"I love having red hair, it really helps compliment your individuality. and it makes me feel like I am very special and one-of-a-kind in my little clique of people! It's about time we got a little respect!!!"

"I love it! I feel powerful. It's helped me with my career and love life, I stand out, what can I say. In a crowd of many I am usually seen first. Lucky me! I also think red heads naturally wreak sex appeal and vivaciousness. We are dynamic and powerful creatures indeed!"

"Its funny, I never thought about what to tell a woman who would want to approach a MALE redhead, but as a guy who wants to approach a woman with red hair, I think its most important to focus on the TYPE of redhead you are dealing with at first. Lets face it, there are the women out there who are redheads, and there are women out there who KNOW they are redheads. If she is the kind of redhead that is ultra-aware of her redheadedness, and has the attitude that goes along with that, you have to be careful not to try and be witty and try to make cracks/jokes about redheads, or say how much you adore red hair, blah, blah, blah, because you'll be dead. She's prepared for that. in fact, you know what? ALL redheads are prepared for that. We've heard it all our lives. Treat her like a person. You may not even want to mention the fact that you came over to talk to her because of her gorgeous red hair, unless she's giving you signs that you should. If the subject of hair color is touched upon, don't go overboard! Start blabbing, and you're just another obsessed creep. Play it cool, and be sincere. If you love red hair, tell her. But leave it at that. Don't tell her about the "wall of redheads" in your office cube at work, or any crazy stuff like that :) If you really are an obsessed creep, leave the women alone! Now, ladies, if you are going to approach a guy, making comments about his red hair will probably work, regardless, since guys like to be approached, period (guys, you know I'm right). You may want to be wary of teasing right off the bat, since there are some guys who still have mental scars from younger days. But, on the whole, you're pretty safe with a simple, "I love your red hair." or "You've got great hair." The comment "Redheads really turn me on." has been known to work on men, but not so much with women (LOL)."

"You want to approach a redhead? Novel as it may sound, try saying "hello", or maybe "Do you mind if I sit here?" And if you're talking to me, do NOT mention my hair colour until I've been able to establish that you're not some kind of freak. It might also be a good idea for you to try and figure out if I'm in a hostile mood or not."

"I got into a fight one night at a bar. Some drunk jerk asked me if my hair color was real, and I slugged him in the gut. My verbal response was, "Redheads have horrible tempers. Is that enough proof for you?" Another time a guy asked if I was "As red down there" as I was "up here." My reply was, "Is it as small down there *pointing* as it is up here?"
Got a chuckle from everyone around when the guy got redfaced and turned tail and ran. Wimpy men can't handle a true redhead!"

"I think I am unique and with a hot streak to match my hair! I wasn't too thrilled about the light skin (especially since I a, Sicilian and Indian!) and I DEFINITELY did not like the nickname of "casper" all through high school!! But I remember when it was in to be blonde (blondes have more fun etc..) I think these guys just realized not only is it us that have more fun but we can remember it afterwards!!!"
