truckinggirl - Old Fashion Country Girl that likes to let her hair down now and then. I am a very loyal, honest and dependable person. I love to laugh & make people laugh. My nickname is Scrat, don't even ask me why I was given the name - lol. I am a Texan but I love driving all over the country and getting to see what's out there. I love my family and friends and love learning new things.
lckyth1rt33n - I'm about 5'2" athletic build (i.e. big boobs smaller waist and big butt n muscular thighs). I have fair shin, light blue eyes, and long wavy auburn hair that reaches the small of my back. I always have my nails done and i dont wear much makeup. when i was younger i used to hate being a redhead but now i love it. im pretty sarcastic n people say i have an attitude but i just state my oppnion a lot. however im also fun, and outgoing.
RedScot - I'm a witty, intelligent, straight-shooting woman. I'm
Direct:
Direct people are a joy to be around.
We never have to guess what they're really thinking or feeling,
because they're honest about their thoughts & openly express
their feelings.
We never have to wonder if they're with us because they want to
be, or if they're there out of guilt & obligation.
When they do something for us, we don't have to worry whether
they'll end up resenting us because direct people generally do
things that please themselves.
We don't have to fuss about the status of our relationship
because if we ask, they'll tell us.
We don't have to worry if they're angry because they deal openly
with their anger & resolve it quickly.
We don't have to ponder whether they are talking about us behind
our backs because if they have something to say, it will be said
to us directly.
We don't have to wonder if we can rely on them because direct
people are trustworthy.
I love animals, especially cats of all flavors, and am
environmentally active.
evil_twin2 - I am VERY confident and outspoken, if you don't want to hear the truth then don't ask. I can be stong and independent but I can also be understanding and compassionate, with a softer side when I need to be. I have a great sense of humor and love to have fun with my friends. I was widowed in November and I am finding myself, having alot of fun on my journey.
ReddCurrlz - Ok, normally I start by saying I'm a sassy, spicy, redhead . . . but since this is the Realm of Redheads, all of us aare sassy and spicy; soooooo, I am a gorgeous, curvy, redheaded woman with a zeal for life and living life to the fullest. Lover of laughter and the lighter side of life.
SFredhead - Greetings! I have many nicknames that have stemmed from the color of my hair, but the one I answer to most frequently is Bluey. It was given to me by one of my Australian friends - "Bluey" is the Aussie nickname for people with red hair. I have to admit, it's a lot more original than "Red."
Was born in southern New York State, spent many years living in the great state of Oklahoma, and currently reside in the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm currently single, have no children, and work as an artist and writer when I'm not out at the barn playing with my horse. I am also proud to be a 10-year breast cancer survivor.
CleatsnChoos - WOW! So everyone used to say when I was younger growing up with 2 sisters 1 blonde 1 brunette, I rather be dead then red on the head and plenty of bad things. Now I get "Is that real?" Oh I love redheads. I have grown to love my hair and appreciate all Redheads!!!
rktsci - I've always said, jokingly, that redheads are their own minority. Of course, only someone who grew up being the only redhead in their class really knows what that means. Most people just don't get it. There is a badge of honor to having red hair, and the recent trend of people dying their hair red irritates me. Nice to have a website full of folks that know what I mean by all of this. Don't get me wrong though, I'm not bitter.
daylily9 - It took me a long time to get used to my red hair and freckles - i hated them as a child. Now i find that my hair starts conversations and is one of my best assets. Summertime always brings out the gold highlights in my hair, and the freckles all over. I am a beach lover, who coud live in the sun forever.
Gabiredhead - I am the quintessential redhead: opinionated, passionate, loud, curious, and stubborn. But that is tempered with a dash of creativity and not a little silliness.
My passion is writing. If I had to choose between writing and breathing- I would hold my breath and type faster!
I am currently writing the best book for redheads, those who are in love with a redhead, are trying to raise a redhead, have a redhead fetish, or are planning to become a redhead. The book is called 'The Quintessential Redhead, and captures the essence of what it means to have fiery hair without revealing our mystery!
Buckeye_Red - Good day to you! Here is some information about me. I'm a 41yr old average looking redheaded guy! I'm an old school romantic thats very spontainious, and who enjoys cooking on the grill year round, getting away on weekends to log cabins with fireplaces, sitting in jacuzzi's, and listening to good music with a very romantic partner, plus I very much enjoy candelite dinners for two. I am a father of three, a 21yr old son who attends college and lives on his own, a 18yr old son who is currently serving in the US Marines and heading to Iraq soon, and a 15yr old daughter who lives with her mother, but visits me often. I've been at my job for the past 19 years, and I'm very stable in the career department. I love to watch and listen to a good thunderstorm in the evening. I really love to cook, and I can clean just as well! I love to go on vacations, or just weekend getaways. I am very handy around the house. I also love my sports, (what guy doesn‰t?) and spending evenings at home cuddled on the couch with a special woman (when I find her) engaged in conversation while candles burn, or watching a good movie. And having my morning coffee is always must! My photo's are recent, and this is what I look like today. I thank you, and I apprieciate you taking the time to read this.
Chucks_pain - You know that guy who always tells you the truth no matter what? If not, you should. That‰s me! My mom said it all started when my father spun me to fast on the park merry-go-roud, sending me plummeting to shocking asphalt rebirth. I think it started before that, but you gotta respect your mom.
Since the merry-go-round incident, I‰ve been playing guitar (both kinds: bass and 6 string), watching lots of movies, living life, learning a thing or two and growing into the swell guy that you are reading about now.
Punkee - People always compliment me on my hair. But they don't know how weird it really is to be a non-conformist when you're five. Also, looking at group photos of when you're young is way too easy for people to pick you out. Just look for the redhead and its automatically you.
topher - well im a really mellow person most of the time and i just like to hav a good time with people that are cool like red heads. im about six feet tall and in good shape. that a bout it im really not into myself that much to go on about it.
Felix - Hi where to start well i am a allmost 20 year old male from denmark, i saw that there where no redhaired representatives from my country so i figured that since iam not alone...i could just as well be the first, i use most of my time studying and working in a library, iam mayoring in bio-chemestry, i see my hair as a big part of my identety and hopefully it will be long before i will have to cut it again ;D
Henrik_AA - A redhead from Denmark. Found the website in a major Danish paper that ran a series of articles on red heads and beeing a red head. I'm an officer in the Danish Army currently stationed with the Royal Guards in Copenhagen (Capital of Denmark).
As a curious little fact I noticed that out of 25 cadets on my own infantry commanders course 5 (including myself) were red heads. Maybe there is a connection between having red hair and a desire to lead (eg. Churchill ect.)
FairLainy - My name is Heather, im 21(almost 22) and I live in College Station, Tx, Home of the Texas A&M Aggies. I have two dogs, a great dane named Isabel and a mastiff/great dane mix named Madison. Im newly single and a fun loving person. I can easily put it with, my nickname is Flirt. Thats about it, if you want to know more, im sure i can fill you in.
Tobias - I'm a Dane from Copenhagen. I'm a musician, design trader and model. I have found out how amazing a brand my haircolour is, so my interrest in our lovely haircolour has risen.
angelred - Irish/ scottish heritage. I am easy going going with at times too much compassion. I have a deep interest in 15th century history Europe.
userjess3426 - I love working with kids my five neices and nephews are my whole life. I love my husband and my family. I love my two pet rats and my two cats. I'm just on here to have fun:) I am working on getting my bachelor's degree in early childhood education. I have my associates degree right now in it. I work with toddlers at a daycare center right now:) I love to read a lot and I write in my spare time:)I volunteer at a crisis center in my spare time I love to help people. I am very shy in person until I get to know people. There is really not a lot more to say I'm just your typical person:)
NaturalRed - CONGRADULATIONS!!! YOU ARE THE 50TH PERSON TO READ THIS LOG--YOU WIN $50! Yeah I hate those ADs too. Oy! Anywoo, just who am I?...WELL since you asked, I happen to be a natural red AND the only one in my familiness. I ABOSOLUTLY love being a redhead and not a speck of dye will ever touch my hair. And my freckles...DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED on those...instead of "going tanning" I go...freckling. Yeah I'm a freak I know. All those who know who know me call me Gracy or Amellia, it's great. So I'm fun..I'm beautiful...and I love to keep myself entertained--(it's amazing how many uses you can find for a paperclip) I absouluty love chocolate ice cream with hot caramel.
Irishanam21 - I love history..especially Irish, the Roman Empire during Augustus and Medieval--all about the Knights;) I write TONS in my spare time about all kinds of things but fiction and leaning toward romance. I work for the Salvation Army..go to church there as well. I'm also 25, addicted to buying books wether at the thrift store i work at or on amazon... It's bad really;)
redhead_film - Self-actualization; I dont think Ive ever actually figured out anything about myself. Never one moment. Never one revelation. No light bulbs like in cartoons. Id like to think Ive learned some things. I actually think its easier to actualize someone else. You dont have a predisposition, a bias. She doesnt love me. I learned that tonight when she answered the door. "Hi," "Hi." I brought her a flower. "I thought Id stop by to see how you were doing." "Im doing all right. Got a lot of work done today." I stood framed in the awkward metal door She stood 5 feet away. Its a complete disregard of friendship. She forgets we are friends because I am no longer a friend, but a friend who is interested, which nullifies the first part I guess. I didnt know what to think on my walk home. I didnt even know if I was upset or not. Just another failure, another wasnt meant to be? I dont know. Am I upset because she doesnt like me, or am I upset because someone doesnt like me? Because theres never a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, and the rainbow gets steeper, and the colors get darker and duller, and that fucking leprechaun wont stop pestering me to buy his damn cereal. My mind wanders. I dont know what Im to think. Well, see, books and movies tell me Im supposed to be upset, and I am, I know that, but who gets the credit, this girl or Natalie Portman, Claire Danes, Clea Duval? The real loves and losses in my life. See I think I know who Im supposed to be and I cant actually be who I am if Im trying to be myself. Thus negating self-actualization via a predisposition a bias.
Alucard - well i am fun seeking misile. Irish Ox is a good way to discribe me. i am very handy to have around. i can fix about anything, including a frown. I'm a great cook, watch out ladies i may kick ya outta my kitchen. i luv the lake, i camp alot. fun to be ahd in everything. luv to take pictures. i am semi pro, if ya want some pics done..... i am 4:20 friendly, drink a bit. dont smoke ciggarettes. luv to BBQ so if ya wanna throw some steaks on the grill, lets party.
Quisira - Hmmm... I consider myself fairly good-natured and sweet most of the time. I only fit the redhead-stereotype if somebody really makes me angry. But then watch out. I prefer a small group of good reliable friends to a huge party of strangers. But I am always interested in having good conversations with interesting strangers as well. I am on the brainy side and I'm the hunter-type who likes challenges. The more the better. I am more on the serious side, so I like people who make me laugh.
tawandalou - I work for the taxpayers of the great State of Oregon trying to help as many people as the law allows. Maybe if we ever get a decent governor, I can do more...
I'm usually quite adventurous when it comes to food, though I really can't abide figs or marshmallows. With kids living in Louisiana, I've learned to love all facets of southern cooking, especially Cajun and barbeque, which I discovered when I lived in North Carolina. I'm always open to swapping recipes.
redgrrl - celt
librarian
instigator
misanthrope
coy coquette
smartarse siren
languidly libidinous
college professor
erudite troublemaker
debauched dilettante
irreverent redhead
bold as brass and twice as shiny
and is always, forever, and unceasingly unrepentant
sistersa -
I am kinda shy but I love to have a good time. I am in the Army and currently in Iraq. I can't wait to go home so I can finish college and start teaching. I love children and am so excitied to start a family. I am very shy at first but once you get to know me I am usually the loud one of the group.
KaraRain - I suppose my husband would describe me as firey and passionate. (and he describes himself as very lucky) My daughter would describe me as strong and funny. I don't know how to describe myself without sounding like I've got a huge ego. So I guess I'll start off with Confident, a bit rebellious, creative, eccentric and in the words of a friend "nice, but a bit goofy".
DesertFlower - I'm a returning student, completing my work in child development. I'm looking forward to landing my dream job in my chosen profession (I love to work with kidsÖI can't wait!). I like to try new things and am usually the one signing my friends up for things they never would have thought to do on their own! (They usually end up thanking me for it at some point!)These are the passions in my life: Reading (I go through a book a week and yes, I'm that girl that's flipping the pages even when I'm standing in line at the bank), my extended family which is HUGE; travel (I've seen a great deal of the U.S., including Hawaii, and the U.K., France and Mexico); and then there's my four Australian Shepherds. . .
redbat - Hmmm... Having to describe myself is a bit odd, but I'd have to say that I'm fun, a little shy, just a little bit stubborn (really!) and I absolutely love to laugh.
I inherited my red hair from my maternal grandmother. She had three children--none of whom had red hair. Each of them, though, wound up having one redheaded child apiece!
I didn't like being different when I was little--and HATED being called "carrot-top." Now, though, I'm quite proud to be one of the few, thankyouverymuch. In fact, I LOVE being a redhead--being unique and intriguing to people--how can you go wrong with that?
1_ta2d_cutie - I'm a pretty easy going kind of girl...with a bit of a devil inside. I believe that I've had just about every redhead stereotype attached to me at one point or another, true or not (not that I really give a damn). I admit that I can be a bit of a wild one, and that my temper may be a bit unpredictable, but I can also be the best friend a person will ever have if they bother to look a little deeper. I have learned the hard way how quickly the important things can be lost, so now I just do my best to enjoy life as much as possible, and share the good times with great friends and my loving family.
Ashley - I am fun and loud. I am ambitious and determined. I always want to meet new people, try something new, or go on an adventure. I am devoted to my friends and family. I am very optimistic, the glass is always half full in my world. I try to make the best of every situation and I have fun where ever I am. I am spontaneous and when I decide I want to do something, yesterday couldn't be fast enough.
LadyRedMane - I'm relatively laid back and easy going. The typical redheaded temper is there; however, it normally takes a lot to fire it and then it normally disappears quickly. I'm past the point of carrying grudges. They are too heavy and weigh me down.
I'm told I have a great sense of humor. I enjoy using it to put a smile on a person's face; especially when they've had a bad day. I can normally find a funny comeback for many every day questions.
MC1R2 - I am a native upstate New Yorker although I've lived in Ohio for almost ten years. Friends, family, and loyalty are extremely important to me. When I was younger, I used to have extremely long hair and listened/played in heavy metal bands. The long hair is gone, but I occasionally like to listen to 80's metal. I'm usually pretty quiet when you first meet me, but I open up quickly and eventually it's hard to shut me up!
Chani - Being a redhead is a huge part of my identity. Perhaps other redheads can relate - as a child I spent a lot of time playing outside and my hair was very blondy-red. I actually remember the moment I realised I was a redhead, it was life-changing and terrifying. I was absolutely crushed that I was not a blonde.
Throughout my childhood and early adolescence I hated my hair and wished it was a different colour. Children can be cruel and with my red locks I felt very much the outsider in the schoolyard and endured much teasing and mockery.
It was only in my late teens that I made peace with my genes, accepted and grew to love my red hair, gave up on my freckles disappearing, embraced the unruly curls and became proud to be a natural born redhead.
Nichole - Hello! My name is Nichole and of course I am a
redhead! I am, strangely, the only redhead in my family!
Well, it has been said that there is a distant cousin or
two with red hair, but certainly no one in my immediate
family.
I'm a pretty introverted person I guess you could say. I'm
content spending hours by myself, but I get along well with
pretty much anyone, as long as their nice.
I'm currently in college majoring in psychology. Anything
else, just ask!
Mdsdance - I am a female cuban redhead with brown eyes, who happens to be lefthanded. I am a dancer, ballet and flamenco mostly, like to read and currently learning to figure skate. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida and currently studying and trying to finish to be a teacher. I like to smile alot and love Disney. I work with emotionally disturbed children and hope to open a program for dance movement therapy in Miami along with a dance studio. I love to choreograph dances and I am extremely creative. Well thats me and Im proud of it. smiles.
lissa_lou - Yeah...well, I'm Malissa (though I do LOVE being called Lissa, long story). My life is boring to me but tattered to others. I am a registered, certified medical assistant (overrated) which sucks, so I quit my job for nursing school! I have a boyfriend who I love madly, and am probably marrying soon (maybe so soon this won't even be posted yet) and two pet rabbits that are so spoiled rotten. I am a geek who loves to cruise around in my PT Cruiser and play board games. (But I am a wild woman in bed-haha!)
momof3 - I am a stay at home mother with three boys, none of which have red hair but my parents and sister are all redheads. I didn't like being "different" when I was growing up, but around the age of twenty, I really began to embrace the idea of being unique. I occasionally meet other people with red hair and I usually feel drawn to them. I guess that's why this website is so interesting to me.
green_eyes - As a 4'11" redhead I have always been different. My gene is prominent throughout my family with 3 in the two generations before me. I live in a beautiful condo in Northern California with my boyfriend of over 2 yrs and my shadow, I mean my miniature schnauzer, Joey. My best friend (since the beginning of high school) is also a redhead, and just had a beautiful redhaired little baby girl... we instantly bonded the day we met. I think I have surpassed the 75 word target, so if there are any questions just ask.
chris_green - I am a proud redhead. In the UK there are still ginger jokes knocking around - it's time we went through the stage of not finding them funny. As true redheads get rarer we must embrace our uniqueness and beauty. Much of my work on stage is in response to having red hair - either directly or very subtly. I am planning a big event at the Tate Gallery in London where we celebrate the redheads in art, and punters with red hair are instantly higher status than any others. A VIP room will be provided for those who have won the gene pool lottery of that beautiful recessive gene. Any Uk redheads who want to get involved get in touch.
phlebotnum - I love reading Modern literature, contra dancing, watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer, brewing mead, trying new cheesecake recipes, and becoming the best Shakespearean-actor groupie I can be. For years, I have answered to both my name (Abby) and "that smart redheaded chick." I made my peace with this around the age of 17.
Reddy2Rock - Like so many people here, I spent my youth cursing the hair gods! I knew when I turned 16, I was SO dyeing my hair. But it seems when I turned that age, that even though I didn't like it, I was okay with the color and couldn't imagine it any other way. I was the only redhead in my family and grew so tired of hearing "where did you get your red hair," that my mom died hers red and has been a redhead ever since. My sister came along when I was 16 and although she started out as a blonde, her hair changed colors and now she's a darker strawberry blonde. So,once while entering a club the bouncer proceeded to tell me that redheaded women are either really gorgeous or dog ugly. Of course, I looked at him with a raised brow to see which he considered me... He said, "Gorgeous, of course." I laughed. Another fool who didn't understand the redhead mystique! You can keep your bottled blondes or Kate Jackson brunettes, I'll stick with the esteemed ladies who have made it cool to be a redhead: Maureen O'Hara, Lucille Ball and one of my personal faves, Bonnie Raitt! Rock on redheads!
krimzenloks - I'm a crazy, western girl, in Nashville about six years now. I can be wild at times but I do have a soft heart and love for uniqueness in people. I believe our smiles are hints about our true selves. ;) When home alone I enjoy 'Law and Order,' reading a good novel or watching a rented film from the comfort of my couch, unless I'm doing chores with football/baseball on TV or one of my coveted CDs blaring on the stereo. I love movies, sporting events, Seinfeld, and general good humor. Mostly, I laugh. I have sarcastic tendencies and enjoy the company of fun-loving brainiacs above others! I enjoy traveling and have been getting to know the nooks and crannies of the eastern U.S. Sometimes I stop at a playground just to try the swings.
RedHotMama - Born with a full head of red hair, I really shocked my parents! Later on it turned strawberry, then back to red and then strawberry again. My daughter also has my colour hair! I've always loved being a redhead-so different from everyone else. I was never teased as a child about my hair, but always envied by my mothers friends who had to pay to have my colour hair ;)
tamzilla - I consider myself to be a down to earth person with no drama. I am known to call it as I see it. I live at the beach and love the ocean. I love to laugh and I love to make people laugh and think at the same time. I tend to find humor in most everything. I love animals and would adopt a million if I could...I figure the old saying rings true, so...that's me in a peanut shell...
TheEyesOfTex - I am a recent college graduate looking to take on the world, or maybe just D.C. I have super curly red hair, freckles, and really white feet. Red hair is a blessing and I have gotten use to the stares. When I traveled to China I always got a reaction out of children which was definitely amusing. I have hopes one day of seeing the world and having little redheaded brats of my own.
Ceirwan - Hi, my names richard or rich if your a friend and i hate writing profiles! But i'll give it a go...
I currently live on the east coast of england near the river humber.
I'm very tall 6'3'' - 6'4'', have red hair (obviously!) and am rather slim.
I have a very bad temper which mean't that i always used to get made fun of at school
because you were always guaranteed a reaction. My temper is now a fair bit better
under control but i can still 'snap' if i'm pushed far enough.
My hair is long and curly which also gets some comments of some people, but i've
learned to ignore them, some people obviously can't help being stupid! :)
Oh and i really like eating because i can never put on weight. :P
KC - Q: how can you tell that a redhead has been using the computer? A: There is a hammer stuck in the monitor. Now the at the ice is broken, I‰m a pretty fun loving guy, I love the outdoors climbing, kayaking, rafting, camping, all the stuff. Ornery dose not begin to describe me sometimes, so during those time all I can say is run!
CelticCurls - I'm 5'9", slim, fiery redhead guy, but don't take my word for
it. I won "Reddest Hair" in 2003 and "Greenest Eyes" in 2005 at the
Dublin (Ohio) Irish Festival. The photo with the black maze shirt is
my photo upon getting the trophy for "Reddest Hair."
I'm a very calm person and hardly ever get very angry nor am I the
wild type.
I love computers and all things technical. I'm earning my PhD in
Computer Engineering as a reasearch assistant. I program and play
computer games a fair bit in my free time. Not surprisingly, I also
like sci/fi stuff, especially Doctor Who.
Margaret - Self description is a difficult thing for me to do. I suppose I'll start by saying I'm a student at the University of Texas at Austin. As of now, my major is undeclared, but I do intend to go on to law school. Since this is a site about having red hair, I'll mention that I was born with orange fuzz, as my mom puts it; for a few years when I was younger I was on lots of swim teams and all that chlorine made me look like a blonde. I rarely swim in chlorinated water now, and as a consequence my hair has returned to its more natural reddish state. I have an interest in politics, literature, and believe it or not, as an athiest I have an interest in religion. I'm 18 years old, and um yeah. I suppose thats most of it. I left contact information for anyone who is interested in knowing more. Peace. :)
Aimeelynn - Well I am 28 years old and I am a natural redhead. As a child I wasn't to fond of my hair because it made me stand out but now as an adult it is good to stand out. Growing up the only other redheads I knew were my mom and brother. I still don't now any who's hair is a red as mine. I am a stay at home mom of two wonderful children who are my whole world. Sadly niether of then have red hair. Many family members on both mine and my husbands side were disapionted by it.They said I needed to have one more to see if I could get one. I told them all two is plenty redhead or not. In general I am a happy full of life kind of person. I like art and photography. I am a huge movie buff, though I don't get to see as many as I would like because I am watching blues clues or spongebob. I also like cars I have worked in the automovtive for 10 years. Up until I quit to raise my children.
Devil_Ducky - I'm a full time college student majoring in a Fine Arts
Degree. I work as a data-destruction tech on the side. It's an okay
job if you ever want to get your aggression out on paper. I'm very
outgoing and spontanious with close friends. As well as being a
complete immature goof ball when I want to be.
Brenna - I'm never good at these things. I just saw this site from a link from Live Journal and it seemed pretty cool. So ummm...I'm 26, married, I live just outside of Phoenix, but I grew up in Chicago. I work for a telecommunications company, where I have way too much free time. I would love to make some new friends and get some makeup tips. I have such a hard time finding makeup to match my coloring. That's about it, if you want to chat, email or message me.
DBeck - I am a big guy, 6'4", 245lbs+, from Milwaukee Wisconsin and
have been calling it home my entire life. I am majoring in Criminal
Justice/Law Enforcement at Winona State University in Minnesota, I
hope to graduate in 2009 and my goal is to be employed, in some area,
for the Police. I like to meet new people and make new friends..
I am quite reserved at first and figuring me out isn't always easy.
In order to really get to know me you have to stick around for a
while, because it takes time....that's how I know who is true and who
isn't....
So get to know me =)
See ya around..
Buttercup - I am a christian redhead. I love anything to do with nature; hiking, camping, backpacking, etc.. I am a huge lover of the ocean, water.. etc. I am a diver and so coral, fish, curents, sharks, underwater shipwrecks all intrest me. Any thing to do with praising God is sweet too. I like singing but only to God. I am a college student who is struggling with alot of things but will eventually conquer them all.
Phaedrus1981 - I enjoy biking (both pedal and motorcycles), boating, music (I'm a huge Wagner fan but I like all types of music) and reading. The last books I've read include: "The Sea Came in at Midnight (Steve Erickson), "Fellowship of the Ring (Tolkien), "Siddhartha" (Hermann Hesse), "The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz" (Mordecai Richler) and am currently reading "Clara Callan" (Richard Wright). I make my own beer and love to grill.
redhead_brat - I am shy and reserved until I get to know you...then I don't shutup. I am opinionated, but honest. I love life and am very loyal in both friendships and relationships. I do not tolerate liars. I love spending time outdoors, especially in the mountains. I enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, and I absolutely LOVE to cook. My daughter and I love to watch Emeril Live, and also enjoy baking together. We are always trying to come up with new and creative dishes.
