio network that broadcasts NASCAR races. Its a great job and I love it. I have been in radio since 1988 doing ever single job there was to do but I have found the job I hope to retire from.

rdheadguy - I'm a simple person, I like to have a laugh and goof off ocasionally, but I also have morals and standards to live by. I must admit I'm the shy type but not to shy. I don't do parties much and I don't drink or smoke. I there is any to be had, I like good wholesome fun. I have a kind of sentimental outlook on life; I cherish memories, especially from my chilhood and I like to dream about people, placs, and events in my future to come. I guess to sum myself up, I'm the type of guy who follows the rules and lives by my religion, but I can also enjoy and have a laugh while watching a show like the simpsons.

dubmango - I'm currently a sophomore at University of Wisconsin-Madison, but I'm originally from Hawaii. I'm just hanging out in this crazy limbo land that is being not quite a teenager and not quite an adult. I'm studying environmental studies, and hope to travel the world and feel like I'm making at least a little difference in something. I can be pretty emotional, and I find my emotions are most closely represented by the music that I listen to, the films that I watch and the art that I pretend to know about. I don't like to assign labels to myself, but I guess 'stoner' might be one that most closely represents me. I miss Hawaii more than anything in the world, but Wisconsin is my new home... for now.

oceanbreeze - Im 26 and always hated having red hair when i was younger I used to dye it BLONDE, but now that im a little older i have come to realize how much i LOVE having red hair. Its different and it's not boring, Im very outgoing and friendly. And maybe a tad sarcastic. Im glad i came across this site, it will be good to meet redheads around the world. I am glad to see however i am not the only one with the Irsih temper.

Sarah_Mc - I have a hard time describing myself, I guess quirky would be the best fit. I love new adventures and try to experience them as often as possible. I hate to be bored! Despite my daily quest for new things, I am actually pretty shy and have a hard time meeting new people. I grew up being a navy brat and moved quite frequently, the last count was 37 times. As some of you have shared, being a red-headed kid is not the easiest thing and if you toss in always being the new kid, you can understand why I was so shy! However, I did learn to love the outdoors because of my lack of friends. I grew up with horses and I still love to ride, I also have a degree in painting and enjoy expressing myself through different mediums. Currently, I am a graphic designer living in the mountains of North Carolina.

IrishLass70 - I grew up despising my red hair and fair skin and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. As I've gotten older, I've watched so many women try to achieve the color of hair I have to no avail and have realized the uniqueness of it. That combined with my quest to discover my Celtic heritage has brought me here.

Jono - Im open minded 24 year old, a bit shy at first but strong. I like watching films/TV & going to pubs to seeing friends.I know a lot about computers but that's the Job I do. I'm 6' tall with the ginger hair and blue eyes. I live in the UK in a small city near Bristol. At the moment I am trying to start up a small business that has been taking up a lot of my time. I am also into mountain biking a certain extreme sport called Downhill.

tinalouise - I was born bald, adopted at 6 days old and supposedly my parents were matched to my birth parents, who all have dark hair. Imagine their surprise when my hair was red when it finally grew in! I hated being a redhead when I was young - everyone loved and commented on it, which I didn't enjoy (at the time, anyway!). I told them it was auburn, thinking that was better (it really wasn't auburn though) ... finally, as I reached high school and college, I learned to love red hair!

JoelAmos - I'm a Christian. I take my faith seriously. I'm and optimist and pretty intelligent. I'm very respectful and forgiving. I'm really funny and enjoy keeping things pretty light. I tend to be quiet until I get to know people: "Better to be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt." I enjoy football particularly. I am a dedicated friend that believes that friendship means something, so I don't offer it lightly because it comes with understood duties and obligations.

wendi - My name is Wendi. I am 29 yrs old and the mother of one. I am married to Mike to whom I have been with since I was 15. I finally have my own family. This includes our 2 cats & dogs. I work in a credit union which I do everything from teller work to loans to IRAs. I am a conservative Republican & vote that way!!
