"I don't think about things like hair color when I'm considering a relationship. I don't think anyone else should, either. What you like to look at and who you want to be with shouldn't necessarily be the same thing, although it's nice when they overlap. Physical attributes have very little to do with whether or not you can meet each other's emotional needs. I dated a man for over a year who was fourteen years my senior, didn't have any of his own teeth, and didn't think for one minute about the way he dressed. He was a good, talented, creative, interesting person, and I didn't care what he looked like at all - not that he was repulsive - he just wasn't a matinee idol. That was almost ten years ago now, and we're still friends.

It's nice to be a redhead and all, but I want you to see ME and know who I am before you go wanting a relationship with me. You can specify colors when you buy a car, but not when you're looking for your soulmate. I want to be with that person when both of our hair is white. What we looked like before is going to be largely irrelevant at that point, except that we might be able to see it in the faces of our children."

"One of the worst things you can do is to pass on stereotypical judgments to a redhead. That just pisses me off to no end. People just automatically assume that we're wild, or hot-tempered, etc. And when someone puts on a fake personality just so they can "get" a redhead, that is just the worst thing you can do."

"Because it's the rarest hair colour, and the hardest to keep dyed that way if it's not natural, it's a total statement. When I walk into a room and shake my mane, people check me out and compliment me. I love being so unique and given nicknames due to my hair colour. Plus, we get singled out for kick ass groups like the realm!"

"I think it's cool that some people out there really like redhair, cuz I know I love having redhair and being admired for it. :) When I was little I used to be called all kinds of redheaded names, like red, pepper mint patty, and such. One day someone called me Strawberry Shortcake in 3rd grade and I came back with, "Well at least *I* look like someone famous.""

"I think the redhead worshippers are amusing, and it's fun to watch them drool all over themselves. Most of the time, when men (and I'm talking about the Internet here) realize I'm a redhead, they automatically assume a) that I'm a nymphomaniac and always in the mood, and b) that I'm willing to chuck it all and be with them because they've "always wanted a redhead." Well boys, the line forms in back of my husband."
