"It's fun being a redhead. Our hair alone attracts as much attention as that of our golden haired sisters, but without the brunt of jokes and continuous questioning of our intelligence. Basically we get the best of both worlds. You are considered an exotic, sexy, sensual and passionate creature. It also makes you feel pretty damn good when you possess a distinctive feature that has the ability to make some men turn to jello. But like all women, those of us blessed with a halo of fire are unique. While it's flattering to be adored becasue of a physical feature that one possesses, in reality love cannot last based on just one thing. If you are attracted to redheads, good for you. But make sure that you are attracted to other aspects of your love interest."

"I've had a few interesting things happen to me on account of my hair. I had to cover it as much as possible when I was in the military. I was on set for a T.V. show and they had to move me out of the scene because my hair attracted attention away from the main actress. I was chosen to go to Milan for modeling because I was a redhead, but ended up being rejected due to a tattoo on my right calf. I've been told I look like Sissy Spacek and was offered a movie part because of it. But I most enjoy it when I'm compared to the likes of beautiful Nicole Kidman....(by the way, I love tattoos and piercings. I find them irresistable.)"

"Redheads love to be charmed.....don't dare walk up to one of us and ask if we are real redheads...most of us.....or at least me...will find out where you live and quietly sneak in your house.. grab the closest sharp object ... and ... well ....... don't...:) But we usually adore compliments...just don't give too many...it gets old after a while...... but a "you are beautiful..." or.... "Your hair is really pretty..." once in a while... puts the guy on our goodside."

"You hear a lot about the redheads and their temper, but what you don't hear is about our hearts. We often think with our hearts and can be very loving and very honest to a soul mate. We're unique and proud of our differences. As for the hot tempers....you'd have one too if you grew up being teased relentlessly. But, you'll find that we are refreshing in that we are not afraid to stand up for ourselves and we are not afraid to tell you exactly what we want. You'll never find a more open heart than that of a redhead."

"There was a time when I thought that I was ugly because of the kids in school calling me the regular insults because of the hair, but now that I am older, I get alot of compliments from the same boys who were making fun of me! Ironic, isn't it? I always resist the urge to remind them of our childhood days; instead I thank them and tell them that no, I would not like their number, nor will I give them mine!
When I was in the military, I was sitting in the Chow Hall and all of a sudden a Drill Sergeant came up to me and told me that I had the most beautiful hair that he had ever seen and told me to report to him immediately following chow. I did, and he told me that because he was forced to comment on my hair that I then had to drop and give him 50! I didn't ask questions at that point but I did have time to wonder whether or not red hair was good or evil! At that point it looked pretty durn evil, let me tell you!"

"I think being a redhead is a blessing. You get treated like a queen just because of the color of your hair. Every person I have met has just been in awe of my hair color. And the thing with redheads is that no two shades are exactly the same. They are all unique, unlike the blondes and brunettes, which are all the same. (even though you have your variations, i.e. dark brown, light brown, dirty blonde, etc. you don't get much different then that)"
