"General thoughts on being a redhead: red isn't just a hair color; it's a way of life; (we also have quite a few rumours/stereotypes to deal with/live up to...) I'm flattered by some worshippers ..... totally creeped out by others. I mean it's one thing to love redheaded people. It's another to be completely obsessed with it. When it becomes to the point that they don't care anything about the person except their hair color, it's out of hand."

"In grade 9 English, we were studying "Lord of the Flies" and color symbolism, most of which is expressed in hair color in the novel. One of the characters is a redhead, and, myself, being the only redhead in the class, was used as an example of expressing characteristic and symbolic traits of a redhead. One of these was a hair-trigger temper. My teacher pointed this out, and I became angry, talking about how it wasn't fair to stereotype, and all this. She just stood up there and smiled, while I realized that I was putting into action a hair-trigger temper!"

"I was at the mall and this older (than me by like 30 years!) guy who works at a stand selling like body rings and stuff such as tongue rings, belly button rings, etc//... he came over to me because I was looking at a new belly button ring and he was like "I'll give that to you for 5 bucks, no tax, just because of your SEXY red hair".. and then he like smelled my hair. ew. creepy. (but I DID end up getting the ring hehe)"
